Our room was warm, clean, big comfy bed, big bath, large fluffy towels with dressing gowns provided too! Complementary tray tea coffee etc. fresh milk can be delivered to the room. Lovely breakfast.
Nothing, all was good.

The location is great for De Montfort Hall concerts. A safe short walk away. Very quiet location along a pathway. Free parking and the hotel let me keep the car there for a while after I had checked out. The room was huge, extremely comfortable, with features / facilities that you don’t see in many hotels now. The sumptuous decor was a lovely change to modern hotels. Wonderfully high ceilings, it was a very spacious room and light filled bathroom. The hotel has a lift, although my room (222) was down a small staircase. The hallways are being refurbished at the moment. I would stay again.
Nothing. It more than satisfied my needs with both the location, room and parking. Great value for money.

There was a lovely feel to this hotel from start to finish. The staff were welcoming and tried to accommodate us to check in early (we were not able to but we weren’t expecting to either) they took our bags and dealt with them whilst we waited. The bar in the evening was great, lovely selection of drinks. The restaurant and food was superb. The guy running the restaurant worked so hard to make sure everyone was comfortable so well done to him! Breakfast was great and a fantastic selection. Rooms were comfortable I got a great nights sleep in the bed. All in all a great stay and would return in a heartbeat!
There was nothing to complain about!

There is lots to like about this hotel. Pease read to the end, the bit about the staff, Firstly it's less than a 10 minute walk from the train station and about 20 minutes to the city centre. The hotel itself is a magnificent old building, well kept on the outside and lovely on the inside, right on the edge of New Walk a traffic free, tree lined avenue. The bedroom offered all you need and the bathroom alone was as big as some hotel bedrooms. Breakfast included possibly the tastiest sausage and bacon we've ever eaten. And last but certainly not least the staff. Special mention goes out to Hemant & Lisa on reception. Lovely people, really welcoming and ideal at front of house. If any hotel in this country has nicer people on reception, than we are get to see it. Thank you to everybody at the Belmont and well done.
Nothing could of been better. Everything was as it should be and better.

It was nice, just wished we'd had more time and had tried something from the breakfast menu and not just the buffet but we had a meeting and so needed to b at the university by 09:45. The assistance given by staff in reserving a disabled parking space 4 me as a Blue Badge user was very much appreciated as well as accessible room. It was the first time I had stayed in a hotel in a year and was a little nervous but your reception staff made us feel very welcome. We were also able to leave our car in the car park whilst we attended the university open day.
With breakfast starting at 8am at weekend there was a big surge of people who needed to queue for hot food as it wasn't self service but I appreciate your footfall for people wanting an earlier time isn't high enough to make it viable.

I arrived at the belmont hotel at 1045 as I was on a early flight from dublin the gentleman that was on reception was so nice and helpfully .it was not a issue for him give us our room .my daughter asked if their was air conditioning in the room and he said no .my daughter needed air conditioning not a problem he gave us a room with air conditioning. Which we appreciate as it was very hot as it was 29 degrees. The bar and restaurant staff were amazing. So friendly..when we were leaving I had asked the lady in reception if she could call me a taxi not a issue. When we were waiting in the taxi the lady who was the reception stood out side with us talking to us till our taxi came. I have stayed in Many hotels all over the world never have I experience the friendly nest and hospitality. Amazing location.

The staff were excellent from start to finish. Friendly and welcoming. The lady at the desk on arrival was really friendly and as we were Welsh started talking a little in Welsh. The 2 ladies serving breakfast were really nice taking time to welcome us and talk to us and talked to my son about his university and they made sure we had everything we wanted. We felt all the staff took the time to say good morning as they passed. Really excellent guest relations.
Not the hotels fault but it was very hot in the rooms. Would be lovely to have air conditioning but realise as well that the building is old with character so maybe not everyone would want air conditioning. But felt I would of slept a little better if I was cooler.

Perfectly placed for a concert at De Montfort Hall and close to the city and places to eat. On New Walk, so leafy and green on that side. Comfortable room and bed, good shower, quiet and ground floor availability. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast and pleasant atmosphere in the bar in the evening.
A little dark in the breakfast room, which made it feel a little gloomy, though the entrance is lovely and light. Rules state 3pm as earliest booking in, which was the time of our afternoon concert. However, had phoned the hotel and were able to register cars to the car park and come back to book in. On arrival at 1.30 is, were actually able to book in after all. So, a minor consideration. Missed the in-room coffee facilities because they were in a cupboard!

The Belmont hotel is a fantastic place to stay. From the moment i arrived i was greeted by a friendly receptionist with a big smile and a warm welcome. I registered, was given my key and was directed to my room which was large with big windows which let lots of natural light flood my room. My bed was extremely comfortable with freshly laundered linen bedding and great pillows to sleep on. After a wonderful comfortable night's sleep i headed down to the breakfast room which was pleasantly relaxing and comfortable. There is a vast selection of Continental foods, juices, fresh croissants, rolls meats and cheeses to choose from. Then there is a table menu with a fantastic selection of hot breakfast foods for which i opted for and i really enjoyed my choice of eggs Benedict which was extremely tasty and wholesome. The waiting staff were friendly, helpful and informative. I departed the Belmont hotel feeling i should have booked a longer stay but with the mind on returning very soon. I highly recommend the Belmont hotel in Leicester for a wonderful and fantastic place to stay, relax unwind and enjoy the splendorous surroundings.
There was absolutely nothing for me to not like about the Belmont hotel

The Hotel is about 20 mins walking along the lovely New Walk promenade to the city centre. It is comfortable and welcoming. It has parking which is a big plus. It is a grand victorian property. Sometimes a little tired in the rooms but has a grandeur that the newer hotels do not have. It has a comfortable bar and terrace which is nice to lounge which are well decorated and cosy. It is near good restaurants in the university district. I would say it is good value for money. The breakfast was good. Whenever I come to Leicester I stay here now. I have tried several of the others but for my needs this is the best option
