The owner is lovely and extremely helpful. Assisted with parking (upon request) and even upgraded me which was so lovely of him! The beds are big and good window size. Bathrooms are clean and there are loads so not a problem with sharing. It's a B&B but they stopped doing breakfast after the pandemic (totally reasonable) I'd love to see them bring that back if possible :)

Id have liked a mirror and lamp in the room - but that's me being picky. Also the socked was on the opposite side to the bed, but that's also very manageable!

Staff were very helpful, provided a towel, shampoo, ironing board/iron, and parking. Room was nice and clean, shared bathroom was good as well - everything functional. Sink in the room was nice as the bathroom was shared. Location is great, near London Road where the train station is, as well as lots of food Was happy considering what I paid for the room!

More toiletries - a bar of soap would have been nice. A table in the room would have been nice to do some work or eat as well. Very basic, but you get what you pay for!

Good price, great location(it's about 5 mins from the train station) , lovely staff, clean room and bathroom. The communal bathroom situation was better than expected, the hotel is arranged in such a way that you're only really sharing the bathroom with a couple of rooms,not an entire floor. There's lots of bathrooms on the floor should you so need.

The mattress was knackered so was sleeping with springs in my side, the communal bathroom has nowhere to hang or put your clothes down in. There was only a single socket in the room, had I known I'd have brought and extension block, that was more of a neutral however.

A clean, friendly house with the necessities for a short break - toilet, shower and bed. Old-fashioned but none the worse for that. Receptionist very friendly and helpful (especially when I couldn't suss the shower!!!). Very close to the shops and the railway station. Recommended and hopefully I will return.

The location was very good (next to a museum and park), easy to find and in a quiet area. I liked that the hallways were all covered with carpet. The room and bed were clean. The toilet and bathroom were close by. I was not aware when I booked the room, that I will be having a single room. This was a nice surprise . The staff at the reception was very nice and competent.

The only thing, which I did not like was that it was not clear which door of the two were the entrance door.

Liked what I got for what I payed for can't say fairer than that.

The shower hot & cold water was very tempermentral but other than that everything else during my numerous stays has been good.

Hotel staff were friendly, Room was clean albeit basic, Towel & miniature shampoo was provided on check in. Was able to get Free Wi-Fi Access which was a bonus & for a budget hotel room it wasn't bad.

Stairs inside the property were a little uneven and difficult to get up & down if you have big feet (I'm size 12 and I had to go up sideways), Toilets and Washrooms weren't cleaned at all during my 2 day stay and I cleaned it myself, Signage outside the hotel states Bed & Breakfast but this is NOT available since Covid, however you can get free tea & coffee upon speaking to the check in staff. Communal Area/Check In area is quite dark and dingey.

first of all ,I m not the one to complain as some others did before , I knew what to expect and all I was interested in was an affordable acommodation that is close to the O2 Leicester the room is quite spacious , it has a sink , 2 chairs and the bed which is really very comfy nothing spectacular, basic but clean which is so important.The toilets and showers were clean and I didn t have a single encounter with anyone during the time I was there , even though the place was quite full, You get offered toiletries and a towel at the check in, I d definitely stay there again if I m on my own , basically everyone needs a place (clean place ) to crash after a night out ,event etc. one more thing : visits are not allowed, just in case.... if you re looking for something fancier just go somewhere else :)

Staff was very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. We were there for a university interview, which took longer than expected, The staff was kind enough to let us keep the car parked outside hotel for 2 hours longer than checkout time. We will definitely come back if we go to Leicester again.

Hotel is aged, and the decoration is from 80's , but it has its charm. Lighting is a bit dull. Price reflects it too, so no complaints , just a note.

The second night,one of the staff made me a cup of tea which I was pleased at that kind gesture.I was impressed a bit cus it was a really well organised building

I thought that one of the female staff was a bit impatient.She didn't give any consideration to my hearing difficulty and didn't given me any chance to do any sign language. Apart from that,it was ok
