Loved the hotel. I liked the room space, it felt relaxing. Very comfortable bed, could have stayed in it all day if I didn't have plans for the day. Really appreciated the safe. Friendly bar service. Good breakfast, although would have liked proper filter coffee.

The kettle lead very short so had to constantly move it. I felt the tea, coffee supplies were being rationed! Shower was great but not the space. The narrow bath with curved sides, made it difficult to get a comfortable position in the shower. This was made worse by the positioning of the gel and shampoo as kept hitting them with my arm. I really didn't like that there was no complimentary water in the room.

The room rate was great, booked online last minute and was lucky to find that this was cheaper than every other hotel in the area. Really nice hotel from the look of things, very modern and new, ii was only sleeping there so didnt venture beyond check in and straight to my room. The room was comfortable and the facilities in the room were typical Marriott high standard. I thought I could easily return here next time im in the area.

ok, this is a tiny thing and the hotel could've easily solved it for me if id raised it but I was so tired that I just went to sleep. but why do they use down pillows and duvets. I think years ago these were luxury but today I think they could get better supportive pillows and duvets. But this is a minor I know lots of people love them and the hotel definitely would've fixed it no problem had I raised it. but good for you to note, if you are allergic make sure you request a feather free room before you arrive.

Stunning atrium. Staff highly professional and friendly, from reception to service staff and housekeeping. Room spacious and comfortable. Good choice at breakfast.

Room on verge of looking tired and dated. Breakfast had everything you would expect, but the presentation was more 3 star than 4. eg large pots of preserves that you gad to share with rest of restaurant, pastries were very 'commercial' and not produced in house. Limited choice of juice, etc. Needs better attention to detail to justify 4 stars. Charging £7.00 for parking is just greedy when you have already paid for the room and considering the car park is not secure.

Great breakfast, very high quality rooms. Car parking and good signage to find the place. Staff were very professional and helpful. Bed was very comfortable and pillows were high quality. Great coffee making facilities.

Whilst modern in everything it would be better to have a walk-in shower rather than a step in bath shower with single jet hand shower. Better to have a rain shower with decent high pressure which this was not. That then would have matched the quality of the room. I have a gripe about paying £42 for two sandwiches and two coffees but that is just an old out of touch guy saying "how much!!". I need to get out more.

I did like the environment, it has this country kind of vibe away from the city centre where there is a lot of noise but, this area is away from the main city centre, clean, quiet and breath taken.

The staff were welcoming and professional. The rooms are large enough and very clean, though I would have preferred the personnel in charge to allow free access on the TV. You can't watch anything on the TV, no free views; you can only use the Bluetooth on your phone to listen to audio music, which I did not like. Other than that, ever other thing or services was good.

Comfortable clean room, nice size bed. The room had a fridge, which was great. Shower gel, hair shampoo, and conditioner are all included in the bathroom. Breakfast times were great, open to 11am. Restaurant food was lovely, evening meal lamb rump was very good. Breakfast had lots of variety and plenty of it, and I can't fault the food at all.

Not enough coffee and milk in the room, we stayed for 1 night and on arrival there were 2 sachets of coffee and 3 tiny cartons of milk, and no biscuits like other hotels I've stayed in. No main ceiling light so very dark when getting ready to go out.

Good location just outside of town which meant it was quieter than the city centre hotels, big rooms with tea/coffee and friendly staff. They had cucumber water at reception which was a nice touch. The hotel parking was really convenient and decently priced which was a big plus. I didn’t take up the breakfast at the hotel so can’t comment on the food but passing by it looked like a decent amount of options.

The only disappointing thing was that there was no water in the rooms. I stayed for 2 nights and would have thought they would have provided a water bottle for the room but maybe I’m just used to other hotels providing it.

Room service dinner was excellent and really appreciated, goats cheese croquettes then delicious stone bass and veg, thanks to the gents in the restaurant and bar for putting our order through right at the last minute after a hellish journey on the M1! Really comfortable beds and spacious well decorated rooms. Great to have a bathroom with bath.

Reception staff were not clear on timings for the last orders of hot food for room service dinner. We called en route in terrible traffic and were given incorrect info. Fortunately we rushed straight over to the restaurant to order our dinner on arrival.

From arrival to departure, everyone was very helpful and friendly. Also a lot of people stayed there but we could not tell - only noticed the amount of cars in the parking. We had a family room. Great size with a large enough TV. Very clean with enough towels provided. The shower gel was a highlight for us. Really good quality. Not all hotels provide good products. We had a great stay!

The drains in the bathroom seemed to be a bit blocked. A very small thing - there could have been 4 mugs for tea/coffee but only 2 were provided.

The staff are always lovely. So welcoming and friendly. The rooms are very spacious. The layout of the hotel is very nice. There is always plenty of parking. The food is very good, both at breakfast, in the bar and in the dining area at dinner. We can always find a seat in the evenings, and most times during the day in the foyer, unless there is a large business event running.

Sometimes the heating in the rooms doesn't work very well. We have stayed a number of times, and we really like it however, there appears to be an inconsistency with having certain things in the rooms. Sometimes we get water, sometimes we don't. Sometimes we have a Nespresso machine, sometimes we don't. Sometimes things don't get replaced unless we ask. The executive lounge breakfast option is poor, so we wouldn't book that again.
