lovely conversion of old Fenwick shop. Very welcoming entrance area which is also a bar. Breakfast delicious and great value. Very spacious room.

On the third floor as you come out of the lift and turn right, then left, the carpeted corridor floor has a sudden small slope which I didn’t see and fell over. I got bad grazing from the carpet and went to reception to ask for a dressing and bandage which they helpfully gave me. I was surprised they didn’t ask me to fill in an accident report as the graze was quite bad. Maybe they need training on accident reporting. Also this part of the corridor should definitely have a warning about the uneven floor. I wasn’t hurt seriously (ie no permanent damage) but it could have been worse especially for an older person.

Very good location for a visit to Leicester in the heart of the city centre. Beautiful decor. Very comfortable. This was a studio apartment so good for self catering with the benefits of a hotel such as a restaurant and bar and communal areas. There is a lift. Breakfast was good. A nice, simple selection for continental and you could order a cooked breakfast. It had good quality ingredients and was nice to have it cooked fresh to order. Staff are very friendly and helpful. As I arrived I passed the receptionist helping someone with a heavy case. Good value for money. 10 min walk to station and large car park round the corner - 2 mins.

This area has a number of bars and clubs nearby so can be a little bit of noise from the street but I slept fine.

Great location for us opposite the Comedy Club we were visiting and close to plenty of bars and restaurants. An easy walk from the train station and further into the city. Breakfast was very good and all staff were friendly. Our room was quite cold on arrival but staff were very responsive when this was mentioned on our way out for the afternoon. They put an additional heater in the room so that it was really warm for our return. Easy check in online and pick up of keys on the desk. We liked the fact that even though it was an aparthotel there were always staff on hand. When the door was locked at night, we could let ourselves in and there was still a staff member on the reception desk. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

Fantastic AC and general temperature control, functioning elevators, clean hotel in general with very comfortable beds and proper refrigerator. Excellent location only 10 minutes walk from the train station. So much more bang for your buck than staying in London. Very quiet rooms too.

Only the shower left something to be desired. The water and temperature control were fine, it's just the stall itself that was awkward. Outside of a redesign on the stall, I would recommend at least a shelf in the stall so you can rest your soap and shampoo instead of having to reach out to the sink. The drain cover also pops out with the slightest brush of the foot and is a constant source of irritation. Just get rid of them.

Nice and spacious. We was locked in the car park because it was New Year’s Day and didn’t realise it would be locked up and closed with our car inside! The staff at the hotel couldn’t have done enough…extended our room for free provided a drink and offer of a meal and also went our their way to contact the car park office where eventually we was let out…amazing and compassionate team of people! Could not thank them enough! Thank you.

Nothing the hotel can do and it was NYE but it was very noisy with clubbers leaving at the end of the night. Could have done with a toaster in the room only because there is a little hob and microwave just fancied some toast.

The facilities are always consistently as per expectations and the larger rooms exceed these in terms of spaciousness, sense of luxury as well as comfort. However, Dominique as a staff member always stands out too because she is always so vibrant, accommodating and helpful going above and beyond to ensure that your stay is a pleasant one. No ask seems to be an issue and she will often help to improve your stay without me prompting if there is availability on the day. Outstanding service and super friendly. That doesn't mean to say that other staff members aren't also inviting and helpful, as they are. The atmosphere in the bar area is always just the right level of vibrance, comfort and has a lovely stylish layout. When returning to your room though it's a nice change as it's completely quiet and comfortable which is why I always choose and return to the Gresham.

We love the studio. The location, spaciousness and layout of the studio were brilliant. Chic furnishings. A small but very useful warm towel rack in the bathroom. Quiet.. and the corridors were well lit. The staff was mostly friendly and definitely polite & helpful. We were allowed in a couple of hours before check in time. Thank you, we appreciate it. We had dinner downstairs, it was great.

Nothing serious, just small details that could improve the stay. The heater turned back to 18 degrees C after every attempt to turn up the temperature. The shower cubicle has a tiny door. There’s no toaster, which was a bit disappointing as we had everything..

We stayed in the apartments located the side of the hotel. Private entrance to the apartment, apartments was very clean, provided with the basic essentials. Location of this hotel is perfect, with parking only 5mins.

Lacking one whole double bed, we got two singles stuck together and held with a clamp. I do understand that most apartments have this, but the wife and I kept sinking down the middle. But overall it is not a massive problem.

Nice hotel in a great location, very stylish bar and restaurant with friendly staff . Had I couple of issues that where resolved quickly. Thank you Dominique Haines for going up and beyond, upgrading our room and even offered free breakfast in the morning, also thanks to the housekeeping team for the swan and rose petals x

There was issues with the Internet and minor things like ring marks from drinks on the furniture but these issues where dealt with prompt by the hotel reservation manager Dominique Haines. She is a credit to the Gresham

Good choice of breakfast, staff helpful and accommodating, comfortable bed and room

Unfortunately on the morning of checkout the key system shut off before checkout time effectively trapping me between exits on the upper floor. It was only by attracting the attention of a cleaning person could I get out. This could have caused someone to have a panic attack. Reception staff apologised saying that for some reason the time had defaulted to 10.30am. There should be some sort of override system or alarm button that could be activated in such circumstances. It would have been nice to have had milk cartons in the room/fridge on arrival. With hindsight, a room not overlooking a busy city centre street (on a Saturday night) would have made for a quieter night but that did not occur to me at the time!
