Exceptionally clean, great funky decor. The staff are extremely helpful and polite. Fab location for city centre. Comfortable beds and blackout curtains a bonus! Big showers great facilities in the room, including fridge. Hair dryer, iron, plenty of sockets. I do like this place very much.

Although there is a car park on site at the hotel, this is not advertised, we were there for check in on time and the car park was already full. We had to park st another location and get a taxi back to the hotel and taxi back to the car on check out.

The location is very convenient - just a 15-minute walk from the centre and right near Nelson Mandela Park. All the staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, well-equipped and nicely designed and the bar was very comfortable and relaxed and beautifully designed.

The mattress was a little bit hard for my tastes and I found it hard to get to sleep on the first night. We also found the breakfasts to be disappointing. The bread was generally of poor quality, as were the cereals and the coffee. The cooked breakfast was also quite limited. Added to that, the staff were rushed off their feet so it was difficult to get their attention and at times, things had run out and weren't replaced quickly. I would have liked to see jumbo oats added to the cereal choice – this is a healthy and substantial cereal (unlike granola, which is full of sugar) and also a naturally gluten-free option. I would also have liked to see more whole grain sourdough bread, an option to have eggs cooked any way, and perhaps a bean instead of tinned baked beans.

I have my own room on the corner, so I had like two big windows with lots of lie coming in base in the Tigers ground entrance so it was actually pretty good. And I found it very relaxing with laid-back stuff also very very helpful. bartenders were excellent great service. Also had plenty of space with a lot of seating and good variety at breakfast, a good hot and cold selection. The rooms were amazing and the attention to detail with lighting hairdryers and necessities were really good. Everything you needed.

I actually can’t think of anything I didn’t like about my day generally it was a really nice day relaxing stressfree great food and great cocktails

I was impressed by how friendly and helpful all the staff were with whom I came into contact. My room was a good size and was very clean and comfortable and well furnished. I slept very well and although I overlooked a main road, I was not disturbed by noise from traffic. The hotel is about a fifteen minute walk from the city centre and from the railway station but has bus stops very close with regular services if you do not want to walk. The breakfast offering was very varied with something for everyone, with food on the hot buffet freshly cooked and regularly replenished. I enjoyed my stay and would certainly stay here again if I was in the area.

I had not complaints at all.

This hotel is one of the best I’ve ever stayed in. I loved the way the room was laid out with the bed in the middle - it felt like a throne. Everything about the room and the bathroom was modern and new. It was very clean. I loved the little touches that made my stay there stand out - the novel in the room by F.Scott Fitzgerald (not some trashy summer read), the free cans of water and biscuits, the eco friendly bottles of toiletries, the period telephone, the fridge. The staff were very courteous and friendly. The restaurant and bar looked amazing, but unfortunately I didn’t have the opportunity to use them.

I couldn’t get the television to work. I could have called the staff about it, but I couldn’t be bothered. In order to go up to your room from reception, you have to go up the first floor, then change to a different lift. I was surprised that the reception staff didn’t inform us of this. There was a whole bunch of guests and not just me who were looking puzzled in the lift, and it came down to a lady who was delivering room service to kindly explain it to us!

We stayed here while our son was in the ICU following heart surgery, and the experience truly exceeded our expectations during a very difficult time. The staff consistently went above and beyond to support us, helping us feel as comfortable and cared for as possible under the circumstances. Due to the nature of our situation, we stayed in several different rooms over the course of our visit, and each one was spacious, clean, and offered lovely views. On our final night, we stayed in the adaptable room with our son, which was exceptionally well designed. Features like the full-length mirror, remote-controlled curtains, and fully accessible bathroom made a real difference and reflected thoughtful attention to detail. The restaurant staff were incredibly accommodating when we explained our son's need for space away from others. They found us a comfortable, quiet spot where he could feel at ease, and we were genuinely grateful for that level of care. Small touches like the canned water, coffee bags, and various eco-friendly solutions were much appreciated and added to the overall sense of a well-considered and welcoming environment. Thank you to everyone who made our stay a little easier—we’ll always remember the kindness shown to us during such a challenging time.

On one occasion, when we rechecked in, we were told our room would be cleaned and restocked. Unfortunately, when we returned later that night from the hospital, the room hadn't been serviced, but this really wasn't too much of an issue given how exceptional everything else was.

LOCATION: 15 minutes walk from Liecester City Football Club, University of Liecester and Liecester Train Station. 4 Minutes Walk from Liecester Royal Infirmary and 2 Minutes from Rugby Stadium and Nelson Mandela Park for morning runs and evening walks. Very close to the centre yet located in a quiet and less congested area. PARKING: Limited local car parki @ £20 a night and needs to booked in advance Liecester Royal Infirmary Multi-storey Car Park is 2 minutes walk away and a cheaper option. AMBIANCE: Just exceptional! An interesting mix of retro, wild western and rustic decor. Lot of experimentalism gone right. Very clean. STAFF: Very courteous, polite and helpful receptionist ROOM: Perhaps one of the best and most thoughtfully designed. Great sound proofing. Dimmable lights, USB charging sockets, retro phone and radio, very well placed LCD TV, Coffee and Tea Making facilities, work desk and chair, mini bar, one sofa and tea table, locker, electric iron/ ironing board, ample electric sockets, amazing bed side lamps/ reading lights. Air-conditioning that can be tuned to perfection, exceptionally comfortable bed (medium firm) and medium soft pillows! Apotheke White Vitever fragrance toiletries! Full marks to the interior designer! BREAKFAST: Nothing short of amazing! Many freshly cooked hot vegetarian entries, along with eggs and sausages of different sort. Eggs and vegan sausages can be cooked upon request. Fruit juices, hot drinks. Food was fresh, wholesome and tasty!

THINGS THAT CAN BE IMPROVED: 1. Provision of bathroom slippers 2. Provision of firm pillows.

Location was superb for Leicester. Room was clean and well laid out and very spacious. Hot tub was lovely touch. Nespresso machine in room was great. All staff were superb. Felt like family.

Decor in room is a little drab - could do with freshening up. Personal choice but I felt it was a bit dark. Room a little tired in places and needs some attention. Patio a little worn and would be more luxurious for the suite to have real plants as coverage rather than plastic plants. For privacy between the suites need more than frosted glass - again plants would be superb. Outdoor seating needs to be upgraded. Room service menu is limited and customer service not great when ordering. Staff were a little confused about food options. TV was not a smart TV as advertised and was a little dissatisfied only having terrestrial TV to watch. For a suite really need to have smart TV with streaming channels.

Room more than I expected. so disappointed I only booked 1 night. Appreciated the upgrade. Such a warm welcome from reception. Such a quiet night. Breakfast was fabulous and staff attentive. Hotel easily competes with similar brands. Thank you.

Nothing wrong with the stay. The only thing is that I am not a rugby fan and it was too close to the pit so I would only stay gain if out of season :) One other thing, I don't like King size beds, especially as it was 2 singles together as if I hadn't put pillows down the middle I would have woke with back pain. A queen is more than sufficient for one person :)

I was so impressed with this hotel! Communication was great before arrival. The design and decor are fantastic. The room was a great size and had everything we needed. It was very clean and modern. The bathroom was outstanding. We stayed on a half board basis, and the food was really good quality. The staff were all helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend it! The location is also very convenient. We went to a show at The De Montfort Hall, which was around ten minutes walk away.

The only thing I didn't like was the lack of car park spaces and the cost to park overnight is quite expensive. Luckily, we were able to park elsewhere.
