Comfortable bedroom with wash stand. Evidence of ongoing maintenance to keep building up to a high standard. Carpeted public areas muffles sound. Toilet and shower facilities kept very clean and tidy. Friendly front of house team for check-in and check out. Very close to transport links makes this excellent value for money. Good quality WiFi.

Photos showed room with desk as well as in description of room. This was not present. This would be a nice to have more than a necessity, but it should be only in description if all rooms have a desk.

The owner is lovely and extremely helpful. Assisted with parking (upon request) and even upgraded me which was so lovely of him! The beds are big and good window size. Bathrooms are clean and there are loads so not a problem with sharing. It's a B&B but they stopped doing breakfast after the pandemic (totally reasonable) I'd love to see them bring that back if possible :)

Id have liked a mirror and lamp in the room - but that's me being picky. Also the socked was on the opposite side to the bed, but that's also very manageable!

Easy going, helpful, understanding, and in the centre of town. Affordable.

Bed and breakfast would be great even breakfast, sandwiches or something similar for sale in morning.

Basic but functional room near city centre at a good price. Was very quiet.

Staff were very helpful, provided a towel, shampoo, ironing board/iron, and parking. Room was nice and clean, shared bathroom was good as well - everything functional. Sink in the room was nice as the bathroom was shared. Location is great, near London Road where the train station is, as well as lots of food Was happy considering what I paid for the room!

More toiletries - a bar of soap would have been nice. A table in the room would have been nice to do some work or eat as well. Very basic, but you get what you pay for!

Good price, great location(it's about 5 mins from the train station) , lovely staff, clean room and bathroom. The communal bathroom situation was better than expected, the hotel is arranged in such a way that you're only really sharing the bathroom with a couple of rooms,not an entire floor. There's lots of bathrooms on the floor should you so need.

The mattress was knackered so was sleeping with springs in my side, the communal bathroom has nowhere to hang or put your clothes down in. There was only a single socket in the room, had I known I'd have brought and extension block, that was more of a neutral however.

Very peaceful friendly staff and other occupants. Can’t complain about anything

A clean, friendly house with the necessities for a short break - toilet, shower and bed. Old-fashioned but none the worse for that. Receptionist very friendly and helpful (especially when I couldn't suss the shower!!!). Very close to the shops and the railway station. Recommended and hopefully I will return.
