We enjoy the swimming pool and jacuzzi, and the breakfasts are always excellent.

I didn't like having to remember to pay for parking every 24 hours. This was stressful as it meant either planning our day so we were back in time to pay, or paying twice within a 24 hour period if we knew we were going to be out somewhere for the day when it became due. I preferred the previous system where the hotel just added the relevant number of days' parking to my booking at the end of my stay. I have to be honest and say that this new system will be a consideration when booking again. I also think that £4.50 for 3 ordinary sized packets of Walkers crisps was tantamount to racketeering - one of the packs was actually part of a multipack so was even smaller than the other two.

We stayed at the Hilton over night for my birthday treat and also we had to go for our wedding food tasting evening to choose for our forthcoming wedding breakfast that's included in our wedding package . I just want to shout out the chef Adrian your food you made was amazing thankyou we were so happy with our choices. Overall the staff at the Hilton are very friendly and accommodating to our needs . Breakfast was really good too . See you in June 😊

The hotel was supposed to be doing some changes in the foyer and the rooms updating things I don't think this has been started yet

Found evening reception staff unhelpful and didn’t know what they were doing seemed very confused. Kept getting room number wrong whilst trying to book breakfast even when pointed out he argued it wasn’t the wrong room number and charged us twice staff in morning admitted he had put wrong room number still Awaiting refund.

Able to check-in very late. Contacted staff on the day to advise late arrival. After a short wait, I was able to check in just before Midnight and was warmly welcomed by the reception desk staff member. Breakfast (full English) was very satisfying and the staff were very welcoming again.

The room without a desk lamp or corner lamp, made for a dark room and that was inconvenient and not very welcoming.

I liked the service on the reception. I also had the breakfast voucher which was great value for money. Compliments to the resturant team they were fantastic. Rooms were good , good supply of towels and toiletries as well as tea and coffee.

Rooms could do with updating. The carpet in my room was stained and could do with a plug near the bed for alarm clock Other than that a great stay.

I have honestly never slept in a more comfortable bed, and the pillows were unbelievable. Loved the large desk area in the room as well as a nice seating area. Crabtree and Evelyn products in bathroom were very nice.

Doing a refurb so there are a few spots in the hallways that were a little tatty but when they are done, it will be amazing.

Everything was excellent. Corina at Reception was exceptionally helpful to us. We were offered a [free] upgrade to a ground floor superior room because we had our 8-month-old daughter with us.

Several photographs on line showed a white grand piano in the main lounge, which we remembered well from 15 years ago (this hotel hosted our Wedding Reception). Apparently it's recently been sold off. Disappointing.

Great for a stop off as just off the M1 , the kids loved the pool , which was much needed after long journey sitting in the car . The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic, great selection and delicious.

The family room was clean but quite small, my son slept on a sofa bed that was quite uncomfortable but ok for one night I suppose.

I asked for extra pillows and they hadn't been put in my room had to go back to reception to ask again The breakfast wasn't very nice cold meat and cheese looked very dry Hot breakfast tasteless The bed was huge but uncomfortable ended up with a bad back

Hotel better than expected, facilities amazing, staff really friendly. There was a huge variety for breakfast, which was delicious. Pool area really nice. I would definitely come back if I came to Leicester again.

Not necessarily a dislike, room was a great size, clean, comfy bed etc. But could maybe do with updating to the typical 'hilton standard' that you imagine it to have.
