Our stay at Ben A'an House really exceeded our expectations. It was only a one-night stay on the way to the north of Scotland and we really didn´t needed much. BUT! The house was really nicely and tastefully renewed (reality is much better than photos!), the host was really helpful and attentive, the breakfast was the best one we got during our trip through Scotland. Shared bathroom was really nice and spacious – and it was used only by two room – what meant we didn´t met anyone. Thank you again!

We were on the way somewhere to somewhere and booked very spontaneously. Price, location and especially the photos of the appealing facilities made me book the Ben A'an. Already one hour after booking we were received very nice and uncomplicated by Cullum. The accommodation is really exceptionally tastefully furnished - a real pleasure for someone who values good taste. In the morning lovely Lindsey provided us with an absolutely delicious breakfast in the beautiful kitchen. She gave us great tips for excursions (which we have tried all except the ice cream store). Thank you so much for a lovely, albeit very short, stay. If we ever travel to Scotland again, this would be my first address.

Nothing to criticize

The room is spacious, clean and stylish. We've had the absolute best breakfast! The host is very friendly and helpful with tips. We only stayed for one night, but there's plenty to do in the area. We enjoyed the walk to bracklin falls and climbing Ben A'an.

The bed really wasn't for us, the matras felt like it was done. And they should put some bumps in the road in front of the house as at night it sounded like it became a racing track.

It was perfect. The design details were a cut above the norm. We were surprised to see the designer touches. The host was terrific. Great music and the food was excellent. We were. Surprised and thrilled to stay there, far above our expectations. It is an excellent place to stay, you will not be disappointed.

The attention to detail by Lyndsey and Callum was exceptional, Callum messaged the morning of arrival and confirmed booking and arrival time, once we arrived we where met by Lyndsey who showed us about and to our room, as we had a young child (1 Years old) we had a cot put into the room, they had even put some toys into the room for him to play with which was a nice touch. We had dinner booked as well, the food was out of this world steak cooked to perfection, hand-made chips with the perfect crunch, the broccoli was really tasty too, then there was the homemade ice cream! Wow absolutely stunnning, Callum certainly knows his stuff in the kitchen, breakfast was amazing too, great filling start to the day. Lyndsey was the perfect host, her dedication to her guests in warming to see, she was very welcoming which when travelling with such a young child is reassuring, never have we felt so welcomed when travelling with our son than here! The place was spotless, bed was amazingly comfortable and room very spacious and cozy. To stay at the Ben Aan House is like staying with Family.

We needed a.place to stay overnight then fuel up early the next morning for a long hike. Callum and Lyndsey's house was perfect. Comfy beds, warm and cozy rooms, big shower with great water pressure..spotlessly clean, lots of food and drink options and the whole place is a thoughtful mix of modern design touches and traditional Scottish house Would love to stay here again.

Callum is a friendly and easygoing host. The B&B offers great dinner and breakfast. We're surprised by the quality and originality. Callander is a nice, small town (with a great bakery) in beautiful and potentially adventurous surroundings. The rooms are very charming and tastefully decorated. It made us feel at home. We had our own bathroom, but I don't know if that's 'normal' since the other room wasn't occupied. We stopped by for only one night (and had to hit the road the next day), but we'd love to stay.

This was the best BnB we stayed in during our entire trip through England and Scotland. Lyndsey and Callum's attention to detail was evident throughout the establishment and highlighted their attuned understanding of the needs of their guests. The breakfast was exceptional and they were very helpful in suggesting places to visit in the local area. I would highly recommend staying at Ben A'an House!

The property has so much character - really tasteful interior design - wish they could decorate my house! The owner was so accommodating as we arrived before check in and had to get ready for a wedding - he whizzed around and cleaned our room as a priority. The breakfast is so nice.
