Room was clean and exactly what I was expecting. Hotel is located very close to the places I wanted to visit: Galleria and Waterwall There are two restaurants right in front of the hotel, so having food was also easy!

The fire alarm went off twice in one night, it seems the sensor was damaged. It did wake me up! I do understand things may fail, that is the only thing I didn't like.

Good location. The reception desk staff obliged by allocating a bathroom with separate shower cubicle as I reported that I couldn’t climb over a bath for shower. The beverage bar at reception with disposable travel mugs with lids was a great help to have coffee or tea on the go.. breakfast basic but adequate. Bed comfortable, pillows soft , good. Clean . Plenty of clean towels. Altogether got value for money,

There were 2 showers, one overhead which was powerful but the one which could be brought down was tricky. Manageable. . Didn’t like the coffee, tea was better,

Our room was ready before check in time and that was great. My husband had had outpatient surgery that morning and he needed to rest. The only thing that wasn't great was where the room was. It was one of the furthest rooms from the entrance, back in the far back corner. It was quiet though. Our floor was still under renovation so it was not very pretty walking down the hallways. Room was clean and comfortable and nicely equipped. Breakfast was very good, had really good choices and definitely enough to eat. The staff was very friendly and helpful and accomodating.

Just the renovation...was a little depressing looking in the hallways but how do you get around that? It happens.

the breakfast and room were great, I also liked the covered parking and how close I was to lots of businesses. they did place me at the end of the hall for privacy and quiet which I liked!

the hallway I was in was under repairs and looked unsightly to arrive to. the pool was also misleading in photos! it was very tiny, and my water tumbler was stolen from the pool as well :( I also didn't like the lack of toiletries, there was a tiny bar to wash my face and hands with? no lotion, no seperate hand soap. my room also overlooked a dumpster which was not the best lol.

I wish I could give this hotel a 12 out of 10! My experience was truly exceptional. The front desk agents, Roy and Maricel, went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. I was visiting for a work trip, and they couldn’t have been more accommodating. I especially appreciated Maricel helping me with printing my work documents, she made it so easy and was genuinely kind about helping me. When I needed a late checkout due to work issues, they didn’t hesitation, which really made a difference. Also the hotel was impeccably clean, from the lobby to my room, and the housekeeping team did an outstanding job throughout my stay. If you are planning to stay long term, i recommend this place. I even extended my stay for an extra week because I felt comfortable and impressed with the cleanliness and service. Honestly, I’ve stayed in some high end hotels before, and this experience was just as good, maybe even better. Can’t wait to go back this summer!

Wish I didn’t have to leave! I will definitely be back for my summer vacation.

Staff are excellent and hospitable. This is my 3rd time to stay in sonesta ES every time I attend the Houston Aortic Symposium. Highly recommended to my friends who will visit houston I would like to commend the lady in the front desk and the housekeeping for their HONESTY. An hour after i checked out, I realized that i had forgotten to get my body bag at the safe. When i called back to inform them that i left some valuables at their safe a few minutes, later we had the feedback that its there. God bless the Honest staff of SONESTA ES (march 18, 2023).

Spacious rooms, breakfast was ok and with enough sitting capacity. A lot of parking spots. Rooms were quiet even in the ground floor. Showers were good, bathroom was spacious as well. Most of the staff was very friendly and helpful

One particular staff member, at night, was extremely rude to a number of guests, yelling at us and eventually telling us to leave the hotel because "2 people talked at the same time to him". Of course we did not leave and the rest of the stay was ok.

Coming from the close-by former Indigo Hotel where I had stayed many times I was at first slightly disappointed by the lack of an artistic flair at Sonesta - slowly I came to accept the basic no frills atmosphere and learned to appreciate the positive elements: the free and always available parking right in front of the hotel as well as the excellent lighting ; one of our top requirements, the super comfortable beds, the kitchen which allowed having meals in if one chose; the breakfast which offered something for all tastes and was well presented, and the great shower in the bathroom. The washroom is a great plus even though we did not use. The location is of course tops.

Just an idea might be to spruce up your entrance to the hotel - rearrange that space to seem more like a welcome space rather than just an office with drab office lighting.

The property was very clean and well maintained from what we could see. The staff were very helpful, and although it was after 11pm when we were checking in, they still had smiles on their faces and just a good attitude. The room was really nice, super clean, smelled good, and it had literally everything you needed to cook a small meal....pots/pans, utensils, plates, etc. The fridge was a good size, a nice microwave, and a two burner glass stove top. The bed was super comfortable, the linens were clean, and the standard white, including the towels, AC worked perfectly, and there was even a small couch to watch TV. There is also a table to eat at. They provide a laundry basket if you need to wash, a ironing board and iron as well as a hair dryer. I will definitely rent a room here again when in town on business. And it was affordable.

I can't think of anything except maybe just some very minor small cosmetic repairs that were needed in the room. The only thing I would really push management/owner to do is invest in USB charging ports on the outlets in a couple of places, such as on the night tables. People usually have a cord now with them but not the charging box to plug into the wall. USB charging ports would be a good investment.

The location was perfect, next to the biggest mall The Galleria. Hotel has free private parking which is very good. The room was big, a couple could live in it, has a full kitchen including a dishwasher. also had a washing machine on the second floor. The breakfast is OK but do not expect much. I would select this hotel again if I had a business again in this area.

AC was working loudly but this is US many of them working like that
