We had a fantastic stay at Villa Ettore! We came in from the train a little early but waited very comfortably in the garden for our room to be ready and perfect. Stefano was kind, courteous, and professional. He recommended places to eat in town away from typical tourist traps, and we ended up seeing him later at dinner at one of the best restaurants we’ve ever been to. The Villa was beautifully renovated and decorated, and our room was spacious, beautiful, comfortable, and a great value. The black out blinds and luxurious bed made our night so peaceful we almost slept through our check out! We will absolutely be coming to Pompeii again and we will absolutely be booking with Villa Ettore again, highly recommended!

Beautiful property in great proximity to the archaeological park and some lovely restaurants away from the crowds. The hosts served a wonderful breakfast of fresh pastries every day! We were also able to have a parking space for the duration of our stay which was a great bonus as we were able to explore Pompeii completely on foot yet take a day trip to Herculaneum and Sorrento without worry. Stefano and Anna are wonderful hosts and we would return without hesitation.

The property is on a main road and the traffic can be noisy with windows open if in one of the rooms facing the road.

We had a wonderful stay, the accommodation was excellent, very clean and perfect location, just 5 min walking to the ruins and amphitheatre. We attended a concert at the amphitheatre, so it was perfect, since we were nearby and could quickly walk home at night. The train/bus station to Naples is as well just 5 min walking away. The host Stefano was super friendly and helpful; he even offered us a ride with his car to the city. I can only highly recommend this great place.

The room was very spacious, clean, cosy and comfortable. It’s on a great location, on a walking distance from the Pompei ruins, city center and train station. There was one other room next door but we didn’t feel like we had neighbors. Stefano was very friendly and helpful.

We were saying there in May, when the temperature during the day is tolerable and at night cools down slightly. However, at night it was already too warm. While there was an airconditioning we chose to open the window instead, which was quite noisy. But of course this was our decision, when you close the window you can’t hear the road.

Beautiful spacious room, lovely style, huge bathroom, excellent price. Booked last minute on the day and within the hour I had been welcomed by host who was extremely helpful, provided dinner recommendations, lent me a phone charger and left fresh pastries outside room for breakfast. Little communal kitchenette next door to room with coffee making facilities. Very comfortable bed, it was honestly perfect, wish I needed the room for longer.

Great value for price. Super friendly folks and a nice, small property with just three units. We felt very secure with multiple locked doors to get into the place. A small kitchen is available for guests with a microwave, kettle, sink and more. Good location close to the TrenItalia Pompei station and about a 10 minute walk to the Piazza Antiteatro entrance to the ruins and a 20 minute walk to the Porta Marina entrance and the Pompei Scavi train station. Restaurants and the main piazza are all within a 10 minute walk. The space itself is nicely decorated and well set up and we felt it was very sufficient. We stayed in the double room with garden view (202) and the superior king (201). Unless a balcony is important to you, we preferred the superior as it was a tad bigger and more sheltered from road noise. Both are lovely though.

If you're a lover of AC or putting on the fan high so that you don't hear your partner snoring, note that the AC is on/off only with a fixed temperature (fluctuated between 22 and 24 for us) and with a low fan speed. It was in the mid-20s during our first day there and we were definitely too hot at night. Subsequent nights were cooler though so it was less of an issue. The place is on a secondary road so it is frequented by traffic. But we didn't find it that disruptive and, relative to other parts of Pompei (traffic is noisy everywhere) we didn't find it that bad at all.

A beautifully presented villa, only at most a ten minute walk from the train station and a few minutes more for the entrance to the ruins. What makes this special is having access to a small kitchen that houses a fridge / microwave and hot drinks facilities with the coffee and tea provided. The hosts were very friendly and pleasant.

The room (201) was a little dark. You can hear the traffic from the road at peak times, that's only because the italians love to use their horns all the time 🤣

Stefano was an amazing host! He brought beautiful cornettos for breakfast ~ the coffee was delicious from the Dolce Gusto machine. Access to the little kitchen was a bonus. Stefano helped us find everything we needed in Pompei. Loved the decor and the room and bed was so comfortable, clean and roomy. The bathroom was all new and modern and the water temperature was perfect. The yard outside was perfect too. Beautiful white and black with outdoor seating and pomergranite trees. Close to the rail station, restaurant & ruins. We would definately stay here again. Thank you. :)

Excellent service, helpful staff/ owner with tips and information, good breakfast/ coffee facilities, great location, very clean room and toilet, well maintained and beautiful place, safe.

Heating could be better. Also you had to wait for the hot water and the temperature kept changing periodically from hot to cold to hot. You needed to adjust accordingly.

Stefano, the owner, is fantastic. Helpful, kind and informative. There is a little front garden with Pomegranate tree, plus terraces and outdoor seating. The property is a short stroll to the Pompeii ruins and to the town centre with a great choice of restaurants, cafes, shops and train stations.
