Excellent hotel with clean and comfortable rooms (great beds) and very friendly staff and owners. We loved the freshly baked cookies and the very nice linens! We are very grateful that they drive us to the train station when we asked then you call us a cab and we appreciated the extra hour for checkout.

Nothing-I am not a motel fan but the four of us thought the 2 bedroom apartment was great. We didn’t mind the 20 min walk to town.

Walking distance to town. Right by the main highway but we were at the back and it was far away from the traffic noise. Good facility clean and it was good size for our group. Very accommodating and helpful staff when I had to change the booking. Had enough eating and cooking equipments.

Only minor, it was so hot and no air conditioning. But there were two electric fans.

Bed were very hard compared to what I am use to and like. Lady in the office was amazing and very accommodating since our milk and yogurt was in eatable the next morning as the fridge was turned off on our arrival which we didn’t notice as we didn’t get to the till very late due to road detour. As only supplied 1 towel for me and my husband.

We were greeted in a warm & friendly manner when we checked in. Once we were settled in, we were thrilled with the cleanliness of the whole unit; particularly the bathroom & toilet. We wanted to check out later than the usual time of 10:00am & found them to be very accommodating to our needs.

There was no coffee table or side table/s in the lounge area & although the bed was extremely comfortable, it would have been nicer that it didn't face' on to the kitchen area. Perhaps a pull-out sofa bed in the lounge; that way the guest could watch TV in bed

Brilliant! Very spacious unit, and very comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and has really nice linen. There were lots of towels and a heated towel rail, which we really appreciated.

If I would recommend anything it would only be to have a shelf or some sort of unit in the bathroom for storage

We booked two rooms for our stay and they were both extremely well presented and clean. The beds were very comfortable. Being a motel the rooms are small but these rooms were really well equipped. Both our bathrooms were disabled friendly also so an excellent choice should that be required.

Immaculate and spacious for motel room. Larger bathroom. Kitchen worked well (did not have oven) and dishes and cookware of a good standard. Bed was wonderfully comfortable. Daily tidy up a bonus!

Parking is adequate but one must be very careful about entry and exit. Cars may not get to be close to rooms in the corner.

Very comfortable and spotlessly clean. So helpful to have a small kitchen set up, with toaster, microwave etc Handy to restaurants and grocery store. Very helpful checkin process and local inform provided. Would highly recommend and stay there again

Very friendly, like staying over at family. We stayed in a studio with 4 bedrooms. Everything we needed was there, very comfy beds, 2 toilets, fully equipped kitchen. Just outside of town center, 30 minutes to Hokitika, will definitely recommend.

We had the unit for disabled. The shower was walk in but we found the floor surface was very slippery and felt not suitable for disabled or elderly Ok
