This hotel has its own style and way of eco-friendliness. For instanced they don’t clean your room during your multi-day stay unless you ask for it. And they have a peculiar way of how one handles the light switches in the room. But it has also a style of linger and slight luxury. For instance the double bed we had was quite oversized and still there was plenty of space available for three chairs, a desk and a wardrobe/closet in the room. During the evening there was quite some noise outside that wasn’t muffled by the windows, as well as from the corridor. During the night we had no problem with sleeping however. The location, the possibility of parking your car in their garage as well as the original decorations make this a good choice for exploring Leuven and the Hageland.

The hotel has a good bar, but the breakfast is slightly overprized as they offer not a lot of specials. The hotel is from a German organization which you reckon by the carpet on the floor of the room, which is unfortunately a bit stale. Room was relatively warm, but we didn’t dare to open a window due to noise on the street. The hotel is in the middle of the city at the end of a busy street with lots of eateries (I wouldn’t call them restaurants).

So central and handy for visiting centre of Leuven. The hotel has underground dedicated parking for cars and lock up for our bicycles - we were on a cycle tour of Belgium and also not far from the station to take bikes on train to other parts of Belgium if not cycling to Brussels but want to cycle once there..we had to get back to Bruges having started from there ..helpful friendly staff

Only the usual thing! We want enough strong Breakfast tea not herbal tea on the hotel room tea tray selection in the room! But staff happily gave us the right sort of tea for our early morning cuppa..( we hadn't packed enough of the teabags we like in our bicycle panniers!)

The location was amazing! The staff was reslly helpful. The water was free all day&night and there were two types of them offered, the one with the lemons tasted really good. The lobby part as well as the room was very well decorated. The bed was huge and i absolutely loved the size of it! The desk and its chair were too comfortable to work, we really wanted to take the wheeled chair with us 😬 I also liked the lighting system in the room very much.

Nothing. I only have a few notes but they are very subjective and small details. The sink in the toilet was not functioning well when you use soap, foam, etc. And it was the same both in our room as well as my parents’ room. I know it’s a green hotel and i support it. However, we stayed 5 nights and our sheets could have been changed just once, i mean it would be better if they changed them just even one time. Beds were really cool, just i’d prefer a harder matress.

The Pentahotel is excellently located in the center of Leuven. It has parking in a garage, which is a bit difficult to find. The rooms are clean, and the beds are comfortable. The staff was very friendly although multi-tasking, looking simultaneously after the reception and the bar. Breakfast offered everything you could wish for, however, we didn't find the orange juice until we had already left the breakfast room.

We liked everything, so the two comments are suggestions for improvement. We would (1) recommend sending guests a map of the entrance to the hotel and the parking garage in advance. We were somewhat perplexed with our car in the pedestrian zone and had to first ask for directions to the hotel and then ask the reception how to get to the garage... and (2) give the juices a more central place in the breakfast buffet area.

Great location, comfy room. Great shower. Friendly staff. Free beer each day you define housekeeping.

Sometimes it was a little noisy at night (noise from the corridor). Fridge in hotel room didn't work

Easy walk from the train station and very close to main square and the restaurant streets. Staff very helpful and informative. Our room was quite large and had a fridge - water dispenser at the lift entrance (best arrangement re water we had on our holiday) with carafes you could fill and take to your room. On check in given a token for a half price drink in the bar. Breakfast very good (no cooked food) - a lot of fruit, veg, cheeses and meats. Very good value for 1 night.

Nothing - it was fine

The hotel has a modern, relaxed vibe, and the location is ideal for exploring Leuven on foot, with restaurants, shops, and the historic center all close by. There’s also very secure bike parking in a locked cage in the garage, which was great for peace of mind while cycling. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, a pleasant stay and a solid option if you’re visiting Leuven, especially if you’re traveling with bikes.

This has been my absolute favorite hotel I have ever stayed at! I love the free reusable bottles for filtered water, the gym was exceptional, and the breakfasts were delicious and filling! The staff was always fantastic whenever I needed anything, even if it was something not related to the hotel. Coming from the US, I was somewhat afraid of not being able to speak Dutch and French, but the hotel staff were patient, English speaking, and welcoming. This hotel was close to so many restaurants and bars that it would be impossible to not find food. On top of that, they serve food as well! Loved the free pool table and super comfy atmosphere. 10/10, if not higher.

The ONLY things that weren't absolutely perfect were trying to drive/park in this area, and the nights were sometimes too loud to sleep, but neither of those things are the hotel's fault! Being surrounded by students and bars, one should expect such things.

love the vibe of the place and the location. the staff were friendly and, helpful and fun. They were super helpful in organising a surprise bottle.of wine and note for my brother as we were there to celebrate his birthday.

I think the toiletries in the bathroom could have been better like shower caps would have been a good addition. and better size options of towels like having a large bath sheet would have been good. Our bathroom did have a drain issue however they fixed this immediately after reporting it.

The staff is really what makes a place great. Always friendly and helpful. I love the location of the site, and the breakfasts are sufficient in options.

Rooms are comfortable and clean, though I do wish the cleaning staff would replace coffees more often. The hotel offers a "green program" but the cleaning staff often forgets to refill the coffees and teas. Biggest complaint is the wireless. While this is vastly improved from previous trips, I would prefer to have dedicated bandwidth by paying a little extra. This would be ideal for those of us on business travel.
