Great family room with a separate room with the bunk bed for the children; lovely view over the vineyard to the Rhine; a private terrace; very good breakfast with generous hours; nice walks directly from the hotel (including to the rack and pinion railway to Drachenfels); a private football field

Very heavy, self-closing doors (for fire protection), very difficult with small children and a risk to their hands. A more generous play area indoors and a playground outdoors would make the hotel even more attractive for families. There’s not much infrastructure for a four-star hotel; fridges only on request, no swimming pool.

The location is stunning. The hotel is clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is awesome.

We liked everything. It's a way from the town but we would walk down to the town to connect with buses, trams,trains and get a taxi back to the hotel at the end of our day out.

Lovely area with woodland walks and fantastic views. Most staff were really nice and helpful. Brilliant breakfast choices, also many vegan options and even homemade jams...yummmmm!! Thick, luxurious snow-white towels. Pure cotton white bedsheets. The heating worked well in the room and was adjustable. We were able to borrow a mini fridge. Great view from our bedroom. Spacious room. Comfortable mattresses.

At the time of going into our room, there were no pillow cases on the pillows. We were later given extra pillows though 😊 some of the pillow cases were threadbare and they easily slip off while in use. I didn't like the large bright lights left on in the hallway at all times. I found the lights in the dining area also too bright...(tired eyes) No one told us at check-in, that the dog is not allowed in the dining room, or that you have to lock the room with a key, it doesn't lock itself just by closing the door from the outside. However, we could take the breakfast upstairs on a tray and sit there to eat with the dog, so that was ok. Echoing hallways. Very heavy fire-doors.

Very pleased with our stay at this hotel. Very friendly (also speaking a very good English!) staff, an excellent location and a spectacular view. The breakfast was very good, and the parking was very convenient.

The restaurant service was excellent, however, there were only pizza and Flammkuchen available, probably, because it was Sunday evening. The Flammkuchen were apparently defrosted (but still quite a nice snack).

Lovely clean spacious room .Breakfast was awesome. All tastes catered for. Beautiful views and walks within the grounds. Fantastic place well worth the visit. Now looking at other Jufa hotels.

Beautiful location, forest around the hotel where we walked a lot, nice view. Amazing place.

Room without a conditioner, unfortunately. In summer season too hot in the room.

Room was nice and the breakfast was excellent Staff were very friendly and helpfull.

Check in is at 1600 but our room wasnt ready till 1630. The room itself was clean but the hallways were a bit dirty.

- quite a small room for two adults and two kids - for two nights OK, longer stay would be complicated - toilet is a separated room opposite of the shower - waiters during breakfast shift looked and behaved a bit sleepy :-) - noisy afterparty after a wedding event (elsewhere) late at night (1am) in front of the hotel - but as there was nobody during the night, I had to solve it by myself

The location is beautiful, the staff is very welcoming. There're spacious family rooms for a fair price. They are clean and well-equipped. The beds are comfortable. The breakfast is perfect. There's a playing room for children in the main building. I highly recommend this place.
