Above all, this is a great location. This was my second stay at aparthotel Flotra, I styes here for a week last year. It is a very good aelf cagtering hotyel of it's type, location os particulalryt excellent-10 minutes walk from the bus stop (straight to and from the transport centre in Palma for about E6 each way, then a E5 bus from there to the airport, so you can easily save E100 each way on an airport taxi). 5 minutes walk from the Pine Walk and beach, 6 or 7 minutes walk into the town centre, plenty of supermarkets. The best by far is the large Eroski which is about 15 minutes walk from the apartment on the roundabout with the statue of the yellow and red float plane, they have a first class fresh fish stall- if you plan to cook in your aprtment than don't leave it until the end of your break before checking this out. There was anough space, good fridge, furnniture and 2 hob cooker plus toaster, kettle and microwave. Cleaning was offered 3 times a week, there is a swimin pool and loungers and a decent looking bar/.restautant with large screen TV for sports. I intended to hire a bicycle, there were plenty of places to hire all kinds of bikes including electrics, road bikes and kid's bikes. I hired a decent hybrid/city bike from ProAm cycles, literally across the road from the hotel, and paid E44 for 4 days which I thought a very fair deal. There is some nice cycling for all fitness levels, I am overweight and unfit but had a good time cycling along the coast road towards Alcudia and in the maze of little country roads between Puerto Pollenca, Pollenca and Alcudia. Many cycle routes and traffic not too bad. If you are fit and tough, there are some more challenging and well marked cycle routes incuding mountains.

One small grumble was there was no salt or pepper in the kitchen, and no scourer to do washing up. I bought these for a few Euros in local supermarkets and left them behind me. I meant to bring a bit of salt, pepper and mustard but forgot. Not a big deal. Also no chopping board, not even a bread board.

Location was perfect with a short stroll to the beach and main promenade. There is a Spar shop directly across the road which is very handy and a bigger supermarket within 10minutes walk also. It was quiet in the hotel most of the time and altogether a lovely stay during our holiday. We travelled with a 2 year old and they loved the swimming pool area. The balcony’s were safe with little chance for climbing for toddlers once the chairs are brought inside. Staff were very nice, the hotel was clean and rooms cleaned regularly. The beds are firm and nice for sleeping on if you prefer a firm bed so we had lovely sleeps aswell during the holiday.

Very little we didn’t like but if you prefer a stay with the most modern fittings and furniture then this won’t provide it. It is a typical holiday apartment and the furniture prob hasn’t been updated in a while but it suited us perfectly and we liked the simplicity of it for a holiday.

Perfect location close to the beach bars and restaurants… couldn’t be better

The only thing I could fault was the breakfast we decided to have it in n the last morning as we had an early start but it was very disappointing food was cold and the juices lacked flavour

Small hotel which meant cosy and friendly. Location perfect for beach shops and restaurants. Apartments close to pool so you could sit out with your own drinks and food or, short walk to bar. Lifeguard Pablo was great with kids, providing some ball games and fun with them, this is a great help to allow parents to have 5 minutes. A little gem of a place

Apartments have thin walls and beds very creaky and in need of an update sadly however, this would not put us off going back again!!!

Lovely pool, close to the beach, restaurants and the Pine Walk. My husband left his wallet when we flew back to the UK and the hotel sent an email and posted the wallet back to the UK for us, they didn’t have to do that and it was so helpful! The kids love this hotel and keep asking to come back year after year.

The beds were a little hard and it would be nice to have the option of a double bed instead of having to push 2 singles together

Excellent location, in the heart of everything and just a couple of minutes to the beach, very clean and really helpful reception staff.

Although extremely clean the apartment could do with a makeover.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect, right near good restaurants, and close to the beach. The hotel was clean and attractive. For a 3-star hotel the Aparthotel Flora had a lot of facilities; baggage room, bar, entertainment, even a small library.

I enjoyed sitting by the pool but didn't go in because of the depths of the pool. One section was knee height so too shallow to swim in, the other main section was 1.5m to 1.9m so I wouldn't be able to stand on the bottom with my head out of the water. The two sections were connected but the bottom did not appear to slope - more of a 'drop-off' so there was nowhere I would be comfortable.

We've had an amazing time on our holiday at Apartamentos Flora. It's very central, just 100 metres from the beach and restaurants. It's very quiet and family-friendly. Above all, the staff are very friendly. Everything is very clean, they are very attentive and hardworking. The pool is great and very clean. The restaurant is also very good, serving pizzas and homemade food. On Friday nights, there's a show with a very good singer. In short, we've had a fantastic stay and highly recommend it. If we return to Port de Pollença, we'll definitely stay there again.

Great location, just one block back from the beach. Very quiet at night. Friendly and helpful staff. Lots of sunbeds, clean pool. Nice little restaurant and bar area. Spar shop opposite for essentials. Large EuroSki supermarket and Lidl also close (by bus or car) for larger shopping.

Our apartment was fully functional with a nice pool view (H block) but it was a little dated. But everything worked absolutely fine. The beds, although very comfortable were extremely squeaky when turning over in the night (metal frames). But nonetheless, we slept well.

Location is perfect, 5 minute stroll to beach and right in the centre of PPollensa. The room and kitchenette etc were again perfect for us. The staff could not have been more lovely and more helpful both before arrival on email and whilst at the resort. Lots of smiles, have the knowledge when asked questions and always on hand to help and happy to do so. We will definitely come back to stay again.

An oven would have been useful but it does have a hob and microwave. As expected some of the facilities are not as varied as some of the newer hotels and the sunbeds can get a little sparse around the pool but it had everything we needed so we had no issues.
