We LOVED the location beyond words. Fantastic staff and easy affordable accommodation with views that have the wow factor.

The beds were really uncomfortable- they were perfectly fine for one night and at the cost to stay where we did - I feel awful writing it - but they weren't comfy. Also the toilet door next to.our room was opening and closing throughout the night which disrupted our sleep. Again I feel awful even writing any dislikes as it really is good value for the location and surroundings.

This was our first stay with YHA, and we definitely will be coming back! YHA Boscastle was absolutely spectacular—10/10 all around. Booking was super easy and gave us confidence we were in for a great time. The hostel was spotless and well-maintained, which made our stay even more comfortable. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, the views were breathtaking, and even the weather was fabulous. Everything about our visit exceeded expectations!

We had a great stay at this hostel! The location is perfect for hikers on the SWCP, and I loved the sea view from our room – truly a highlight. The staff were incredibly friendly and flexible, always happy to help with anything. The kitchen was well-equipped and made cooking super easy. Everything was exceptionally clean. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay!

Excellent location and had the whole place to ourselves. Boscastle was beautiful too

We were warned and knew about it before we got there, but there is no carpark at the Hostel, we had to park up the road in the village - which wasn't a drama as the carpark is opposite a nice pub with good food and cold beer!

Good value for money with all the necessities needed for a quick getaway in the area. Very quiet and clean property.

The lock in our Room(4) sometimes not working, sometimes you thought it's lock already from the inside but can still be open from the outside even without the key. For sure this will be sorted out by the management.

Such a beautiful location! Right by the river as it flows into the harbor. Gorgeous. Super helpful and friendly staff. Clean and spacious kitchen, dining, and game room. Fantastic experience.

There were no negatives. We loved it.

Other people used the washrooms and didn’t flush and everytime we need to flush. Mob or cleaner need to be at washrooms so someone uses the bathroom and left water on the floor can be cleaned by themselves

From location to staff, facilities provided it was excellent. The staff were very helpful and kind. The property is beautifully set up with an enormous living room. The kitchen had everything you would need . You could even buy tea ,coffee and sugar at very low cost if you don't have your own. I would definitely book again if I am to visit Boscastle again.

It is up to evey individual how they behave. Although the property was clean but visitors sometime left their mess in the kitchen which was not nice. We can build a positive and clean environment by being a little more responsible.

Linda was the perfect host: kind, helpful, informative and genuinely LOVELY! Thank you for making us feel so warmly welcomed and for looking after us with such kindness. We loved the outside tap and space to clean and collapse our double kayak. We loved the drying space and safe/easy access. The kitchen, living room and eating space set up is exceptional - utter luxury and spotless. Hot showers were a bonus treat. We had a great night's sleep despite the wild storm outside. The setting on the waterside of a small village fishing harbour with an unusual secluded natural cliff entrance and beautifully crafted breakwaters is truly beautiful.

Zero - YHA fan since my teens and this hostel is now one of our favourites.

Absolutely stunning location by the river. We enjoyed seeing the tide making the river water levels go up and down. 15min walk to the seaside, amazing views from the cliffs. Quiet but very close to all local amenities. Special thanks to super friendly staff who made us feel welcome and comfortable.
