We loved the amazing location, a stones throw from an idyllic swimming inlet and two swimming pools. The road down to Varadouro is beautiful, a twisting road lined with flowers. The property was simplistic and rustic but comfortable. The breakfast was continental style. Bread rolls, local jams, cheese, ham, juice, coffee. Simple but very nice and plentiful. The rooms were cleaned daily. The price was amazing.

There was no air conditioning, which meant that it was hot at night. However, one of the rooms included an electric fan.

Very good position in Fajal island, next some natural pools reachable by foot in 2 minutes and at 20 minutes driving from Horta and other interest points. Breakfast with not so much variety but still appreciated.

Adding a common washing machine for laundry could be a very good plus.

The location close to the beach and the rich and nice breakfast. The kindness of the owner who gave us a lot of information about the island and was very committed to meeting our needs

We arrived and they gave us a room downstairs with a bit too much humidity and the very next day they sent us upstairs to a better room. Laundry service available Amazing location

Great peaceful location to have a real rest, we enjoyed the stay. Faial is a magical small island. 🙂

Very clean and tidy, just in front of some natural pools. The nearby restaurants in the village were closed by some reason the day we arrived, but the staff gave us a ride for free to the nearest restaurant! Extremely helpful 😄

We are a couple, however we got two separate beds

The place has a great location next to the coast and few dining places of the village. Great views, clean rooms.

The breakfast buffet was very simple with completely cold coffee. I don’t know if they were trying to save on electricity, but a shame to do on that.

We had a very nice stay at Residencias Varadouro. The location is extremely beautiful, though it’s a bit difficult to reach if you don’t have a car (need a taxi to move). The staff has been extremely helpful and friendly- they even gave us a lift to the ATM because we were out of cash. You can have an amazing view of the stars at night. There are some restaurants and bars around where you can dine or have a drink. The natural pools are nice and clean: there are lifeguards wc and showers in case you need them. You can reach by foot Porto do Comprido which is a very nice spot for swimming in the natural pools and see the volcano Copelinhos.

The bed was pretty uncomfortable

The place was really nice. The owner waited for us until we arrived and was really kind.

The only thing was poor breakfast, bad coffee. And better don’t ask for breakfast for take away.
