Location was incredible! Our room faced the water , huge (balcony-type window)and the view was incredible. We had 2 queen beds, a kitchenette for all you could want including a microwave. Ironing board and iron which I really appreciate when traveling for 3 weeks. A store for needs 2 doors down. Peter cafe a feet away! Large closets ( we didn’t use as we only stayed 2 nights). Everything we could want in a location. Walkable to dinner every night, old parts of the town to explore, the beach if desired. We rented a car to see the other parts of the beautiful island of Faial.

We appreciated the warm welcome and easy check in, with keyless building and room access. The rooms look out over the harbor, and the hotel could not be in a nicer spot. Free parking was plentiful, and there is a lot behind the hotel as well. Nereida is perfect for self catering. You have a kitchenette in the room, plus a fully equipped kitchen in the common room. So you can cook a bigger meal in there if you want. It is also close to several good restaurants and a market. We would recommend it to anyone for sure.

The seat of one of the chairs in our room was a little loose and wobbly. If you have mobility issues the lack of an elevator would be a problem.

We were staying at the Suite on the top floor and everything was perfect. The flat was absolutely clean and everything seemed very new. The Suite is accessible from the back of the building so you can actually park you car behind and use a private entrance, avoiding the stairs in the building with your luggage. Denise was so friendly and helpful with everything. The views on the harbour and Pico from the balcony are spectacular. Peter's Sports Bar is just next door.

Beautiful views of the marina and Pico. Located right in the centre of Horta, less than 1 min walk to Peter 's café sport. The air conditioning worked very well which was really good, otherwise it would have been unbearable during such extremely hot days!

Some items like the window blinds or the shower head were a bit worn out and in need of maintenance, but still totally functional. Besides, nothing essential was missing.

Perfect location in Horta, in front of the harbor. Large room with a king size bed (room Calypso) and very well equipped: kitchen, AC, TV,… On bottom floor you have a large kitchen + salon, where you can prepare meal and gather with your family. Everything is perfectly clean and well functioning The young lady at the reception is fantastic and so helpful. She is a great support and so service oriented.

Cars in the street make noice if you keep the windows open…but you can close the window and put on the air conditioning for the night.

It was an amazing place with a great view and the hotel was clean and nice to stay upto 4 beds but we were only 3 ppl and it was equipped with everything we needed like for the kitchen, we had oven, microwave oven, stove, cups, plates dining area, etc. More than expected. Nice shower area as well. Really loved the whole vibe around me. The açores islands are amazing and worth a visit.

We had the family room with four bunk beds for one night. The appartment was very clean and functionnal even if not very big. The situation is top because you are in front of Horta's harbor and Pico's view and it is quiet because of a good sound insulation from the street. You have a common place where you can rest and cook but we didn't use it. Denise welcomed us very nicely. All was good !

We were only in Horta for 2 days but the location of Nereida was perfect. The hotel is centrally located to the marina, Peter’s Sport Cafe’, restaurants and shopping. We were privileged to be there on a Portuguese holiday where a band played beneath our window. It was a lovely stay.

Great location right in the heart of the harbour. Beautifully clean room with all appliances new and well maintained. A small kitchen, very well equipped, water, tea and coffee etc and a basket of fruit. Very big comfy bed with nice bedding. Compact shower room with lots of towels. A bit of road noise from the cobbled streets but you can close the windows and the double glazing is efficient and the air con works well
