Well located in a wonderful island Newly renovated with premium design material and comfort Nice welcoming by the owner and his family Full flexibility - we asked for a late check out and they did what they could to help us

In a well furnished and well designed room (we did not use the kitchen but it was very well equipped) I would suggest the owner to put more furniture in the restroom. There were no space to locate beauty cases and bath accessories… there was plenty of space available, so a pity no to have it But apart from this, great place!

Everything is brand new and in excellent condition. The place is spotlessly clean and you can see the dedication of the owners to this property. Spectacular views from balconies on Pico Island. Breakfast was sufficient maybe a slice of tomato would be good.

If you want to cook a bigger knife in the room for cutting things. A capsule coffee machine would make the room complete as the coffee machine in the breakfast was not to my taste:)this is minor and i can only applaud the owners for the great place they created. We will be back if we visit Horta again.10 out of 10 and well deserved!

Very large room, very comfy beds, amazing view on Pico Mountain. The place looks like it was renovated very recently and all the equipment is very modern. There is AC in the room which is nice on hot days, and there is also an elevator which is nice when you have heavy luggage. Not too much noise in the room despite the room being on the street side. Plenty of free parking nearby. We only wish we had stayed there longer!

Breakfast was ok but not as good as we would have expected given how nice the rest of the hotel is.

I couldn't be happier with my stay at Horta Bay! The staff were all friendly and helpful. My room and the common areas were cleanly, comfortable and inviting. The morning breakfast was delicious offering hot/cold food with a spectacular view of Pico. There are many restaurant's, stores, bakeries and sights to see within walking distance. As well as the ferry to Pico.

We stayed for the first few nights of our Honeymoon. The team went above and beyond to decorate our room and ensure our stay was top notch. Breakfast was fantastic and the location was perfect. The views over Pico are amazing and the place was clean and crisp.

Everything was fantastic but if one thing could have been better it would be the pillows. We prefer feather pillows.

Horta Bay is an excellent hotel. An easy 13 minute walk from the ferry terminal on flat ground using the lovely harbor front promenade. It is a minutes walk to many fine restaurants including Peter’s Cafe and a bakery right next door. They serve a very adequate breakfast to start your day. Get a room with a harbor view. Inn keepers were very kind and helpful.

We appreciated the great location – perfect for exploring Horta. The check-in was friendly and everything was very easy and straightforward.

One small thing: the duvet was only covered by a sheet underneath, without a full cover, which felt a bit unusual to us.

Location and it is very nicely renovated, and clean.

Warm water takes 15 minutes to come. The pillows have a bit of smell probably due to high humidity but it was not pleasant to have this smell in the bed. I don’t recommend breakfast.

Spacious and super clean room and bathroom. Small kitchen equipped with enough appliances. The location is great. Staff is helpful and nice

There was some noise from outside coming in to the room. Breakfast could be more varied with local food options

Stayed in Horta Bay for 1 night. Definitely can recommend this modern hotel which is perfectly located on the first line to the ocean and with an incredible view on Pico. The room is well equipped, everything is crystal clean. Breakfast was very delicious.
