The most stunning design of the hotel, our room was 200%exceptional. One of the most excuisite rooms I have stayed in. Spacious, and with most tasteful decor and art pieces. Inviting and invigorating tones. Real thought and style went into making it . And the balcony was just massive and huge. The room was my favorite thing about our stay. I did not want to leave the room.. As a matter of fact, I would go back for the room... Stunning. I loved breakfast... Because mimosas of course. That was a lovely touch. Amazing. The incredible staff let us check out late. Thank you.

The dinner, very very very mediocre for that level of hotel. Absolutely borderline unexptable level of food and pairings. It was a complex bore and did not highlight the price or the exclusiveness of the hotel. It's The Waldorf... We expect way better. Very disappointing as we checked in late were expecting dinner to be amazing. Terrible

Beautiful property with a kid friendly activities and private beach. Very friendly and helpful staff and great buffet breakfast along with restaurant choices.

Only one small item to mention is that there are a lot of people after 9 am at breakfast which creates long wait times at popular stations like eggs, pancakes, etc. Better to go as early as possible.

The hotel is enormous and truly palatial in design. The decor is absolutely stunning, and I would rate it a full 10/10 on that alone. The grandeur and aesthetics make a lasting impression. However, the service falls well below expectations. The front office staff, in particular, require better supervision and training. Calls often go unanswered, and I had to dial two or three times to get a response. The staff lacks professionalism and attentiveness, which detracts significantly from the overall experience. The breakfast buffet offers a wide selection, but again, there’s a lack of oversight. On two occasions, the same items were served lukewarm, which should not happen in a hotel of this caliber. The room was very spacious, well-equipped with all necessary amenities, and featured a large terrace — spacious enough to host a small gathering. Housekeeping was excellent, consistently following up for turndown service and maintaining high standards. One major disappointment was the extra charge for high-speed internet. In a five-star-plus property, complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi should be standard. Despite some service shortcomings, the hotel remains a top destination in the UAE, offering extensive amenities and experiences for guests of all ages.

We travelled to RAK to do the Zipline and so we requested late check out because the trip from the hotel to the location would take 1.5 hours approx per trip. Which means we lose 3 hours, not to mention the time actually doing the zip line adventure will take. We checked in late at 6 PM and if we were to check out as per the standard 12 PM check out time, it would have a big loss because we wouldn't have enjoyed anything at the hotel. Upon check in, the Front Desk staff (Mary) gave us late check out till 2 PM and asked us to check again and confirm the next morning. Upon checking in the morning and explaining the situation, the Frond Desk extended till 4 PM. That was the best thing ever throughout all my other hotel stays. The late check out made a huge difference and enabled us to enjoy dinner at the hotel, go to the zipline adventure, come back for breakfast and even use the swimming pool. It was really an exceptional experience. Even after check out and while we are leaving the hotel, The gentleman at the entrance (I think Bassam or Hussam, sorry can't remember the name!) When I said to him that I would love to try some Arabic coffee, he so kindly went back in and got me a delicious cup of coffee to help me stay awake and fresh for my trip all the way back to Abu Dhabi. These people really made a difference and it will be an unforgettable stay indeed in all, but particularly for these sweet personal gestures of the staff. Thank you very much indeed!

Beautiful resort everything was to a high standard. Loved the room renovations the 2 bed family room was excellent and generously sized. Kids club was great kids were happy to go there daily. Buffet was lovely nice choice and good quality. Staff very friendly and happy to see you. Dinner at Lexington and Uni was great.

They forgot one of my daughters birthday. Every other resort we have been to during this time there would have been a cake in room. And during Xmas period usually there are daily treats in the room when you come back which is always nice and they didn’t do anything. Need more music around the pool area it seemed quite dull in the day unless you were at the adult pool which we couldn’t go to as we have children.

Very well appreciated

the hotel is really nice, the staff is very kind, helpful and looking to help you anytime. the food is amazing (Azure restaurant is really top) and the buffet, even if really small, has a taste of unique and we enjoyed a lot. the room was amazing, really big and comfortable for a family.

even if the room was fantastic, the humidity inside was really bad. we slept in wet beds and the small of the sheets were horrible. the kid's club is far away from the pool and the entrance and there is no way to reach it from the reception or other entrance. during the summer it's a bit complicated to reach it with kids because of the heat.

The beach was not what I expected. You have to go far enough to swim.

Our recent three-night stay at Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah was absolutely delightful for our family of four, along with our nanny. From the warm welcome to the thoughtful touches throughout our stay, everything was perfectly handled. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the friendly staff, Sarah, who made check-in a breeze. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, providing more than enough room for us to relax comfortably. The kids loved the cozy beds and the array of amenities that catered to their needs. A special shout-out to Sarah, who went above and beyond to make our stay even more memorable. She personally walked us to the children’s pool/play area, ensuring we knew the best spots and facilities. Her friendly demeanor and helpfulness truly made a difference and added a personal touch to our stay. We also want to give special recognition to Sanoop and RC, who made our little one feel like a VIP during breakfast and dinner at Qasr Al Bahar and pretty much throughout our stay. Their attentive and playful interactions truly brightened our child's experience and added an extra layer of fun to our trip. One of the highlights was the hotel’s pool area. It was well-maintained and designed with families in mind. There were plenty of comfortable loungers and umbrellas, and the pool itself was a hit with everyone, especially the kids. The thoughtful gesture of providing free cold water bottles is also a standout feature. It was such a welcome delight to have refreshing water readily available during these 40°C+ days, and it made our time by the pool even more enjoyable. Overall, our experience at Waldorf Astoria RAK was fantastic. The attentive service from all staff, comfortable accommodations, and excellent amenities made it a memorable stay. We highly recommend this hotel to any family looking for a delightful and stress-free getaway!

The hotel is very spacious as was our Queen Deluxe Room. Didn't feel over crowded. Everyone in all sections were polite and helpful. Lexington restaurant was fabulous, staff very efficient. Wonderful service at the Sunset pool bar. My belated birthday celebration was fantastic at this hotel.

Didn't realise that instead of hanging a card on the door for housekeeping it's now operated by switch. Perhaps a mention on check-in would have helped. Other than that no complaints.
