Breakfast/not applicable. The room was nicely fitted out with tea, coffee, toaster, microwave cups plates and cutlery for two. We paid a little bit extra for a room with sea and River views, which were very nice as was the little balcony with table and chairs

The room doesn’t have a wardrobe. Instead it has a row of hooks on the wall and some coathangers in the cupboard. We were a quick overnight stay so it didn’t matter – but I wouldn’t like to try to store and organise my clothes for a few days with such limited facilities.I don’t particularly like the straw/string decor, not that it’s a real problem. This is a general comment for practically every motel I have stayed in. I don’t like bedspreads, cushions, throws, blankets and the like that have been used by other guests. The first thing I do is put them in a cupboard or something. I really dislike cushions on the bed where I’m going to sleep that I suspect have not been washed since the last guest. This motel had one of those – a pillow covered in macramé. I quickly got rid of it.

Perfect location, cracking view, and rooms are beautiful. New furnishings, looks great, and has everything you need with plenty of room.

Personal preference but although seemed new and ‘comfortable’ in the normal sense, the mattresses were way too soft for me and wife. Im sure others will like that but was bad for us. Only a small issue was although everything else looks well planned and new, not sure why they didn’t finish a screen around entire shower. And whilst understandable so everyone has access to stunning view, there is a lot of communal passage ways past rooms so may not suit people that need total privacy.

The property is absolutely stunning, with a breathtaking view over the Nambucca River toward the V-wall from its hilltop location. The rooms were well-equipped with basic necessities, similar to what you’d expect in a motel, and the beds and linen were very comfortable. The shared kitchen on the pool level was a great feature and was popular with guests, especially on New Year’s Eve. Daily cleaning service was a nice touch, with fresh towels, bathmats (required for the open wet room bathroom) and bins emptied regularly. The beach-boho design added a lovely, relaxed vibe to the space.

The walkway behind the rooms meant there was regular foot traffic, which might feel less private for some guests. I thought maybe a few personal touch’s like a lamp and cushions in the lounge room would really elevate the space to be more comfortable. But overall the space was beautifully curated in a beach boho theme. Our bar fridge had a strange smell and could do with a small pot of bicarb soda to eliminate the smell.

My deluxe queen room (17) was private and quiet with a view overlooking the river and ocean. There was a small table and two chairs and a small lounge in the room and still plenty of room for luggage and for moving around. I loved the double opening sliding door, with flyscreen opening onto the balcony. There was a small fridge, kettle and toaster, along with bowls, plates and cutlery for 2. There was a great "camp kitchen" near my room which would have been great if I'd wanted to cook. Although I didn't use the pool, it looked very inviting. There was free parking onsite.

Nothing. Everything was great.

This is an excellent hotel in every way. The staff are extremely helpful. During my stay, I had to work remotely from the hotel room in the evenings and although the rooms don't have desks, the manager arranged one for me so I could work more comfortably. My room was equipped with everything needed including a fridge, toaster, kettle, crockery etc. The bed was super comfy. Shower pressure is great. The communal area is well equipped for cooking and is a great place to hang out for a sundowner. Woolworths is across the road. Lots of great cafes and eateries nearby. I loved Wharf St Cafe the best for great food, coffee, and pelican watching! You can walk to the beach or along the river. I had an excellent stay and was supposed to stay for much longer but my situation changed. I will definitely be staying here again when I come back to Nambucca Heads! Top marks for everything!

The rooms have been recently renovated they a small but nicely decorated with a simple clean style we really liked the bathroom was on the small side but again loved the tiles and modern look. The bar fridge worked well in the little kitchenette area . The reception lady was very friendly and provided us with fresh milk and showed us the lift operation and our room . The views are fantastic from every room on the Oceanside. The weather was terrible so unfortunately couldn’t use the pool or any outdoor activity. We were stuck in our room as the sky’s pouring rain up against our sliding doors to the room such a shame as it would be beautiful on a sunny day. The common area with outdoor kitchen and seating looked great to again just not possible for us to use in the storm. We loved the clean simple design of the rooms for an overnight or short stay and we will be back again in the future. Free parking on site and stairs accessible to all levels and a lift available too.

Nothing really, The bed was just a bit soft for me but that’s my personal taste.

The property was clean and on the modern side with comfortable bedding. The views from this place were stunning and definitely the higlight for us. We stayed in a quiet, private corner room, away from foot traffic and people walking past the room on the shared balconies. The host was extremely friendly and helpful, providing us with fresh milk and making check-in easy, giving us great recommendations around the area. Overall, it was a great place to stay overnight passing through - would gladly return!

There are many stairs in the motel to reach your room and a steep hill to the water - But we knew this when booking so not a big deal. Shower floods the bathroom abit when turned on for too long. Too many screaming children running around and doing bombs into the pool splashing water everywhere. Its abit hard to relax in/by the pool when your being splashed every second.

Large, fresh, clean and airy room with lovely views across to the river and sea. Comfy bed, great bathroom and toiletries. Comfy double seat outside to sit on the balcony and enjoy the views. Close to cafes, and amazing RSL was just a very short walk away.

Microwave stored at bottom of cupboard needed to be lifted out onto the bench for use. Would be better just to be left on the bench. We're in our 70s - steep steps to access our level and first two steps down had no grab rail. Noticed a lady on her own struggling to go up. Suggest people be made aware of many steps and for elderly to ask for rooms which can be accessed from the street level.

View was amazing exactly as advertised however the bed was pretty small for a deluxe queen room, but still well padded and felt fairly new. The room had obviously been renovated in a beach feel that was lovely to look at but not very practical. No wardrobe space, to hang clothing, couldn't easily access the rubbish bin as there was a shelf and stool in the way, the shower sprayed all over the bathroom as it was an 'open' design with only a partial screen. The staff were reasonably friendly and did offer to move us to a downstairs room if we chose (because of the stairs, which was really nice of them) but we did want to try out the view.

Lovely but not very practical.

Views from the upper floors. Swimming pool area is small but sunny until 4pm. Location convenient for town centre close by and Woolworths opposite. Close to amenities. Friendly helpful staff. Useful local information provided

Too many sets of various stairs overall ....between our room and the pool and ground floor. Lift only goes down one floor. Lower rooms are quite noisy from noise from the floor above and adjacent rooms. Walls and ceilings are seemingly thin. Upgraded to a higher room at a cost.
