The service was good, the location was awesome and the staff were amazing. Everyone went over and above what was expected of them, from the front desk to the lady at the restaurant (Christina)

1) The pool had mold, 2) There was mold also in the bathroom, 3) There were no gowns or sleepers in the rooms, 4) No backup electricity on site, as a result we couldn’t have filtered coffee for breakfast

Firstly I arrived before checkin ,I was welcomed warmly with my little one .The bartender Mondli was super sweet and attentive even gave my little one some strawberries as a suprise .Had lunch ,thai chicken curry it was delicious ,the food is amazing ,for supper they called to ask we joining them and I had lamb and mash with my daughter ,it was so awesome .The complimentary breakfast was so good I was overwhelmed .The staff are the best thing about this place .My little one had the best time ,hopefully they will have more children menu options .

Its not what I didnt like but would improve the space ,is a modernisation of the furniture .The furniture at the entrance is perfect and that should be aesthetic motif of the whole place .

The rooms were comfortable and clean, the facilities and staff were outstanding. I was just disappointed that the onsite spa was closed when we arrived. You need to book in advance.

The chef was terrible. The first meal I ordered was a medium steak for dinner. It arrived VERY overcooked. It was tasteless and difficult to swallow. The next meal I asked for less chili than stated on the menu, and it arrived with very hot chili mixed in. My stomach was upset for the next 2 days. My husband's Eggs Benedict (which he ordered soft/runny) arrived hard and ice cold. The meals were ridiculous and left us feeling ill.

The room was spacious and they met our request to make rooms next to each other, which worked best as we travelled as a family. Their breakfast is the best & the restaurant offers good lunch and dinner. The location of the hotel is also perfect for a quiet stay and for resting.

The complementary water and bathroom toiletries were not refilled as expected because we stayed for 3 nights yet there was no refill of the water and the toletries were only refilled once.

staff very friendly and very helpful. the room clean and neat with the exceptional view. the price is really good value. experience at the Mapopeng centre was really fun and informative.

would have liked a information pack , even if it was a link for guests to know about the facilities at the hotel and surroundings, that one can review at ones leisure in the room. experience at the Mapopeng would have been even better if the interactive units worked. another pateron had also voiced their disappointment that the restaurant was closed and could not see the view.

The view and the restaurant staff were brilliant. Food was high quality.

Reception staff were not good hosts or welcoming when needing help. They really need some training in making guests feel welcome and when one checks out after the stay. The rooms are old and need an upgrade. The coffee station is not well stocked and has no mugs. The towels were damp when we arrived. The breakfast needs more variety and the dining room needs those fly repellant propellers. Lots of flies.

The room was clean and bathrooms had enough water unlike other places in the surrounding areas, The restaurant staff was excellent and the food served was delicious, We had buffet breakfast on the first day and second day it looked like they have reduced the offering, so it was not consistent to the first day which was disappointing.

The breakfast offering should be the same all the time i.e buffet breakfast or Ala carte

its an odd remark, but all of the toilet seats, in our room and the public toilet, were old, damaged and loose, its small but it did have an impact on the overall experience

The scenery faxt that you feel like you in the middle of nowhere, the food the food was absolutely great!!!! Pool was great ! View from the room was great ! Back up generator was great ! Bed was comfy very comfy.

There was a cockroach 🪳 which appeared on the bed during sex. The sheets were not changed from one day to the next ( I know because the cover had a marking and the same marking was there day 2) The general service from the restaurant was very very slow. Overall I'd still go check it out lovely place 😊

The hotel is beautiful. The amenities are perfect to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The surrounding nature is breathtaking. Food was excellent and the staff go above and beyond to help. I personally would like to thank Jabo who just made our trip that bit more memorable.

I can honestly say that there was not one singe thing that we did not enjoy. Please keep up the incredible service. We will definitely be seeing you the the near future.
