We like Mount Grace and have been frequent visitors over many years and through many management changes. The staff are excellent..They are friendly and fast and efficient. The facilities are good..and the location is beautiful but there is a serious problem with management and maintenance. I like booking one of the suites. It is quite pricey but it comes with privacy and a fireplace and a private pool and incredible bird life. BUT on a previous visit we had to call maintenance to fix the fridge and the fireplace before we could settle down and relax. This time I phoned ahead and asked that they must make sure everything is in working order. So it is really astounding to arrive at a our room to find us unable to open any of the doors onto the verandah to enjoy the beautiful views and birdlife that is the reason we booked this. Again we had to call maintenance and a team arrived and forced the broken doors open. Later we had to phone them again to close the doors. So there literally is maintenance people in and out of our room for 20 minutes each time.. and then we were told that we either had to move or refrain from opening the doors again.. It is beyond ridiculous and I never heard from management. Even though I asked and was reassured that they are made aware of the situation. . Not an apology or a reduction in a price for a room that really did not deliver. It is just not ok.

My 9 year old loved the pool, the bed the buffet dinner and breakfast, and the food in general. I enjoyed the spa, food, pool, environment and privacy to relax also the tea in the rooms

Carpet in our room was dirty and my son with asthma was struggling at night. Change flooring Tv with old channels and only 1 kiddies channel Kiddies are we were told the remites for Playstation didn't have batteries. That was strange cis batteries are not expensive. People pdrunk , Lou and playing music on Saturday afternoon at the pool, that was a nuisance Not knowing there are lots lots of cats, they were always at our balcony and my son is allergic, so that was not nice

I've had to rewrite my review about our recent experience because of how well Mount Grace handled our concerns. While we initially had issues with the TV and internet, their response was professional and efficient. Aside from that, the hotel is amazing—most of the front-line staff are exceptionally well-trained, the food is exquisite, and the setting is breathtaking. My family absolutely loves the pools and spa—truly a fantastic getaway!

We experienced an issue with the TV and internet in our room which was a damper on the weekend but Mount Grace handled it exceptionally well. They took our feedback like true professionals, acted swiftly, and resolved the problem efficiently. Thank you, Team Mount Grace!

Loved the rooms as well as the heated plunge pools. The bathrooms were also very comfortable and spacious and we especially loved the beds as well as comfortable pillows. The service by the reception was excellent and they were always available when we required anything. The food was excellent. Breakfast was Soo delicious and supper by the Rambling Vine was good with an amazing atmosphere that's 100% perfect for dates. The Spa was definitely the highlight of our stay, it was comfortable and an experience we'll definitely be doing again. Loved it.

The pancakes/waffles by the breakfast area were slightly disappointing as they were always slightly burnt/dried out.

We have been visiting Mount Grace regularly over the last couple of years, and it's always a favourite. The breakfasts are superb, with a great variety of options. The staff is also absolutely amazing, super friendly, and always available to help. The Spa is always a highlight. The pricing is very reasonable, and the therapists are all excellent. I have not ever been disappointed with any of the therapies booked at the Spa.

The top pool at the Spa did not have its jets running, so the water was not as warm as I had hoped, but this is the first time we have ever experienced this. In my opinion, the dinner and room service options could be refined.

While the food and rooms were disappointing (undercooked pizza and a bad wet carpet smell in the bedroom), the staff were pleasant and provided excellent customer service. They were attentive to our needs, and everything we required was provided promptly. Their professionalism helped make the experience more bearable, but there’s still room for improvement, especially with the food and room conditions

The food quality was subpar, with the pizza base being undercooked and lacking basic seasoning like salt. Additionally, the bedrooms had a strong, unpleasant wet carpet smell that made the sleep uncomfortable.

Our stay at Mount Grace was exceptional, the staff alone provided friendly, professional and world class service from the time we arrived to catering for all our needs during our stay and even to our last day. I was left thoroughly impressed by all the amenities including being spoiled for choice with restaurants and swimming pools. The location is marvelous and serine with breathtaking views that contribute to the hotel anesthetics. I would 1000% return and recommend the hotel to any and everyone I know.

The buffet didn't live up to my expectation, I found the selection quite limited and the food itself lacked flavour and did not justify the cost.

Great place, they gave us a warm welcome. Great facilities. We had a wonderful anniversary weekend and they did a sundowner in our room without any requests, that was so romantic and stunning

The electricity kept being disrupted both evenings. The first night the restaurant staff seemed short stuffed of distracted, the service was terrible we got attended after 45min of sitting in on a dirty table and the sad past was we couldn’t do room service becos our telephone in the room wasn’t working. And the location of our room was so not ideal, it was next to a conference room and they hosted something on our first night the noise was super loud until 23:00

Mount Grace is the perfect country getaway for couples or families. We had a great time restoring here. The meals were all very well prepared and tasty! Breakfast buffet was generous and offered allot of variety. The Spa was also lovely, we enjoyed our time!

Service at the evening dinner was super slow. Multiple tables stood dirty throughout the night. Staff are very friendly and courteous - maybe just address the service element for smoother operations and dining experience.

We arrived just as check-in had opened, so there were a few people ahead of us. We were welcomed and offered a glass of sparkling wine while we waited. Once checked-in, we were assisted with our luggage to our room via golf cart. The room smelled fresh and was clean, with super soft towels which were crisp white! The room had everything that we needed, even the things we didn't know we needed. We received the most romantic turn down service at sundown, which included rose petals and chocolates- the house keeping service was always on time and kept our room looking clean. We did not utilise the spa facilities. However, breakfast was good. There was a great variety from cold to warm foods, sweet to savoury and it included a glass of sparkling wine which made for a refreshing mimosa. We took a walk on one of the hiking trails, with a mountaintop view, a map was provided to ensure we wouldn't get lost. The hotel grounds, including both cold and warm pools were emacculately kept. Overall wonderful stay. We look forward to returning in the near future.

We did not have dinner in the restuarant, however, we ordered room service on our first night. The dinner menu did not have alot of variety - no steak or any dinner dishes, mainly salads, most of the menu options were best suited for a lunch menu. We ordered a sort of tapas platter, not only was it not good value for money in terms of quantity but it was not tastey as well. We resorted to going out for dinner the next night.
