Fabulous hotel, we really enjoyed our time there. We stayed here as we had a wedding to attend down the road but also wanted to have a real SA experience. We loved the quad biking and the game drive, excellent value for money. We saw giraffes, zebras, rhinos and more! The mountain backdrop is stunning here and we loved relaxing by the pool also, although it would have been nicer heated! All the staff were truly amazing, so friendly and helpful! The food was also amazing, good choice of menu and value for money. We booked breakfast and dinner included and we loved the set menu we could order from for dinner, however one night they only offered a buffet dinner (they seem to alternate the offering) and I did not like any of the food from the buffet. When I raised this to the staff and asked if I could order from the menu instead, they made an exception and I was truly grateful for this. Excellent service. As it is very difficult to arrange taxis due to the long dirt track road to access the hotel, the hotel assisted us to arrange a driver for one journey and then on the day we left, a member of staff even drove us to our next location which was greatly appreciated.

The pool was FREEZING! Bathrooms and rooms a little dated so could do with an upgrade however still clean and comfortable with good AC. The one major downside to being on a reserve is the VERY long dirt track to get in and out of the hotel. You need to leave a good 20 minutes just to reach the end. To organise a taxi/driver via the hotel, the prices are highly increased.

The cleaning service takes long / our room was only cleaned at 14 h so we can’t use room freely . The reception did not book our quad bike session so it messed up our whole schedule

I didn't like the fact that the hotel gates close at 8pm, I understand its for safety reasons but it feels like they are setting a curfew for grown people.

I loved the place and the activities they have on site. I especially loved the game drive, as there were plenty of animals to see.

The only thing that I didn't like is that there was loud music playing in the A. M around the pool area and people talking. That disturbed our sleep. People check into such places to escape noise, so it didn't make sense that that was allowed to happen and seemingly it was the staff members that made that noise.

The staff was a bit disorganized for me. You ask for one thing you get the other. I asked for a room romantic set up which was beautifully done but still had chocolates that I had asked more than 3 times to be substituted. We had booked a hot air balloon trip and going to the flight place we were given the flight of driving ourselves or taking a shuttle with no mention of an extra cost of the shuttle. Only at checkout was this valuable information added. Both these incidences put a huge dampner on my spirit otherwise the place was lovely. Another thing was the aircon in our bedroom made more noise than it heated up the room.

The buffet was great and the staff was very friendly. I'd move in the property just to do their quad biking everyday. The place was clean and has enough chilling space outside.

The fact that hubbly is not allowed anywhere in the property. The pool is freezing like all your demons would leave your body if you enter that pool. There are no bar fridges unless you book the room where political parties slept back in 1995, Mandela, F.W De Klerk, Mangosuthu Buthelezi. The shower bath glass combo is old.

I like everything was beautiful and clean. The rooms are big👌💞

Oooh God i didn't like the fact that i heard to pack at the packing and is far, and i hv to carry my bags😢😢😢😢tht one hai nooo. And the numb tht is in a Booking. Com. Pls add the WhatsApp number so tht if i want to change something in the room it will be easy to talk with them, cause tge landlines numb they don't pick it up it was bad cause i needed a setup for my Bae. Location was great. The room was clean and quiet Breakfast was very very good The pool was super clean Getting a glimpse of the animals and the quad biking was great. The overall experience was great

The waiters specifically some lady with a piercing.. her service was just there nothing special.. the dinner took long to come the platter for two was the size of just one meal with only 2 kebab sticks and 1 piece lamb chop.. the potato wedges were undercooked. She also didn’t come back to wipe the table..so we sat on a table full of crumbs till we left.

The cleanliness, welcoming staff, and willingness to accommodate and cater to all individuals. Absolutely lovely place to go reset, rejuvenate, and relax. The buffet Dinner and Breakfast menu is great.

The ala carte menu option is restricting such that staff may have the inability to attend to all guests timeously and the lack of food options from the provided menu.
