The room was great and I loved everything that comes with the facilities.

The host don't see the need to great and some of the stuff doesn't even respond when you great them I think they just missing the Ubuntu part of this business.

Thabiso was very nice to us, he Realy is good at his job.. Me and my family enjoyed our stay and we were happy. It's a very nice place to be, especially when you want some peace and quietness.

I booked a bigger room because it was the last one available, but when I arrive they gave us something different,i had to ask Thabiso to fix that because the prices for the rooms are not the same, so I expected to have what I have paid for. Other than that everything was good and Thabiso did his job and fix the problem for us.

It was peaceful and tranquil. We enjoyed the energy of the place and Geoff was so polite and not in our space at all. Hubby and I needed a break from the kids, so the location was perfect for us, we were away, yet close enough for any emergencies. I enjoyed it hey.

We had cold showers on night one, to be fair though we did arrive at 6:45pm so hubby and I assumed it was just an issue of timing. We had hot showers the next day though.

We loved that the rooms were clean and they catered to all our needs. We loved the back up system they have when there is load shedding, for example, solar power, gas stoves and non-electric kettles. We enjoyed the free WiFi and we loved how friendly and helpful the staff was.

The swimming pool was too small for the many different families that were there. For improvement, there could be a small entertainment centre for kids, for example swings.

When we arrived we were greeted by Geoff. He was friendly and gave us the option to choose the suite we chose. The place was neat and tidy. We didn't have any coal and wood but were able to purchase some from Geoff. There was a fireplace that you can use (we didn't tho because we had our baby with us). All the utensils and cutlery were available which was great because we liked cooking. There's a gas stove not an electrical one, good in case of load shedding. We were allowed to join the single bed to the king bed so my 1 year old could sleep next to us. The entire suite just felt like a 5 star lodge. It isn't badly located and most touristy places are not that far from the lodge. Overall I loved my stay there .

The bathroom door was a bit hard to close and the shower door didn't close properly but it was not bad. You could shower without water spilling everywhere.

The Parking allocated in front of the Unit 1 was always taken and people parked the small walkway closed. We struggled to access the unit. My suggestion is to mark the parking area for the specific unit. The braai area should have a brush to clean the braai grid.

Staff friendliness, the guy that welcomed forgot his name us was supper friendly, showed us our rooms and other parts if the resort such as shops, pools and fave contact numbers in case we needed anything.

Place isn’t far from Johannesburg and there’s so many activities to do close by. the electric blankets un our beds🫶🫶🫶

The chalet was very spacious and positioned well. The kids also loved the swiming pool area

The stove oven was not working properly. For a self-catering lodge, I expect the property management to ensure that all the necessities are working properly before occupation

We wanted something quiet, cozy and rustic which could accommodate a large family. The place gave the best of both worlds. We got the peace and quiet of being in the "wild" while having all the facilities of modern life. I loved the fact that we had two options for swimming. There was a large pool located behind a Lapa, with a pool table. Excellent for day swimming. Then the smaller rock pool which isn't really made for proper swimming but rather for lollygagging and floating. It's excellent for young children as well as for the Instagram aesthetic. The property itself is very beautiful, the grass is well kept and its great for walks alone. Very secluded and safe.

Respect by other guests. It's okay to be polite and to greet, but there should be a message about respecting other guests space and boundaries. Members of the other family did get a little over familiar and at some points caused discomfort. I took a swim in the evening, and although I knew there was potential that I may not be alone, I did not expect the level of over familiarity I experienced. People should be told to respect the boundaries of normal social conduct. Wi-Fi could be stronger.

Great location, beautiful scenery, clean rooms, friendly staff and hosts. Oh the place is serene and peaceful. I'm definitely coming back!

Hot water in the showers finishes quickly, we woke up after 9h00am took a shower around 10h30 the water was ice cold.
