Most of the staff were excellent. It would have been nice if the Manager introduced himself, since he was there most of the time but all the staff was friendlier than him. Food excellent Rooms excellent Service in restaurant excellent esoecially Michael.
, I suggest they just check everything befire guests arrive. Our geyser was not on and we had to wait quite a bit for hot water, and our tv did not work, but they sorted it out. Had to get them again the next morning as it again did not work. I just don't like to complain whe we get there. Area outside the glass door needs attention. Only 1 lounger available. A bit of decor would be nice outside, even at room entrance. There is a coffee machine, but they only give 2 of those snall triangular milks, which does not make sense since the facilities are there to make lots more coffee and tea.

The place was a pleasant surprise for us. We did not know what to expect. Good coffee with coffee machine, good choice of teas. Big kettle on coffee station too. Welcoming gift: biltong, plums and a little bit of sherry. (Other places leave terrible brands of instant coffee and tea in their rooms.) Good matress and choice of pillows to sleep on. Room was large very private. Huge shower and a huge bath. Lovely bath salts at bath. Good breakfast too! Service in general really good.
Stay was too short. We never saw the famous hippos that they warned us about.🙃We will have to come back to find something to complain about.

Location great, staff are amazing, food was good, nice hot water and big bed
Rooms require maintenance and upgrading..blocked drains..bedside lights hanging..smelly toilet on entering..carpets not cleaned well..there was dirt like lettuce in the bathroom floor..tv too small..couch not comfy or practicle and creaks..dead insects in the bed net..not much to do if spending more than a night other than relax or you can drive out

Service at this establishment is really unmatched. Lots of attention to detail, from a personalised handwritten welcome note from the GM to ensuring our dietary needs were met.

This is a highly unique and exceptional hotel. The private location in a reserve gives you a genuine feeling of being out of the city. The rooms are enormous and extremely comfortable. The food is great, the staff are lovely. What's more, this hotel will always be immensely special to my future wife and I because we got engaged here. We could not have chosen a more romantic and sumptuous location in which to take our union to the next level. Highly recommended. We'll done Forum Homini.
Nothing.

I really have very little I didn't like so let me tell you the exceptional parts that went far above my expectations. We were served by Morne himself for dinner, Michael Nhlapo does the things with the pots (awesome cook), Michael the waiter taught us a lot about wine. From what I could gather the hotel was fully booked but so much space and attention was available and given to us. So much more can be said so in a nutshell it's a 5 star experience.
I really have to look deep and be a stickler for detail to find fault. I personally didn't enjoy the 4th course of our dinner as it was too sweet for my taste. This was the first 5 star experience I was responsible for and I wish I was more educated about the tip procedure and how some of the things work. I'm sure we'll get more comfortable with experience.

I loved everything about the property. From the check in tour and history of the place, the friendliest staff ever, lovely spacious rooms with the best finishes, food was absolutely amazing and the tranquility of the whole place. My partner and myself absolutely loved every second of it and we can’t wait to come and visit again.
I can’t fault anything about the property. This honestly has been the best experience I’ve ever had and everyone always greeted and assisted us with a smile which made us feel right at home.

We had a wonderful stay at Forum Homini. The staff were friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The food was really delicious with gorgeous presentation. I am especially grateful for the wonderful service rendered during our engagement. The set up of the picnic was spectacular and all the staff went out of their way to make us feel special. Thank you for giving us a lovely stay with beautiful memories.

Everyone was very welcoming. They took dietary requirement very serious. The rooms were absolutely brilliant. The food was great and the whole atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable. The family enjoyed it and would absolutely go back.
One of the staff members were on their phone the whole time and was not paying attention to the guests in the restaurant. Normally it would not be a problem but a spillage had happened and it took another staff member at least three tries to get her attention.

This place is a must tick on your bucket list. If you want to spoil your loved one, this is the place to be!! Awesomeness from the 1st second you enter - fantastic staff, facilities, vibe and food. We enjoyed the mid-week stay, as it was quiet, relaxed and just priceless. We enjoyed the privacy, our own private jacuzzi with the bonus sparkling wine on ice - perfect for our 20th wedding anniversary. Everything was absolutely 110% - can't think of another place that will beat this awesomeness...
