My stay was wonderful. I arrived late on Friday after 2100 hrs. I was touched to find that my thoughtful and kind hosts Cathy and Iggy had kept some food aside for me (as their kitchen was by that time closed) in case I was hungry , which I was! They had even ensure that I had 2 options to choose from. They invited me to join them by the fire in the bar/lounge area and I ate my dinner whilst we chatted and got to know each other. They gave me recommendations on where I could go and play golf and where I could find a good restaurant for Sunday lunch with my family (both excellent recommendations, by the way!) My room was warm and cosy thanks to the fan heater they provided for me without my even asking. I was only able to explore the grounds on Sunday morning. What a beautiful, tranquil place. I wish I had had more time to spend the day there enjoying the view and the river/stream that goes through the property. Sunday evening Iggy and I sat around the fire and enjoyed a movie on Netflix, it felt like home! Thank you Cathy and Iggy and your staff for making my stay memorable. I will be back when its not so cold so I can truly experience the place and this time I will bring some friends along!

My shower used a gas geyser which did not work effectively for m. As a consequence the water was never at any point warm enough for me. I come from Botswana and cant tolerate the cold.

We had a great stay while attending a conference at Lanseria. The hosts were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to help us — not just with getting to the airport, but with anything we needed. The place has a warm, family feel and was perfect for a short stay. Clean, comfortable, and peaceful. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for something easy and welcoming.

The staff was exceptional and very accommodating. We stayed there as I was competing and the staff tried their best to make sure we had sufficient ice and water for our cooler the next day as well as accommodate us when we needed to leave early so the chefs would we available to make an early breakfast. There were functions at the venue but the music was turned down early enough to allow us to rest in between the days.

Cathy is the friendliest and most helpful host you'll ever come across. The location is safe, it's situated by a stream for a quiet, peaceful country-side feel and the accommodation is the most value-for-money you'll ever find. It's perfect for a business stay-over!

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the lake and view were the best part of the place and wished I stayed longer to enjoy their food.

It’s easy to miss the board entering the premises, it would be great to see clear boards until the gate of the accommodation

Lovely location, friendly staff, great for a stop over or one night stay. They had live music at the restuarant and a market during the day on the property.

The rooms are next to the restaurant which makes a quiet evening in not an option. The rooms are in fact much smaller than in the photos.

It was a remote quiet place. People and stuff were very friendly. It exceeded our expectations.

We expected a pool. However the service and the food made us forget.

The scenery was beautiful, peaceful, a wonderful get away from the busyness of life in Joburg. The staff were wonderful, incredibly helpful, kind, happy to see us and nothing was too much trouble.

The area guarantees flies and mosquitoes so guests need to come prepared.
