I recently had the pleasure of staying at Cityden Zuidas during my visit to Amsterdam. From the moment I stepped into the lobby to the time I checked out, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. Pros: Spacious Accommodation: I opted for the Studio XL, and it exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious, well-designed, warm, and well-equipped, providing a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Comfortable Bed: The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a day of exploring Amsterdam. Convenient Location: While the hotel is not exactly located in Amsterdam, it is proximity to the tram station made it incredibly easy to access Amsterdam's attractions. The seamless connectivity added convenience to my travel experience. Overall Impression: Cityden Zuidas provided a comfortable retreat during my time in Amsterdam. The spacious and well-equipped room, coupled with the convenient location, made it an excellent choice for both solo travelers and those exploring the city with family and friends.

Cons: While my stay at the hotel was nearly flawless, I did notice some stains on the furniture. Though I understand that some stains are hard to remove, addressing this could enhance the overall aesthetics of the room.

I had a great stay at Cityden Zuidas. The staff were very friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. The location is excellent — just about a 4-minute walk to the tram station, making it easy to get around Amsterdam. The room was spacious and comfortable, equipped with a smart TV that has YouTube and Netflix, perfect for relaxing after a long day. I also appreciated the well-equipped kitchen with a cooking machine, microwave, water boiler, and coffee machine, which made it very convenient for preparing meals and drinks. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend it for families or anyone looking for comfort and convenience.

The only downside was that cleaning is only every 7 days — during our 6-day stay, the room wasn’t cleaned (though towels were changed and garbage collected daily), which felt a bit disappointing considering the price.”

I loved the design of the room, very modern and well-equipped. I was able to do work on my laptop and also to relax and cook for myself. The staff were extremely helpful. Any questions or queries we had they tried their absolute best to help guide us. PS: The coffee pods were amazing :)

I would recommend adding more salt/pepper, possibly even oil as part of the cooking kit. If people go on vacation they don't really want to think about essentials like that. The gym kit needs some developments, there were some weights that had sand/rocks pouring out of them, which could definitely be considered as risky.

The hotel is very good. I appreciated that there was the option to cook my own food as well as dine at the restaurant located in the hotel. Great location – you can quickly reach the metro by tram and from there easily get anywhere in the city. The staff are well-qualified and very friendly; they explained how to rent a bike and were always happy to help. The only downside was the washing machines. The ones I used didn’t seem to be well-maintained, and after washing my clothes there, they had an unpleasant smell, unfortunately. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay at the hotel. The breakfast was delicious, with a good variety of fruits, pastries, and more. The staff were very professional. I especially liked the rooftop terrace.

This cleverly designed room, made us feel as though the room was much bigger than it was. We especially enjoyed the kitchen facilities with a fridge and stove top. The location of this accommodation was a good 30min bike ride to the center, but we managed (we wouldn’t recommend this location if bike riding isn’t your thing). We were going to Dekmantel and this was a good location, close to the Bos, allowing for 30 min ride to and from the festival. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Proximity the airport was amazing.

Use of washing machines and dryers added to around 9€. The window in our room didn’t stay open.

The place has good modern facilities and is in a quiet location, away from the busy part of city centre, near green areas and is quite peaceful. We went for a concert at Bostheater which was super handy. The bed and couch were comfortable. Breakfast is simple but good. Majority of staff were extremely nice, especially the cleaning and breakfast crew. Very near the airport, which is handy for commute.

There could be some things provided which would facilitate cooking, like salt and oil. Also, only 1 pastille was provided for the dishwasher when we were staying there 3 days and cooking every day. The shower didn't have a door which meant the bathroom would flood with water every time you took a shower. Also, we asked for the towels to be changed and bins to be taken out and this wasn't done. I imagine the staff are quite overloaded with work so I don't blame them though. All things considered, it was a good experience and I would come back.

Cityden Zuidas is very conveniently located for those looking to stay close to Uilenstede (student accommodation) as well as close to Kronenberg Tram Station to commute/ connect. Room has small kitchen facilities attached to it, which offers tremendous comfort to make your own food as a tourist. Courteous reception staff, always available to help, be it requirement in the room or getting a taxi.

(1) Cleaning done once in 7 days...quite unusual.. especially, if one is staying for 3 to 4 days, you expect cleaning to be done daily (2) Coffee/ Tea refill not complementary... quite unusual (3) Netherlands adaptor not made available complementary (on returnable basis) to visiting tourists.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They react to the customer requests quite quickly. Our booking was upgraded up to XL room absolutely free which was very kind and unexpected. The hotel is very quiet. The apartment is cozy and clean, with good facilities. The kitchen is equipped with all necessary kitchenware. They compliment guests with some capsules for coffee machines, couple of tea bags. Additionally there's a disposable dishwashing kit. The beds a comfy, bed sheets and towels are fresh and clean. There are some supermarkets within 10 min walk. The tram stop is just nearby. Easy to get to the airport from Station Zuid.

Just be aware: cleaning service is provided once a week. But the garbage is taken out and towels are changed upon request.

Cityden Zuidas was a great choice for our vacation in Amsterdam. The apartment was modern, spacious, well equipped and very comfortable — perfect to relax after long days walking around the city. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, with excellent public transport connections that made it easy to get everywhere. We didn’t use many of the common areas, but the self-service laundry was very convenient during our stay. The staff was friendly and check-in was smooth. We’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to other travelers.

A few small suggestions: • In the laundry area, the signage mentions a price “from €1”, which can be a bit misleading at first glance. While the full pricing is listed, it would be clearer to display it more prominently. • The window in our room couldn’t be left open, which made it harder to get fresh air. • The in-room temperature control didn’t seem to work properly — it was difficult to adjust the temperature to a comfortable level. None of these were major issues, but addressing them could definitely improve the overall guest experience.

Our stay at Cityden was absolutely fantastic! The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed—truly a home away from home. The staff were incredibly friendly, accommodating, and always ready to help, making our experience even more enjoyable. The hotel’s value for money is excellent, and having a tram service just a 5-minute walk away was so convenient. We were so impressed with the comfort and relaxing atmosphere that we decided to extend our stay. The wonderful studio accommodations provide everything one needs for a perfect visit. Cityden will definitely be our go-to choice in the future, both for ourselves and for hosting our guests. We’re confident they’ll be just as content and happy with the modern, clean, and well-equipped facilities. Highly recommend!
