The staff, led by Jack, were excellent - friendly, courteous, very responsive and most were quite fluent in English. Wonderful breakfast and Happy Hour buffet spreads. I loved that the dining room was made available for hotel guests' use free of charge, with free flow of tea and coffee any time of the day. And I would like to thank Jing for her sunny beaming smiles that never fail to light up the day for us.

Parts of the hotel were rather dark. Such as the ground floor lift lobby. There were no lights in the lobby. I stayed in a Superior Twin Room and found the part of the room at the opposite end to the beds (where the luggage rack was located) very dark at night. So dim that it was difficult to look for things in our suitcases at night.

Great hotel with beautiful interior. Our room was very elegant with fantastic furniture that invited to be used. We loved the room control console by the bed. Big bathroom with shower and tub and a Toto toilet (if you know you know).. The staff is very helpful and speaks excellent english. The breakfast buffet with to order eggs is well stocked. We loved the "Tiny Hour" for a little snack in the afternoon before we headed out for the evening. Take the time to drink a cup of tea in the sitting area on the ground floor: great vibes.

The rooms were clean n the decoration seems more modern n with good quality. The breakfast was good. The service was good. The location was good.

Everything seemed good for its price but can only be better if they were more new. I suspect many people like this place like us but we know deep down that the place can improve just a bit more if some things were less used up.

The staff we came across were excellent, respectful, very polite and helpful. The breakfast was fine and had something for everyone. An added bonus was the happy hour between 5-7pm with a good variety of food and a small choice of wine, all complimentary. Location was good and situated very close to a MRT station. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

Nothing to dislike.

This is a hotel that pays attention to detail and thoughts in its hardware. An example, it was winter during my stay and in all of the other hotels I stayed in, it was cold after shower. This hotel's bathroom has a heat lamp to warm you up! The 5 pm to 7pm happy hour buffet. 24 hours availibility of hot drink (milk, chocolate drinks, coffee, tea, and hot water) Proximity to the MRT station

The stay was perfect except that on check-out day, early in the morning when it was still dark, and when I was in a rush to get to the airport, the room was without a power supply -- no light to pack my belongings. The staff only managed to find 1 working torch light. I wonder shouldn't an abundance of torch light be made readily available in an earthquake-prone area like Taipei?! I would have rated this 10 out of 10 were it not for this unfortunate incident.

Excellent location and rooms. We spent six nights here. We were surprised that they had happy hours on food from 1700 to 1900. And the spread was substantial. It was akin to dinner. The attention to detail in the rooms is a big plus. The location - two min from the MRT - is a huge help after a long day spent out and walking.

The location is excellent as the hotel is very close to MRT station. The room is spacious and the facilities are good. Breakfast and the afternoon tea free treat are magnificent. The staff is very helpful and the beds are comfortable.

The free wifi does not work properly and more USB outlets should be provided in the room. Nowadays there are too many phones and wifi eggs that need charging outlets.

Breakfast was very good, well served and varied. I loved the idea of the Happy Hour. It was very nice to come back to the hotel after a day full of activities and find such a lovely spread, with the opportunity to try local dishes!

Area very convenient, with transport at door step, but neighbourhood could be nicer.

The breakfast was included and it was by far the best breakfast we had during our trip. There was a large selection of beautiful hot and cold food. Between 5:00pm - 7:00pm each day is happy hour with complimentary alcohol and an enormous selection of food. Most people made this hearty selection their dinner. It was a very impressive, welcome bonus. The hotel has a classy, small intimate feel and we really enjoyed the intimacy of it as a central place to stay in Taipei. so close to the action but a quiet oasis to escape to after the business outside.

The location is very convenient, just a street across from the Taipei MRT. The food and cocktail hour are also excellent. The rooms are very clean, and the service is very accommodating and top-notch.

The TV is a bit complicated to use, and some room buttons don't work as they should. But it's only a very minor inconvenience.
