Breakfast food was mostly cold when it should have been hot. I was not able to control temp in my room, it was constantly hot. Staff sent someone who didn’t speak English to look at unit and I was annoyed that we were unable to communicate to fix the problem. I slept w/the window open for 3 days in March. Christmas music playing in lobby in February was annoying. Location was great, room was clean.

Front desk controls guest room temperature which is nuts. Food at breakfast was cold when it s/h been hot. Parking lot was not plowed. It was extra icy and dangerous, and while they had heavy equipment in the parking lot they were just moving piles of snow from one place to another, but the driveway remained a major hazard. Nothing was shoveled, except a path to the dumpsters for the staff to use.

this was a great location for my daughters basketball team, large lobby with lots of seating to hang out at night, outdoor seating area also with firepit, playground and lake right across the street and a walkway up to Main Street for eating and shopping right around the corner. Pool area was clean and towels well stocked. Only complaint was that only 1 of the 2 elevators was working due to maintenance so it took a while to wait for that but would definately stay here again. Ozzy at the front deask was so friendly and accomodating!

Breakfast was good, pretty standard fare overall but good. My room was very satisfactory and clean.. Location was excellent. The bartender was excellent and a very personable host this was a pleasant surprise. The person he was training was brand new and when trying to explain giving her a tip there was again a communication gap. She was good and attentive just not quite attuned to the custom of giving tips for her good service.

The one elevator was down during my entire stay. And on my day of departure at 5AM the second elevator was inoperable. I tried to explain this to the check in clerk but due to what seemed like a communication gap she could not understand. This had resulted in walking down 5 floors with three bags. While not a deal breaker it was an inconvenience in an otherwise excellent stay.

The breakfast was good. Our room was great , large lots of room. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Also so thoughtful to put a bottle of sparkling wine in our room to help us celebrate our anniversary, so nice 😊. Definitely will be back , but going to get a room with a balcony. The view was so nice of mirror lake , wish had gotten a room with balcony.

Just had issue with trying to keep room cool. It would work a little bit then get warm after a bit. Wish had a bigger garbage can in room. So tiny that a little bit of garbage filled it up.

Great location at the Mirror lake. Very nice breakfast area with the view to the lake. Tennis rackets for free. Good beds.not soft as typically are in the USA- backs Hurt. Here ok.

We had online one issue which the manager of the hotel promised to resolve with booking.com. This is concerned to a pets are allowed in the hotel and therefore some accidental cleanliness issue occured in our bed..lets say. Hotel reacted promptly and offered compensation..I am still waiting for it. I would recommend to the hotel not to accept any pets in the rooms. This would help to prevent from accidents we faced...

I was very surprised that this is a chain hotel - it feels like a well cared for boutique lodge. The staff was very friendly and personable, the hotel was very clean and the little perks like snacks of popcorn in the lobby, 24 hour hot beverage bar, and games/puzzles for the guests to enjoy made it feel like home. The morning breakfast was good as well, a wide selection to choose from with some variation day to day. The hotel was also had a great location by the lake with easy walking to everything in Lake Placid.

The location was perfect. Walking distance to many attractions and restaurants. There was a coffee, tea and water station in the lobby day and night. Hot chocolate station was set up periodically in the lobby. The room was very spacious and offered a beautiful view.

The pillows were not my favorite, but additional pillows were provided upon request.

Location, included breakfast, friendly efficient staff.

Starting to show its age: lake front patio gas fire pit not working, wood fire on top of lava rocks only upon request to front desk, patio pavers settling unevenly, concrete steps from patio to sidewalk toward lake crumbling; 4” round hole 6”+ deep in one of steps, king suite room ac struggled to keep room under 70 degrees at night.

LOCATION! Breakfast is GREAT! Beautiful great room that is so welcoming! We played games as a family there. Often had snacks (popcorn, fresh fruit, cookies) free of charge to enjoy. Coffee, tea, fruit-infused ice water available at all times. Our absolute favorite place to stay!

We had a lovely room - 2 queen beds - lakeview. The room was clean and lots of towels. The breakfast was more than we had expected - hot and cold food. Loved the little added touches such as the firepit, the afternoon cookies and lemonade and the popcorn. Very friendly staff. No complaints at all.

Would have liked to have a make-up mirror in the bathroom and a towel rack for wet towels.
