This is a really nice spot to relax for a day, and take day trips to nearby towns and undertake day activities. The mini hike to the waterfall was neat. The animals are super cute and friendly.
The animals (sheep, pigs, and goats) seem to need a bit more of a TLC. More shelter, moving location where they can access more fresh grass, and a diet and haircut/shower (as one sheep's ear needed a bit of serious cleaning due to potential infection). They probably less food (i.e. those sheep pellets/nuts) because each guest receives one bag of sheep pellets/nuts each, and too much pellets, in aggregate, will make the animals unwell. I'd like to return to the holiday park next time and hope to see them again, more healthier!

Friendly welcome with 2 warm muffins. A bag of food pellets to feed the goats, sheep & pigs. A whole litre of milk. Very well equipped kitchen, even though tiny. Comfortable bed, blackout curtains. Good hot water. Enjoyable walk through farm & bush to waterfall. Really enjoyed sitting on the verandah having late dinner, with peaceful surroundings & birdsong. Most relaxing.
A pity the lefthand kitchen cupboard door couldn't open completely around ( if that makes sense). Would have made access to cupboard much easier.

Excellent, accommodating owners who thought of renters' comfort and making a memorable experience for them. They gave us a big bag of food to feed the farm animals, a map for the trail to the waterfall, offered torches for night hike to see the glow worms, a fan in the room (which is something most holiday parks do NOT provide and was much appreciated), and a large container of milk.
The bathroom sink was tiny and no place to lay toiletries or makeup.

Clean, comfortable and cosy rooms. Great value for money. Fantastic views / surroundings. Feeding the farm animals was a lot of fun. The glow worm walk was quite an adventure; my kids would have loved it when they were little./ Walking around the farm. Charming country tavern / pub close by for dinner.
I didn't dislike anything. The toilet / shower facilities were a little 'rustic' (though what you would expect for the price.)

Smith's Farm Holiday Park is the ideal spot for a break. Located within a stones throw from the local Queen Charlotte Tavern, Havelock, and Anakiwa, the property is easily accessible. Barbara and Chris were extremely welcoming and looked after us throughout our stay. The cabin had all the amenities and facilities you need for a comfortable stay. Would highly recommend the waterfall track and glow worm walk to guests staying at the property.

Quaint, quiet, connection with nature. Sunrise views and plenty of walks and farm animals around. Charlotte and Peter (I think) were most warm and a lovely couple welcoming us into their beautiful holiday park farm stay. On arrival, we were served freshly baked delicious banana bread muffins, the perfect antidote to the winter evening. You'll be given feed for the sheep and other livestock to enjoy feeding in the morning. You'll love it. Plenty to do in the area

What a delightful place for a short stay. It was a beautiful, peaceful setting with all the amenities and comforts I needed. I loved being able to feed the animals and stroll through the extensive grounds, and it was also very convenient for the ferry in Picton. The staff were warm and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely stay there again.

The Smiths Farm Holiday Park is a well-kept facility in a scenic little spot with excellent service from friendly family staff. Set in a beautiful location with good beaches a few minutes drive down the road in both directions, it is a great place to visit with family or friends. Our two year old loved feeding the animals, and it was a perk to be given muffins on arrival even though we got there late. The lovely walk up to the falls on dusk was another enjoyable addition to the evening before crashing in our well furnished unit.

I had no idea about the bush walk and glow worms. That was a massive bonus for the whole family and the kids loved it! The kids also loved being able to interact with and feed the animals (food was provided), particularly the pigs and goats. The chickens came for a visit too :) I was also able to bring our dog.
I should have booked direct as I think it's cheaper. I was aware the place was pet friendly, but didn't realise there was an additional charge. The hosts were really great about this so it wasn't a problem in the end. This needs to be more explicit on Bookings.com

The setting was beautiful, wonderful atmosphere on the site with fantastic facilities. We had all we could need in the cabin and it was very comfortable. The Glowworm and waterfall walk was the icing on the cake, simply magical. I will definitely be recommending this accommodation for anyone in the area.
Nothing I didn’t like.
