Very enjoyable stay at this motel in Havelock. The room we had was very spacious, and the kitchenette area had everything we needed and would have been happy for a longer stay. Staff were very friendly, and though we didn’t use the DVD player, we liked the large library of films that were available in the reception area. Location of the motel is ideal within Havelock, walking distance to eateries and the marina, etc.

Strangely, the parking spaces outside our motel room were taken up by various cars, which we suspect were staff members. This could be improved.

We love the location, very close to everything and very cozy and place is clean and tidy enough.

The wifi is crap. The whole time we're staying there, No Wifi at all even if they stated they do. And there's no proper communication from the owners when we have a loud siren going on for there's a fire and we don't even know where. We ran to the Reception area but nobody's around just to get some info for we are not from there, we don't know what's going on. We have to figure it out ourselves.

The place was so tranquil, surrounded by forest. It was hard to believe we were on the main road of this quaint wee town. It was a clean and comfortable motel with nicely refurbished rooms and great service- fresh towels and so forth, daily. The host was lovely and we felt very welcome. Everything you need is within walking distance. We would recommend dinner at the Mussel Pot next door (but make a booking). We also did the 'mailboat cruise', delivering supplies on the weekly 'mail' run to all the jetties that had placed orders in Pelorous Sounds with entertaining commentary on route-We thoroughly enjoyed this too.

The sitting is beautiful with a long driveway off the main highway into a large garden area with complete with big old trees and spacious lawns. It feels quiet and secluded despite being so close to the main road. I really enjoyed the garden aspect of it and the layout. Our little unit was fine for three separate friends with the two bedrooms and the sofa bed.

I believe the sofa bed mattress was not of a very high-quality.

We have a two bedroom unit which was designed for four. The kitchen is very well equipped good for any chef. The large toaster can make four toasts at a time and cookwares are more than adequate. The suite is very spacious and the environment is like in a nature sanctuary. Everything you need is five minutes away. We had a very good sleep as it’s quiet all around. We love it and highly recommend.

Bush setting, quiet, friendly staff, close to the water, excellent restaurants within walking distance. Nice big mugs. A well stocked kitchen. Plenty of bedding. Nice and clean.

I found the mattress too hard and tossed and turned all night but to be fair I get a sore lower back easily. I’m sure most people would be fine. My daughter found her bed fine.

Nice little place for a nights stay. Friendly people and friendly staff. Had plenty of grassed areas for both children and our family pet.

Could recommend that numbers to accommodation are visible to see when driving in. It's only a wee place but for tired travellers who are new to the venue we had a lil trouble finding our place.

We stayed just the one night to take a Mail Boat tour the next day. The motel is quite well placed back from the busy main road unlike some other places in Havelock so we had an undisturbed night there. The local 4 Square is quite basic so you might want to shop in advance to get fresh food for the evening

It was a convenient stop for us while biking the Queen Charlotte track and beyond. The rooms were clean and it had a verandah for parking our bikes on. Bathroom was large and had a spa bath.

The bedrooms were a little small and also the lounge area for two couples. The verandah was slippery after a rainfall which made it greasy to walk on.

Compact kitchen, with sink, brilliant! Generous sized en suite. Helpful manager rang to check restaurant and museum opening times, tranquil bushy environment but right next to shopping centre. DVD library meant we could research tomorrow’s sightseeing.
