The train which arrives to Tampere goes under this Arena Hotel, and you can see it from the train station, so it is very easy to find it. It's 5 min walk. Despite of this I rarely heard the trains from my room. You have access to the Nokia Arena from the hotel too, and if you have ticket, you don’t have to go out and enter again. The receptionist told me that I can use any entrance I want to get in the hotel, but I prefered to use the one labeled with „Lapland Hotel Arena”. The receptionist and everybody were very very kind, polite and helpful. The breakfast was a bufet. It was rich (one of the richest I saw in north Europe) and you can choose whatever you want. Sweet and salty, cold and cooked, everything. There were „free from” options too, As a vegetarian I had no problem to find soooo many things to eat. The food were labeled in both English and Finnish. There were non-vegetarian food too. My favourite were the blueberry juice and that spicy baked potato. I saw several type of joghurt in a jar, but I didn’t find a small bowl for it, maybe it was for drinking. I have never had a breakfast in candel light before, but it was super super fancy. But the fanciest thing, what I liked the most was the elevator. Some rooms have sauna, but alternatively you can use the one on the 12th floor. I didn’t try them, but it’s Finnland I guess it is perfect. On the TV screen you have access to many important information about the hotel and the room, including room service, air conditioner, room sauna, everything. This was the only one hotel in north Europe I stayed, where I could open the window. I was very happy for it. In the bathroom there were soap, shampoo, body wash, everything with Skandinavian pine scent. It was a bit strong, what I didn’t like for the first time, but after I read it is a scent of pine I realized, that this is really is. There were a kettle, cups, coffee and tea bags in the room, and iron if you need it. Just can't wait to come back.
I couldn't turn off totally the air conditioner. During the night it blew cold air on me, whatever I tried to set the temperature, it did. The fan was off, but the air conditioner could not be. That Sami folk music was good, and relaxing, and as a hungarian I was very very very happy for it, but I heard it everywhere, and after 2 days it was too monoton, even it was not the same.

We were here for just a night and it was very comfy. Our room had an extra bed with a little window that you could whatch the snow falling. This was our highlight! The beds in general were very comfortable. The shower and toilet have even a audio speaker so you can listen to music or TV while showering for example. The Hotel is right next to the Nokia Arena. You can pass from the parking through the hall of the arena and you reach the hotel very quickly. Everything is explained very good. The atmosphere in this hotel is really beautiful. I'ts very easy to park your car in the Aimo Parking Garage. The Breakfast has a variety of food in the best quality. Try also the restaurant in the evening. We can recommend it.
The only thing that we didn't expect is that we had to wait a long time for the starter (salad) and the main course in the restaurant. It wasn't even crowded. But the staff was friendly anyway. We don't know if the hotel can be loud during a concert or game. Because at our stay there wasn't a event.

Had no issues with finding the entrance - video guides sent beforehand were very useful. The location is great if you are attending an event at the arena, as you don't even have to go outside. The staff was very friendly and nice, provided me with all the information I needed. I turned up quite early, prepared to leave my luggage and come back to check in later, however the receptionist found a room which was ready and I could go there straight away! I asked for a small favour before arrival and the staff went above and beyond to fulfill my request. The room itself was cosy, with warm decor and beautiful lighting. The bathroom was very nice (it even had a speaker so you can listen to music/tv), with lovely toiletries. I had an issue with the shower but it was sorted within 10min of calling reception. Lots of choice at breakfast, and the restaurant (as well as the reception) had a nice atmospheric decor. The elevators work a bit differently, but I really like it and I think they are actually more efficient, especially at busy times.
Was quite surprised there was no mini fridge in the room. The view would have been nice if it wasn't blocked by metal construction bits of the arena...

Excellent range of breakfast items in large but comfortable dining area. Many of the breakfast items had a regional (i.e. Finnish) theme, which made for some interesting discoveries for a traveller from abroad. Staff were very attentive and entire hotel was pristine. Private sauna in our room was a treat. Loved the wooden reindeer in the foyer area and the amusing variation on the "do not disturb" door hangers.
Having to leave!

The location was fantastic for the Arena which was the reason why we chose it as attending a concert there. Was able to get into the concert from the hotel without having to go outside which was a bonus. Directions to the hotel from the train station were confusing and the hill up to the hotel was so steep dragging a heavy case I should have taken a taxi. The staff in the hotel were friendly helpful and professional, the hotel was exceptional and an experience which was very relaxed. Slept really well with bed was so comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was good although a little confusing as couldn’t find the eggs on the first morning and food labels on some items could have been clearer. I put porridge on my plate with my bacon mixing it up for scrambled egg as it was not labelled. 🤣.
Would have liked a refrigerator in the room which would have made it 100%.

Very clean and modern hotel and quiet and cool room with comfy bed. Super nice staff, everyone. Cleaners, chefs, waitresses, lady at check-in, just everyone were super polite and made us feel welcome to stay. What a great service! And what a breakfast! Wow!
Maybe some info where to get in and out would be good (entrance A to elevators, from floor 0 there is a lot more walking to do when going to city)

This is the third time I have stayed here and every year I look forward to the rooftop sauna. But this year I went out of the sauna and onto the terrace in my bathrobe without my card key, and the lady at the front desk helped me out. I will be careful next year. The breakfast was excellent and the restaurant staff were very diligent and helpful.
A fridge in the room would be useful.

Great hotel and so easy to access from town. An easy walk to most places. The staff were super friendly and attentive. Having our own sauna in the room was an added plus. We were staying to attend the Bryan Adams concert - amazing to be able to get the lift to the arena from our room floor!
The only thing we were disappointed with was the curtain blinds not totally blocking the light at night. The curtain didn’t go flush with the wall.

Beautiful hotel, the room was clean and nicely decorated. I really enjoyed the ambiance and the helpfulness/kindness of the staff. Great location, easy walking distance from the train station and many restaurants in the city centre region. The staff were really helpful, gave clear instructions about how to use the hotel sauna, how to access the various parts of the hotel, and tips on making my stay much easier in Tampere. A great gem!
Access to the hotel reception requires use of the elevator, which was a little tricky to figure out (maybe it's written somewhere, I just missed it). Not a huge deal whatsoever, just something to keep in mind!

Close to the city core in Tampere and close to the University (I was at a conference). The breakfast buffet was amazing. Everything was clean and fresh. Perfect when you have things to do all day and need a great place to sleep. I would not recommend if you wanted to hang out in the room (I did not want that) because the room was small.
The sauna was ho-hum. Nothing wrong with it, just not very exciting.
