The host is a warm person. The Lodge looks much better in person than on the pictures they posted on booking.com. My kids were happy with the setup we got for a family room, it was big and spacious. My 4 month old newborn was relaxed and happy. They were able to bring their toys and play on the outside patio. The breakfast was filling and good, there was no staff waiting around to see how much we eat we were well fed

I struggled to get hot water by the shower, however there was a bathtub as well, I was able to take a warm bath instead

Great location, shops closeby. Staff were friendly and accommodating, even allowing us to store leftover pizza in the communal area and using the dryer for our swimwear. The rooms were clean and comfortable with a small coffee station and fridge. Breakfasts were reasonable with a nice variety.

The smaller room had a very uncomfortable mattress, however the other room's mattress was perfect. The aircon wasn't working in the smaller room, and the fan could only be used while the light is on, which made sleeping somewhat uncomfortable in the heat. On checkout I was however informed that the aircons were due to be serviced the following week. The cold water tap in the shower of the smaller room was very difficult to open because of a makeshift head in lieu of a tap head. Fortunately we were able to make do since we also had a larger room included in our booking and everything in that room was great.

For the price I paid I expected a room and safety. What I got as well was breakfast, clean bedding, clean (quality) towels, accommodating staff that supported me in preparing for my work, free wi-fi and a homely atmosphere. The accommodation is basic, but provided with a smile and care and that made me feel comfortable and at home. Because the guesthouse is so well suited for groups and families, it can be noisy: the pool is well used by children, people are around socializing or working, but it rather feels more like a home than a guesthouse, without becoming untidy and tacky. I was really pleasantly surprised. Thank you Theresa for being such a great hostess. You run the guesthouse with your heart and all of you go the extra mile. I will come again.

The parking can be tight.

Staff were friendly enough. I borrowed their plates, cutlery etc they gave and the lady said that I'm welcome to using their kitchen

I didn't see them cleaning our room they just prepared bed only. The toilet was having urine smell. I ended up buying handy Andy to clean it. There was no hand soap in a bathroom. Lots of 🕷 in the wall. They must try to change breakfast we ate chicken burgers, cheese, wors, eggs everyday I endup telling the lady that I'm tired with chicken burgers yesterday

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Went above and beyond making our stay pleasant, from late wrapped breakfasts to allowing a friendly family braai!

Funny smell in the toilets. No plug points on the bedside :( Not a double bed, two singles pushed together Safe didn't work

Just maybe you can put your phone numbers on your website and again the address huuuuu we struggled to get to the place and unfortunately the network was bad that day that made us room around the streets trying to navigate our way and unfortunately it was at night .You need to do something on location and Google search .Otherwise everything pertaining the facility welldone huya

This guesthouse feels like home away from home. The lady is super friendly, and i love the fact that they really care about their guests, especially when it comes to having a good quality breakfast to start off your day. I definitely recommend

My husband, Norman loved the Quietness and their comfortable beds.they were understanding when I made a mistake when booking. The guesthouse is also reasonable in prices.

The bed is not comfortable, needs to be upgraded for extra comfort. The cutlery and cups needs to be washed thorougly as they have brown stains.
