This hotel truly has one of the best locations you could ask for! Just minutes away from the heart of the city, it was incredibly convenient to walk or take a quick ride to all the major attractions, restaurants, and shopping districts. Public transportation was easily accessible right outside the hotel, which made getting around effortless. Despite being so close to everything, the hotel itself was peaceful and quiet, allowing for a great night’s sleep after a busy day of sightseeing. The surrounding neighborhood felt safe and vibrant, with plenty of cafes, convenience stores, and local spots to explore. Whether I was heading to a business meeting or out for a casual stroll, everything was just steps away. If you’re looking for a centrally located hotel that makes city access simple and stress-free, this is the place to stay. I’d definitely return!

We have been booking regular and everything excellent.

Asked for extra milk from lady servicing rooms and she was great and said it was not her room but gladly gave us extra. We put them in our room ready for the morning. When we returned later they had been removed leaving only 4 just enough for one drink each. Also the morning we were leaving we were woken at 8.15 as someone was trying to access our room. We stay here regular so this is only the first time we have had this issue normally everything is excellent throughout. So hoping this was just a one off

Location is excellent, right next a main road, also the bus station, easy access to shops, restaurants and bars, hotel carpark has both easy access and secure parking Breakfast was excellent, great selection of food, from full English to cereals and continental, buffet style but well laided out, with plenty of room and helpful staff on hand The bar and restaurant were great aswell, good menu and choice of beers, wines and spirits, a bit more expensive than the surrounding bars but set in a nice clean and friendly atmosphere, definitely child friendly. The rooms were excellent, clean and fresh, tea and coffee making facilities spot on,on suite shower was spotless, great choice of soaps, shower get etc, good clean towels

Single beds are a bit on the small side, if your over 6ft, they're not that comfortable, but that's a choice dictated to by price and length of stay

I love that the ac unit actually heated up the room nicely, as it was a cold night. The 2 ladies working behind the bar were lovely. And the security guys on both nights were lovely and friendly. The room was clean and cosy. The room was kind of small, but the bed was huge, so I didn't mind that at all!! I like that the room door had a chain on it. As a solo female traveller, that little extra security was nice.

The lifts weren't great. Only one was working, and I stayed there 5 months ago, and it was the same. The lighting in the room is way too dark. Ceiling lights are needed for people who don't want mood lighting all the time.

The bed was so comfy & the pillows were perfect. It’s a nice atmosphere when coming in the building, the staff are lovey. We will definitely be returning again soon

Can’t figure out how I pay my over night parking. I can’t see my invoice has been charged with the £8. I added my reg at the reception desk & thought it won’t link to my bill but I’m sure if it has & I don’t want to get fined. I have been messaging customer service team but reply’s are very far between, I appreciate the staff are busy & the all so lonely I just want to get a fine for something I am trying to get to bottom & pay my £8 if I need

The newly renovated room was so comfortable, the beds were amazing! Quiet rooms - I couldn't hear my neighbours like in some hotels Bigger than standard single beds (we had a twin room) Great shower - waterfall shower and good sized bathroom with luxury soaps Separate reading lights next to the beds Plug sockets next to the large mirror Clean towels and linen daily Air-conditioning - lifesaver in the heat Friendly and helpful staff Cheap & central parking to Northampton - £8 for 24hrs Easy to find and just off the motorway

Myself and my brother and his partner all had a excellent time staying at Mercure Northampton. The rooms was amazing so much space. The breakfast we had every morning was lovely enjoyed it very much even though they didn't have any pan a chocolates left on the last breakfast we had but that's fine still all good. Staff are lovely everyone helped us alot. We would all stay here again when we visit Northampton again. Thankyou for having us and thankyou all for remembering me and making me feel welcomed.

Lots to like about this hotel. The staff blended friendliness with professionalism and were attentive to our minor requests (a quiet room, extra milk supplies for our room when needed and caretaking our bags until later in the day on check-out). The shower was good with plenty of hot water, the beds were super-comfortable and the breakfasts varied and plentiful. Only a short walk to the bus station and then on into the town centre but still quietly set away from the hustle and bustle.

A bit chilly in our room at times and the instructions on how to alter the settings were confusing. On reflection we probably should have asked someone to come and explain the procedure. I thought I'd followed the directions but nothing happened to increase the room temperature. The cooked breakfast got cold quickly and I prefer coffee served from a pot than from a machine - but I know that's being fussy!

very pleasant room and bathroom, bed was mostly comfortable.

Pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable, on the ground floor every where smells of room freshner. It looked as though this was to mask the smell of damp as several walls had bubbling paint from skirting board level. The conference chairs need reupholstering as they were hard, tired, grubby and uncomfortable for long periods of sitting.

Good clean well appointed room and comfortable bed. Really good and helpful staff especially at checkin and breakfast. Quite clearly a happy place to work and cheerful staff make for a pleasant stay. I was overheard saying I couldn’t see any bananas at breakfast and was overheard and one was brought to the table from the kitchen. Similarly some fried eggs had been out for some time and fresh ones ordered from the kitchen.

Being asked to pay 8.00 parking which I don’t remember being stated on booking. I can understand why when the hotel is so central. Fortunately it was waived by being an Accor member. I can never seem to determine if the heating temperature set is working.
