Everything was great: - the staff; so kind and so hard working, they do everything to make sure you have a lovely stay - the rooms; we where with 4 adults and 1 child and booked a Kokomo and High Bali room - the cleaning of the room; they clean twice a day. The first time is in the morning for a good clean, the second time is in the evening when they throw out the trash again, make up your bed - the cleaning of the hotel; everywhere you look people are cleaning, it's very clean - the breakfast was really good; you can choose from the menu, so no buffet (which I think is great because you don't have any food waste). You can choose one dish (all are amazing), have coffee and water (unlimited) and choose a healthy juice. They also have a special menu for kids and when we didn't see toast with peanut butter on this menu we've asked for it and we got it. The kitchen is doing everything to make the guest have a good meal - the restaurant upstairs is really good; the menu is very Western oriented, but sometimes that's just what you want ;-) - the swimming pool is amazing; it's on the rooftop so a lot of sun and great views. Also it's not busy, we always found a spot when we went swimming. There are free towels you can use (also for the beach you can ask for towels at the reception) - the gym is small but complete to do your work outs - the location is great; only a 5 minute walk to a big shopping mall and the beach is just across the street - there are washing machines available. We didn't use them because just a few hundred meters away is a laundry service that washes and folds your clothes for only 15K per kilo

The rooms are a bit noisy, but just bring your earplugs and you'll have a good sleep. Also we stayed on the 4th floor and you can hear the music from the other hotel (Tribe) very well till midnight.

Property is modern, stylish, clean, and well maintained. Central to many things and easy to get around. As close as you can get to the beach.

My 5th floor room was right under their rooftop dining area which doubled as an events space, club, karaoke and more. I constantly heard the banging of chairs and furniture movement early in the morning and loud music through to 2am. The windows also were not insulated at all and so even five floors up you hear everything happening street level.

Super modern & spacious rooms with really cute touches e.g. welcome snacks! Being able to use the app to order room service & talk to staff was fab. The free gym & gym classes, free laundry, free sunset yoga, great massages at the spa (Yogi was amazing), surf lessons etc. Great WiFi & central location Finally, the staff were super kind and friendly - thanks for a great stay!

A squat rack in the gym would be a great addition, & being able to order food & drinks pool side with the app would be a nice touch (+ a towel station) Some breakfast portions were quite small.

Everything is just perfect. The most clean hotel in Bali. We had the top gun suite which was perfect. Food is amazing on the rooftop. The app they use is working very well, and you can order anything or chat with the reception anytime. Room service is 24 hours and they provide complementary message, snacks and drinks at check in. We stayed in 5 hotels over 2 weeks in Bali and this is the one I rate highly if you are after cleanliness and perfection.

Loved the roof top pool with shady cabanas,sometimes a DJ playing lovely soulful music there in the afternoon.also the free DIY launderette downstairs near the gym( also good) Food was well presented,staff super helpful.Toiletries ,hairdryer,nice coffee in the room...bed and pillows super comfy, AC good,blackout blind worked well

The rooms are not well soundproofed,for 3 nights we had people shouting, children crying etc..not great.Other guests had no idea of being quiet in the corridors,,food not as tasty or spiced as we hoped for.

Always happy staying at this property. Location is Marvellous - You can access Kuta beach just by crossing the road. Shopping centre is 5 mins walk as well. Everything is easily accessible via small walks. Breakfast is set menu - Can add more options - but still no complaints to what was offered. It is delicious and the staff working on rooftop are very courteous and friendly. Room size is great if you're staying in their suite. And is beautiful as well.

Nothing to rate negative but for feedback - 1) More options for breakfast can be added. 2) Should not lose human contact - and let guests contact staff via phones rather than just the app. 3) In-room dining.

the decking could use some trip hazard tape as I was sitting by the pool. I had noticed several people not noticing this step and losing their balance. This could potentially waive any litigation against the company.

Very nice design and space arrangement in the room with multiple electric sockets and enough space to keep one's belongings (also in the bathroom). Helpful and very nice easy going staff. Free self-service laundry, a very nice gym and rooftop swimming pool.

As we were leaving early on the last day, we ordered a takeaway breakfast. This option is great, but we did not receive all that we ordered plus it was poorly packed (our bag was leaking before we reached the airport) and no cutlery was provide.

Extreme overpriced all services, hidden costs. Local beer from candle 175.000 etc / 10,50 eur InAsia, poor Bali where average hour rate is 1,2 eur? No No No

Mamaka by Ovolo is in a great location. 30 minutes from the airport, so it is great if you just arrived in Bali. We easily walked into Seminyak or Kuta for shopping trips and it is surrounded by lots of great restaurants. The view from the pool is awesome, it’s on the top floor so you can look out over the beach or the land whilst enjoying a cocktail in the middle of the day. It seemed to be the place to hang out. I was surprised how cheap the accommodation was considering the quality of the rooms, food and location. I would stay at the Mamaka again and I would recommend it to my friends.

The only thing that I did not like about the hotel was the beds, they were hard and uncomfortable, but this seemed to be the normal for other places that we stayed as well.
