This was an amazing looking hotel, at a great spot in the centre of Distric 1 in Ho Chi Minh City. The breakfast was amazing and diverse, every day 3 options to choose from with 1 changing item per day. The staff at breakfast was also great, they helped us swiftly with our breakfast requests. Our first room that we had smelled bad but staff responded adequately and we received a new room, which was spotless. It was remarkably quiet for being in the city centre of Ho Chi Minh City. Also remarkable: Free pantry to pick drinks and snacks from at the upper level, including crisps, noodles and beers. Very nice to hang on the rooftop and listen to the sounds on the city at night.

Nothing.

The hotel is conveniently located near Ben Thanh market and 15 minutes walk from Bui Vien street. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful! The daily free breakfast is very good and the coffee is excellent. The unlimited water, drinks, beer and snacks is probably the best deal ever. The affordable price and rooftop to hangout with friends and family with a nice view of HCH just makes it a very good choice for a hotel. The Chu Chi and Mekong Delta tour that we went on through the hotel was excellent. Castle, our tour guide is the nicest guy ever and was very informative and friendly throughout the day. I highly recommend this tour and I hope The hotel management offers more opportunities to Castle as he’s a freelancer. Overall, our experience in Hammock Hotel was excellent.

I wish the bathrooms had the water hose in the toilet. We got very used to and fond of it after Hanoi.

The hotel is very nice and at a good location. We appreciated the complimentary snacks and beverages that were available all the time - it is a very nice gesture. For breakfast there are only a few options, which are made to order, and for me that is better than a buffet breakfast.

We accidentally booked bunk beds, and when we wrote to the hotel just a couple of minutes later explaining what happened, they were not willing to change or cancel our booking without the penalty fee. This is of course their right, buy we were disappointed by the lack of understanding. Still at the end we were happy we stayed at this hotel - it was really good.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. The modern design and clean, stylish rooms made for a very comfortable stay. Everything felt fresh and well-maintained, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment we arrived. One of the standout features was the free laundry service—such a thoughtful perk that made our stay even more convenient, especially during a longer trip. Additionally, the complimentary snacks provided were a lovely touch, perfect for a quick bite before heading out to explore or for a nice evening on the rooftop. The highlight of our stay was definitely the beautiful rooftop on the 9-10th floor, which offered breathtaking views of the city. It was the perfect spot to relax, enjoy a drink&snack, chit chat or watch a movie. The staff were friendly and attentive, always ensuring we had everything we needed. The location was great too, making it easy to get around and enjoy the area. Highly recommend!

Pros: 1. Room - Stylish, Clean and Comfortable to stay in 2. Breakfast - Breakfast served in set and good portion, mostly taste good! 3. Location - Walking Distance to Local Attraction such as Fine Art Museum, Ben Thanh Market, Takashimaya Mall, Saigon Square, Bitexco Tower & etc. Near to Bus Station where you can take city bus ride and visit somewhere slightly further. 4. Add On: - The Free Flow Beverages & Snacks have gave us a great convenient - Don't need to bring heavy mineral water back hotel after a long trip. Snacks provided us a chance to taste the local snacks & we can buy it as souvenir at nearby market - Free Laundry Services make easy for traveller like us who like to pack minimal & stay for longer period. - Staff speak fluent English, fast response & friendly - Rooftop area super chill & having great view - love to go up to the rooftop every night to enjoy the view with drinks. - Common area is spacious & always clean, we love to chill there & we got to enjoy our take away food peacefully during raining time.

1. Air-cond in room dripping, after complaint the staff act fast & get technician to repair it. 2. Water Heater a bit not so stable as they are using solar power - might experience not all room get very hot water. 3. Only have 1 unit of lifts for 9 levels building - sometimes might need to wait slightly longer if they are doing their housekeeping from floor to floor.

Great location and worked really well for our family of 3. We needed to upgrade to a family room and it was comfy and very well equipped. Good shower. Loved the free pantry concept, the laundry room (so practical!) and the breakfast was delicious. The daytime security guard was always exceptionally courteous/ helpful so special mention for him! Breakfast staff also lovely.

On booking.com we selected their recommended room as per usual. Bearing in mind we are a mum, tall adult son and teen daughter, we arrived and were told the room (a deluxe double nest) only had 1 queen bed and there were no extra beds we could put in the room. We were left with little choice but to upgrade to a family room, which had a double and single. This was an additional £18 approx. Just making others aware of this as apparently it has happened to others. I believe the hotel are trying to rectify the issue with booking.com. I would also ask for a quiet room because we were on the second floor, facing the street and there was a lot of street noise early morning.

The unlimited free pantry with snacks and water, beer, drinks was amazing. Always stocked up. Great location around eateries and main CBD area. 5 mins walk to Takashimaya. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Included breakfast starts at 7am, which is too late because many organised tours depart from 7-7.30am. Rooms were clean but needed fresh paint. Soundproofing is average: you can hear cars and scooters honking from the 8th floor if facing the street.

What a nice little hotel! The bed was comfortable (although a headboard might be a nice addition), room was clean and the complimentary drinks and snacks were brilliant! Would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

On booking.com it says that payment is taken in advance, but this was not the case. Having made multiple bookings to different hotels, I assumed that the payment had been taken and it was a bit of a shock getting the bill when we arrived. I should have checked more thoroughly beforehand, but the hotel needs to update this information on their platform to make this clearer to guests.

super well located, cool designs, free snacks and drinks !!!! easy to use laundry facilities :) very safe with a security guard 24/7 at the entrance

there was a few ants walking in our breakfast plates one morning and a bit of mold in the corner of our shower - the rest of the room was clean. the staff was very polite but not as friendly as some other places we stayed in vietnam.

I’ve been staying in hostels through my whole trip and this was the treat to myself for the end of it. The bed was incredibly comfortable and thick. The shower pressure in my room was great as was the overall decor. The staff were super lovely - extra thanks to the awesome chick with the pink hair who helped me with so many recommendations,. I got a free upgrade which was already so kind but unbeknown to the staff after the day I was having, meant a lot. I like that they’re sustainable and the 24/7 pantry is sick as!

There were issues with both of my cards (Visa’s) being rejected by the machine for payment meaning I had to withdraw the money and pay high fee for doing so. The cards continued to work fine elsewhere so I don’t know why they didn’t agree with the payment system there
