Rooms are clean, complete, and comfortable. The owners are friendly and helpful, they were eager to suggest restaurants and activities for us, all of which have been wonderful. The breakfast, depending on your room may not be free, are delicious and reasonably priced - though I heavily suggest you try the banh mi vendors just out in the corner. If you're looking for luxury, this isn't the place for you. But if you want to experience the hustle and bustle of District 1 in HCMC, this hotel is perfect. The area is full of amazing food options; from local vendors to full-on culinary adventures. For coffee lovers, there's dozens of cafes serving a wide variety of Vietnamese-style coffee. My friends and I had a wonderful time in HCMC, largely thanks to Piano Hotel!

AC and TV could use an upgrade, but not an important factor for me.

The room, the beds were clean and very comfortable. The location is very good. Easy 15 minutes walking to the big market. Lovely little street with no noise, a very good and nice restaurant, just 2 doors further. The breakfast is simple but good! The staff was very helpful, nice and I really liked it here. Unfortunately we had to change our plans because I got sick. The owner of the hotel was very understanding and cooperative. She offered me to make soup, how sweet is this! I highly recommend this little, personalised hotel in HCMC. Thank you very much the Piano Team for everything.

Simply fantastic! The place was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything you could need. The location is great, you can walk to many attractions while soaking in the lively street atmosphere along the way. Breakfast was included, and the best part was you get to choose what you want to eat the day before! Everything was delicious, but I absolutely fell in love with the Vietnamese sandwiches...I already miss it! Breakfast was also available super early, perfect for those heading out on early tours around 7 AM. We also tried the laundry service, which was excellent, quick, efficient, and very reasonably priced. The staff truly made the experience even better. From the reception and management to the cleaning crew, everyone was so lovely, polite, helpful, and always smiling, no matter the time of day. An all around wonderful stay!

The staff were very good, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ordered the night before and could be either an American breakfast or an Asian breakfast such as bahn mi or noodles. It was served with fruit and yogurt and coffee was available so it was sufficient, but unlike the buffet breakfast we had been used to other hotels in Vietnam. The shower was amazing great water pressure and unlimited hot water. The location was wonderful. We could walk to everything we wanted to see. There were good restaurants nearby too. The hotel also did laundry at a reasonable price for us.

The room was about a small of a hotel room as we’ve ever been in! It was OK because we were out most of the day, but was very limited. We also did not have a window natural light.

Very good location: you can get to all main tourist attractions by walk; the nearest convenience store is just 0,5m away by walk; if you want to go for tours organised by SST travel, it takes only 2m to get to their office. Nice and helpful staff. Additional facilities - during our stay neighbours were making some renovations and we could hear some noises. These noises weren’t so annoying for us, however we were offered free laundry service. Positive surprise by rooms with window view for staircase - to be honest after making a booking for room “without view” we were a little bit sceptical about it, however it turned out not to be a problem as we were coming back to the room after a sunset and thanks to AC there was good air ventilation. Moreover, thanks to having no outside window at least there was no noise from the street (what was an issue for us in some other hotels in Vietnam).

The hotel is tucked into a side street which is accessible via a main road. The street itself is clean and guests can check out a mini bar, a cafe, and a newly-opened Bep Me In restaurant just a few steps away from the hotel. The road is wide enough for cars to pass through but it's a quiet neighborhood---perfect for vacationing families. There are 2 convenience stores and a lot of eateries within walking distance so you have everything you need. You can also walk to Ben Thanh Market and Saigon Centre from this location. The hotel is clean and modest, looks fairly new, and has all your basic amenities. The staff is courteous and friendly, and the family room we booked was spacious. Fresh towels were supplied every day.

If you pre-booked the hotel, it's best to pay in cash. They charge you a 3% fee for using your credit card which is customary in Ho Chi Minh City. The lock to the bathroom door at Rm. 301 was broken. Breakfast was made ala carte but you only have 5 options which isn't a big deal if you're only staying for a few days.

Lovely little hotel within walking distance to a lot of attractions (within 1km). Handy Ministop convenience store right by the hotel for any basic essentials you may need. The hotel itself is quiet, reasonably clean, spacious rooms and very comfortable beds with 24/7 reception. Staff were very friendly and accomodating. If not fussed on having some of the “fancier” facilities I would recommend staying here, ideal for a short stay.

We loved staying at Piano Hotel. The staff was super kind and helpful, the rooms spacious and clean, and the location very convenient and on a quiet, cozy street. There aren't a ton of amenities, but there is everything you need. I particularly appreciated that even though we only stayed one night, they allowed us to keep our bags there while we went to Mekong Delta. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

If you are looking for a quiet place to stay in HCMC that is close to all the tourist stuff, you found it. My main criteria was quiet and comfortable and the rooms were soundproof and the alley was silent at night- no honking or motorbike noise. Bed was comfy. AC worked. Cheap and cheerful.

We didn’t try the breakfast because there were so many good places nearby. toilet had a slight odor but not noticeable when closed.

We had a very nice stay at the Piano hotel. The room was very clean and had everything we needed with a nice and big shower. We arrived around 5 am, and we could not check into our room yet. However, our host was already there to let us store our luggage so that we could go into the city without any bags until we could check-in. Our host and hostess were very kind and a great help to us. They arranged a bus and taxi to our next location and even let us use a shower even though we had already checked out that morning. It is also located quite close to a number of sightseeing locations which was very convenient. We definitely enjoyed our stay here.
