Based on a number of reviews about scams and misleading photos (in general about accomodation in Ho Chi Minh City, specificaly not this hotel) we were very unsure what to expect. So we only booked one night with payment at the accomodation. But this hotel exceeded our expectations and we immediately booked an extra 2 nights after we checked into our room. The room was very nice and very clean. Specially noteworthy was the double glasing. Our room was at the street side of the hotel but we did not hear the street noises at all. The wifi was excellent, we had some online work meetings which went without a hitch. Typical Vietnamese beds are pretty solid, but this bed was not rock hard. The mattress is soft enough and we had a very good sleep. The bathroom is perfect with a nice big shower and more than enough water pressure. Location is ideal. Away from the crowds and budget accomodation around Bui Vien walking street and the surrounding alleys, but just an under 10 minute walk to submerse yourself in the roaring nightlife. There are a number of good restaurants in the surrounding streets and alleys. Just 2 choices of breakfast (sandwich with egg or Viernamese noodle soup), but it was very tasty. You can either eat it in the small dining room or have it delivered to your room. All in all, when we visit Ho Chi Minh City again, we will definitely go back to this hotel.

I like the staff the most though they don’t speak much English but were super friendly and really tried their best to answer my questions. They always greet and ready with a smile. The room was really nice, big, clean, well-maintained and looks new. The internet was great! I had a nice view of the Bitexco Financial Tower every morning. The location is centrally located in District 1. I felt safe but some suggestions are (1) to put a double lock on the door and a (2) door viewer peephole.

This is a small hotel with about 11 rooms, however, it is well maintained and very clean. There is no swimming pool, gym or outside terrace which we knew prior to booking the room. We found the bed was quite comfortable (not as hard as most beds in this part of the world). Even though our room faced a busy street, we found it was well-insulated from the street noise and as a light sleeper ear plugs were not necessary. While many of the hotel staff had limited English skills, we were still able to converse via cell phone translation software. Staff were friendly and had an excellent attitude toward customer service, helping us to book excursions and find landmarks / services that we wanted to take advantage of. The hotel is within walking distance of the Ben Thanh market and many restaurants, which was very convenient.

The Booking.com website indicated breakfast was included however the hotel has not served breakfast since June 2024. Unfortunately, we didn't know this until arriving at the hotel. We had no problem finding places to eat breakfast within walking distance of the hotel.

Small, neat and tidy hotel managed by women only. Very comfortable room, soft bed n pillows with all amenities and toiletries included. Daily cleaning and changing of toiletries. Very close to Ben thanh market and metro station. Walking distance to many reputable restaurants. Next door was a Highlands coffee shop so breakfast was never a problem. Also many other shops are available in the neighborhood. Additionally, 7 Eleven shops are available in walking distance of 5 to 10 minutes. The staff at the reception, Ngan in the day and Vy at night were very helpful and polite. We had asked for a late check in, so everything was ready and the key was handed over to us as soon as we arrived. We were so tired after the long travel and transit hours, had a hot shower and took a rest. Vy, assisted us in getting a sim card, by calling the dealer to the hotel within 15 minutes. For the payment, we did not have cash at that time, so we paid the hotel by card, and they paid the dealer in cash. For the checkout also we had no problem, we paid in cash the previous night, as we had a early check out. They gave us the option to pay by cash or card. Ngan booked a taxi for us to get to the airport through the grab app. We had a wonderful vacation and will recommend Mia hotel to everyone. If we come to Ho Chi Minh City, we will be here again.

Front desk is really great..sweet and warmest smile always. Simple breakfast, but satisfied and healthy. Room is clean and well up kept, better than the picture.

Clean quiet room, comfortable bed, great enclosed stall shower with lots of hot water, good pressure and a free-flowing drain. Plenty of vanity space around the bathroom sink to set toiletries. Love that the super soft towels are delivered in plastic bags! Fast WiFi, lots of electrical outlets to charge devices, plenty of overhead light fixtures including over the desk and in the shower. Nice to have a refrigerator in the room with bottled water provided every day. Helpful and efficient front desk and cleaning staff. Fast elevator. Fabulous location within walking distance of many sights and a number of good restaurants. Reasonable price.

This is an excellent , well-maintained hotel. The rooms are spacious, clean, and equipped with quiet, effective air conditioning. The bathrooms are modern with plenty of hot water, and there is a safe as well as ample storage space. The beds are comfortable—not too hard—and provide a good night’s sleep. The only minor downside was the slow internet, which was limited to just 5 Mbps. Overall, this is a well-appointed, clean, and comfortable place to stay. Definitely worth the money!

Such a great place to stay. Great location, so many breakfast options and other restaurants and shops within a two minute walk. Staff were great and really helpful, super clean and great wi-fi. Only small downsides were not constant hot water, but it worked most of the time. The hotel is pretty quiet with only two rooms per floor (I requested a quiet room) but there's a karaoke bar nearby that plays loud until 11:20pm, though not every night. Still really great value for money, and really glad we chose this place. Thank you!!

Location - The hotel is near Ben Thanh Market and other tourist attractions in District 1. From the airport, it's only 35 to 40 minutes via Grab/Teksi. The road is safe to walk at night time. Nearby convenience store & coffee shops Service - Excellent. The staff were very friendly and respectful. The hotel receptionist Kiew - is very polite and understanding. She takes care of my check-in & check-out. Breakfast starts at 7.30am only but one day I have a tour starting at 7.50am. I informed about this to her and she arranged the breakfast to be served early at 7.05am for me. Hygiene & Clean - Overall good. Housekeeping is upon request. Breakfast - Good. They only offer 2 options - Noodle Soup or Vietnamese Baguette Bread & Egg Fries with coffee or tea but the portion is huge. For me, it's more to a personalized breakfast rather than buffet style. So I am happy and satisfied. No complains. Water - Good Water Pressure in the restroom. Have a good shower in the morning and evening. Others - 2 plug points in the room and 1 is near your bed. The room is spacious. The TV has plenty of English channels. The AC works well according to your preference. No disturbance from other occupants and could say it is soundproof since my room is on level 1 where they serve breakfast for the guest. There are a limited number of guests in the hotel so all guest is well taken care by the owner and its staft. Please take note that housekeeping and breakfast are upon request only. When you are leaving the hotel in the morning to start your day, they will ask if your room needs house-keeping or not and when you come back to the hotel in the evening or night, the hotel receptionist will check with you if you need breakfast or no breakfast for the next day. Overall - I am totally satisfied with my stay in the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel and will choose this hotel as my next stay.

I have stayed in many hotels in Ho Chi Minh city. So i can compare. In my opinion, this is a wonderful hotel that is superior to many previous hotels i have stayed in. The hotel looks very homely. I don't know how many stars this hotel has. But in my opinion, the hotel is superior to many 3 star hotels in Ho Chi Minh city where i have stayed before. Convenient location. Good breakfast (not as rich, but decent enough to keep you full in the morning before going out). Great wi fi. Bed a little hard. But this is a matter of taste. Cleanliness everywhere in the hotel. Very helpful staff. The hotel is not very big but that's a big plus. There will not be crowds of people. I have very positive impressions about this hotel. My wish to the hotel - is to keep the hotel staff and keep the price policy.
