Hotel is situated in District 1, very close to the street with cafes and bars, shops and main sightseings. The staff of the hotel is very pleasant, helpful and professional, speak good English. They made check in for us 2 hours earlier the official time. There is also laundry option for your clothes with a normal price. Room and bathroom are spacious with very strong air condition, window and have everything you need. The bed is comfortable. Towels are changed every day. Breakfast is served up in veranda. There is also veranda on the top of the building where you can enjoy the view of the city. Breakfast contains fresh fruits, juice, coffee and tea, the main courses are ordered by menu. All the dishes are very tasty, especially noodles with beef! If I come again to the city, I would definitely stay again in this hotel.

Firstly, every staff member we met during our stay was so pleasant and showed us how beautiful HCMC was with their friendliness. We greeted each other with smiles and sometimes with laughter :) The room (and bathroom) was spacious, clean, bright and SAFE! We binged YouTube on their TV every night and entertained ourselves with their Wi-Fi as we prepared for the next day. There was daily housekeeping during our stay, as well as a lovely breakfast spread upstairs that we looked forward to. We ordered their rice noodle soup specialty, as well as the lovely omelette and butter/jam toast. Alongside the main dishes, we enjoyed the assortment of fruit (mango, papaya, lychee, longan), caffeine and delicious yoghurt tubs + found some miniature baked goodies on our last day (so good!). Everyday at this hotel was excellent and everything that we wanted. I'm so glad that we stayed at Van Anh Luxury and recommend everyone who's reading this, to do so! Thank you so much to the Van Anh Luxury Team for everything.

A very clean, comfortable and very spacious hotel in an excellent location in District One. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and a range of hot dishes individually prepared. On the last day, it was very much appreciated when the owner said to just use the room for the day rather than checking out at the usual time. We were then able to shower and relax before our evening flight home to Australia. We highly recommend this hotel for the personable service provided.

I stayed for one night and it was great. Staff were very nice, always smiling and accommodating. I arrived early in the morning and they let me check-in immediately. I could also do a late checkout. Room was very spacious and clean. It was my last night in Vietnam and it ended on a very good note.

My room was on the 7th floor right across the breakfast room. So it started becoming noisy early in the morning. It wasn’t a problem as i was already awake but its thing to meep in mind if you like to sleep longer. Also, the elevator goes only until the 6th floor.

The owner, Tung (not sure if I spelt that right) was very welcoming and always smiling. Other staff were helpful and obliging. Also the owner upgraded our room for free. This was very appreciated.

A few things were not working, tv, fridge and bedside lamps. These should be checked before the room is rented out... however the staff immediately fixed these up for us once we had advised them.

The staff, breakfast, location, and overall value were excellent! The staff was our highlight! They are so friendly and helpful. The manager spoke good English. He responded very quickly throughout our stay on Booking.com direct messaging. Upon arrival, without hesitation, the staff lifted our luggage up the flight of stairs outside the hotel and brought it to our room. Check-in was easy and fast. The room was clean and had everything we needed. This is a budget hotel, so expect to see some minor things that could be improved, such as the faucet in the bathroom needing to be tightened, a hole in the wallpaper, etc. Wi-fi was fast and had no connection issues. Two complimentary water bottles were delivered in a basket with a towel every morning. Nice touch of care! Complimentary breakfast was served on the rooftop, and it was delicious. You choose what you want from a menu which I prefer over a buffet due to freshness and less waste. The only issue was at night, and someone, possibly a guest, was smoking a cigarette throughout the night and blowing it out of their window. I was awakened by the smell, which I think was coming from the A/C. We stayed for 3 nights, and this occurred only once. Overall it was a great value for what we needed. No need to get a fancy hotel when you're going on excursions during the day and cannot enjoy your room anyway. This hotel provides great customer service and value. $91 USD for 3 nights! The hotel is near everything, such as the Ben Thahn Market, and has great restaurants right outside. The tours that this hotel offers are competitively priced. We chose to do the Mekong Delta River tour ($25 USD), and it was 5 stars! Tip: Check out The Secret Garden restaurant (5 min walk). You can walk to Backpacker Street, Bui Vien, in 15 minutes (1.3km) or get a grab taxi in 5 minutes for 35k ($ 1.50 USD).

Minor improvements could be made, such as tightening the water faucet and repairing the hole in the wallpaper.

The hotel staff were so accommodating and friendly. We loved the large, comfortable room with a great view and excellent air conditioning. The breakfast on the rooftop was a hit for our family, we loved the selection of food.

We liked it all! The only thing that could be improved would be if the fridge stayed on permanently instead of turning off every time the room key was removed. It would work more energy efficiently this way, and also save people from their food items potentially going bad. But overall, zero complaints for this hotel!

Good location. Lovely staff. Big bedroom with floor to ceiling windows. Good breakfast served in a part open room on the second top floor. We liked being able to go right up to the small roof terrace at night to see the lights of the city. There were some chairs up there where you could sit and chill. The mini bar had a few drinks in to choose. The reception staff and the man who opens the front door to you and takes up your luggage was especially lovely and friendly.

Room was a little tired. The overhead lights were extra bright and the bedside light didn’t work. They said a previous guest had broken it and they hadn’t yet managed to get it fixed. Needs some coat hangers in the cupboard.

Staff were very nice, helpful and hospitable . can't fault them. Clean bedding and towels. Breakfast was fine. . Within walking distance to a lot of attractions. The main reason I booked this hotel was due to it being near the museums,gallery , post office, book Street and other attractions. Plus the reasonable price. If you want a place to stay near attractions with lovely staff and a breakfast.. then for the cost ,it's good value .

On first night our room had lots of bugs crawling over the floor and round the bedframe.. plus mosquitoes. I cleaned and sprayed the areas. In the morning there was still some. I reported this and by the time we went back to our room there were no more bugs or mini spiders. Well done to the staff. Although our room was clean it wasn't fully clean lots of dust on the extractor in the bathroom, round the back of the tv and elsewhere. Walls in room were scuffed, and marked. The wardrobe had seen better days.. a bit of updating required as property is quite tired.

Very spacious room with full glass window. Nice setup and very close to tourist attractions. Banks, restaurants, bars, cafes everything was on walking distance. Good for families too and on very reasonable price. Cold hot water both available and more good there is water pipe beside which is good for Muslims. Breakfast was very delicious along with different variety of fruits. Highly recommended
