The staff, breakfast, location, and overall value were excellent! The staff was our highlight! They are so friendly and helpful. The manager spoke good English. He responded very quickly throughout our stay on Booking.com direct messaging. Upon arrival, without hesitation, the staff lifted our luggage up the flight of stairs outside the hotel and brought it to our room. Check-in was easy and fast. The room was clean and had everything we needed. This is a budget hotel, so expect to see some minor things that could be improved, such as the faucet in the bathroom needing to be tightened, a hole in the wallpaper, etc. Wi-fi was fast and had no connection issues. Two complimentary water bottles were delivered in a basket with a towel every morning. Nice touch of care! Complimentary breakfast was served on the rooftop, and it was delicious. You choose what you want from a menu which I prefer over a buffet due to freshness and less waste. The only issue was at night, and someone, possibly a guest, was smoking a cigarette throughout the night and blowing it out of their window. I was awakened by the smell, which I think was coming from the A/C. We stayed for 3 nights, and this occurred only once. Overall it was a great value for what we needed. No need to get a fancy hotel when you're going on excursions during the day and cannot enjoy your room anyway. This hotel provides great customer service and value. $91 USD for 3 nights! The hotel is near everything, such as the Ben Thahn Market, and has great restaurants right outside. The tours that this hotel offers are competitively priced. We chose to do the Mekong Delta River tour ($25 USD), and it was 5 stars! Tip: Check out The Secret Garden restaurant (5 min walk). You can walk to Backpacker Street, Bui Vien, in 15 minutes (1.3km) or get a grab taxi in 5 minutes for 35k ($ 1.50 USD).

Minor improvements could be made, such as tightening the water faucet and repairing the hole in the wallpaper.

The hotel is located in an excellent location, close to all major attractions but not noisy at night or in the morning. the breakfast is limited but the quality is great, fresh food and fruit are offered every day. The soup with noddle is exceptional, better than the restaurant The staff is excellent….they took really good care of all the guests. A shoutout to the hotel manager, Mr. Tuan, he helped us for anything we needed like where to go to eat and shop. He helped us to hire a driver with a van and even joined us to a day excursion to Vung Tau. His friendly and happy nature are what we appreciate. We definitely will come back next time!

Only one thing that we don’t like is our pillows in our room is so thick. We just used couple of towels as pillow.

Loved staying at the hotel, very good location, family run small hotel with 2 rooms on each floor of 7 storied building. But the smallest of things were taken care of by the hotel staff. The husband wife and the daughter are very sweet, helping and professionals in running there family business. Definitely recommend who is looking for a nice clean and safe place in pocket friendly budget

The place is perfect. I was just staying on a hostel way back when I went to Vietnam for couple of days and this is the first time that I tried booking on a hotel. I intentionally look for an affordable one since my agenda is to sleep and a place to freshen up and not a staycation, given that I know for a fact that we will be outside wholeday. Thus, I dont need those fancy ones. It is just a small hotel. I booked a deluxe family room with my 3 other friends. The staff are pretty accomodating from the very start of the booking (virtually) until our check out time. The food option for breakfast is quite limited but it is really good! Not sure why I am reading complaints here but the food is good and the staff at the kitchen is really good, kind and accomodating. On top of the food you will be ordering, they have options of fruits and drinks as well. Feels like a hybrid of plated meals and buffet. So I can't complain! :) They have complimentary bottled water and they replenish it every day. TIP: I suggest you buy your own bottled water as well in the MINISTOP near buy for your consumption specially if you are a water person like what I did. :) They clean the room everyday. They also have a laundry services which makes my life easier. :) Everything is worth it! :)

Stayed for 2 nights in June 2023. The location was perfect, in the middle of the action and in close walking distance to attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were big and clean with a good air con and was good value for money. The breakfast on the roof was a nice bonus and a good way to start the day. For of us stayed in one family room and had plenty of room. If you are looking for clean value for money accommodation in a great location I would recommend this place, it was perfect for our needs. Was very close to Ben Thanh market.

The hotel is a family run and they are the nicest,friendly,helpful people you could meet.They even invited us to joint them for a wee drink and food when we were leaving the hotel one night.The breakfast is superb with 3 great Vietnamese options and 2 European and fruits.Great location and close to all the tourist attractions.Nice big rooms and good prices to,if i return to Saigon again i will stay here again as the folk in the hotel are the best.Thanks for looking after us 2 old Scottish folk.

The Staff were very welcoming, warm and absolutely helpful! Room is adequately spacious and had a nice street view. Breakfast was excellent including fresh fruit, yoghurt, juice and coffee, as well as quickly prepared tasty ala carte choices served on the rooftop by friendly & warm staff; location is great with major sites to see within reasonable walking distance. There are several eateries nearby with diverse cuisines to select from. Annie at reception is an excellent resource: responsive to messaging sent prior to arrival, a great communicator and provided a self-prepared map of the city, with directions to the Hop-on-Hop-off bus location, including identifying sites to see within walking distance (a great lower-cost alternative to the pricey city tours); Thanks also to Kit & Tuan for great backup when Annie wasn't around. :)

Place has been around awhile so wear & tear is evident in the furnishings and supplies (you get what you pay for at the attractive low cost); e.g. water not hot enough if you shower late at night; room phone is broken down - hotel should consider implementing WhatsApp communication as an alternative for clients to reach various services from the comfort of their room; :)

The property is very clean, the bed is comfy and there is a beautiful rooftop area to eat your breakfast. The food was exceptional. The staff were incredible and made us feel very welcome and happy throughout our stay. Kit helped us book all of our tours. Tuan helped us book all of our buses and always went the extra mile to make sure our stay with him was brilliant. I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough. 10/10, please book.

we received such a warm welcome late in the evening after a long bus ride from Dalat. Duan and his daughter, Annie, are an attentive team who helped us in many different ways during our short stay. the hotel is central to all the main points of interest in the city and there are lots of restaurants and cafes in the immediate area. The breakfasts are fresh and varied and served on the top floor overlooking the city. the room was large and exceptionally clean with lots of free extras. we highly recommend this establishment to fellow travellers.
