The quiet area and the bed

Its quite quiet so its good if you have a car. Not much to do around by foot. The staff is only there specific hours so evenings its quiet. Would be nice to have some staff around/feels a bit more safer ? Also there was a slug in the hammam area so did not use it.

We had an amazing time at Casalinho! The place is very nice bed, very large rooms and perfect beds. The breakfast has a lot of variety and is really nice. The swimming pool is quiet, rustique and very nice as well. There are separate towels provided for the swimming pool itself. You also get offered free drinks, port and nuts. The host welcomes you to the place and is superhelpful and really nice.

Only tip could be: 1. Higher water pressure, 2. A drying rack would be helpful, but other than that, we had a wonderful time!

This place feels like paradise in an unexpected place! We were going to Sintra for the day and found this lovely property. It is relaxing with a really nice outside covered sitting area, a creek that runs through the property, very nice gardens, chickens (which meant fresh eggs for breakfast), a pool (although we didn't use it, it looked inviting), and much more. Parking is great too. Overall, a fantastic one night stay. We want to go back and spend more time there.

The location is further outside Sintra than some might like but it could be reached with a shared ride or taxi service. My husband made the mistake of trying to drive in Sintra before our check-in. Big mistake! The roads are quite narrow and parking is a nightmare. It would have been better to park the car here and then take a shared ride service. We'll know better next time.

We can recommend this comfortable and clean place for tourists traveling by car. We did sightseeing’s in Sintra and Lissabon and stayed here for 3 days. After visiting the cities, we were very happy to be back to this calm and peaceful place to have a good rest during the night. The bed was big and comfortable. The team was very friendly and helpful. The air conditioning as well as all other equipment worked great. We also enjoyed staying in a beautiful garden.

The quiet location on the outskirts of Sintra was fine. The family run accommodation is set among fields in an old mill with a stream running through the property (ducks included). The are some loverly peaceful and verdant outside areas and a small outdoor pool. The family who run the business are extremely helpful and there is a very good breakfast service. You can drive a short distance to restaurants and main tourist sites.

There is no drink or food service outside breakfast but the rooms do have a fridge and coffee machine. Not staffed all day so checking in is via a hidden key safe.

Visited in August 2024 We stayed here a couple nights because it was close to the sites at Sintra. WOW WOW WOW!!! It was so much more that we were expecting! This is a uniquely beautiful villa! It is impeccably kept up by very welcoming and friendly hosts. The place is clean, wifi is fast, bed is comfortable, tv nice size, bathroom / shower is sized right, kitchen and breakfast area was great! Whatever the area...this groups is doing it right! If you are in the area do not miss this place to stay! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!!

Everything was perfect!

The room was very nice and had everything we needed for our stay. We loved the various seating areas available, as well as the swimming pool area. Breakfast is very very good even though it's not a buffet (my personal preference) - everything is out on the table when you arrive to the breakfast room and it's plenty. We didn't have to but I'm sure the people there would have brought more food out if we had asked. The owners and staff are very very nice.

We stayed in room 1 and there was no door to the bathroom or any kind of separation from the sleeping area to provide some privacy.

The environment and shared areas are incredible. It is like a spiritual retreat for meditation. They take care of every detail. Marta was so helpful and kind to us during our stay. We will come back undoubtedly. The bathroom was big. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable.

The cupboard is a bit small, and there are just a few hangers. The dormitory is not too big.

Quiet location, a good and renovated room, big dining area. Breakfast is simple but enough to start a day

It was a bit humid in a room despite dehumidifier. Perhaps one extra dehumidifier in bedroom will help

The river, garden and frogs- very tranquil Good size bed, good location with a car, lidl 5 minutes away, close to popular sintra. Breakfast was nice, lovely fresh juices and fruit
