We have been to a few 'Dog friendly 'hotels before ,the staff at this hotel made our dog so welcome and made such a fuss of her ,it made our stay very comfortable and we didn't have to worry about her bothering anyone ,she got so many treats from everyone she just loved it ,would highly recommend for dog owners, the bar was great with a good selection of beers and spirits at good prices, plenty places for dog walks as well .Thanks to all the staff ,we will be back with Brea the Rotty .x

The stay itself was a wee bit pricey, and the food was average.

It was a great location in town and beds were super comfortable.

Wasn’t made aware prior to getting to property that I needed to make a reservation for dinner. There wasn’t a lift to bring bags to your room. There was an inconsiderate neighbor that threw up all over the stairs and was slamming and yelling at 1:30 am each day we stayed. Parking was atrocious. There was not enough parking in the rear of the hotel so it was unclear where we could park.

I was so nervous going on an adventure alone with my dog and from the moment we walked in the door every member of staff made us so welcome and fussed over my golden retriever Halo. Great seating area with cover outside..nice collection of gins and mixers.. my bed was like a big marshmallow sooo comfy, room even had a fan :) nice hot powerful shower and finally the food I've never had a burger so good it was huge and the home made chips reminded me of the yummy ones my nan made. Oh breakfast that was perfection.

I wish there had been a couple of more wee shops for a wander but not 2mins from the doorstep of the hotel was the river spey and an amazing walk along it. Gorgeous.

What a surprising treat! This unassuming little hotel had touches that took it a step above the rest. Each room, we booked five, had a record player in it. There was a treat in each room as well, Walker biscuits, of course. The bathroom was large and well equipped with a very nice shower. We ate both dinner and breakfast in the hotel. Everyone enjoyed their dinner, and the service at the hotel breakfast was amazing. The kids ordered the pancakes and bacon, and I wish I had as well! Delicious! The buffet featured, fresh berries, such a rarity in most hotels. There is ample parking in the area. I would definitely recommend this hotel and return. Don’t miss out on walking the Speyside river walk across the way and visiting they original Walker shortbread shop, a few doors down

We really enjoyed our staying there. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly and addressed all our needs . Our room was so cozy that I stayed in and spent the whole afternoon reading a book. It was warm, clean and with a good shower in the toilette en-suite. The room was the right size and with a lovely bow window and it was equipped with all the facilities you may need. The bed was super comfy and huge. The hotel is very central and close to the river and stunning nature.

We had a meal there and we thought that the food quality and variety could be improved. Overall it was okay.

We have had meals a number of times in the Aberlour Hotel and have always had a fantastic experience. Large portions too. Each time we’ve visited, all staff have been knowledgeable about the area and are always happy and cheerful. Our room was large with a gigantic comfortable bed. the room was heated to a good temperature and was quiet too.

Personal choice, but I love a shower with powerful jets rather than a large spray but it was still enjoyable.

On arrival the staff were very friendly and explained where everything was located. The food was good, homemade chips, steak pie was tasty however I found it to be on the pricey side but again maybe right for the area. Slept well and the breakfast was good.

The room was acceptable however there was a broken lamp and the plaster was cracked but it was clean and the bed was comfortable.

This is a beautiful small hotel in a delightful part of Scotland. Aberlour is in the heart of whiskey country near the river Spey. We enjoyed everything out our stay at Aberlour. We found a small historic wollen mill nearby and bought a lovely tweed item for my wife which was made on a loom that is over 100 years old. We enjoyed a private tour at Craggnmore Distillery that was amazing. We also visited the Speyside Cooperage which was fun and well worth the time. We really felt welcome everywhere we went and there were no crowds even during June.

It’s nearby many whisky distilleries and towns hosting Highland Games. The room is quite large with a huge two person bath which is great for a relaxing and romantic evening.

There aren’t enough clear spaces to place your personal items especially in the bathroom!! The room is a bit stuffy but a fan was provided in the room which was a brilliant touch as none of the other accommodation we stayed at in Scotland provided this.

A very nice hotel, central in the city. Good food and breakfast. The room was equipped with a vinyl player, that was a very nice surprise for us.

A little noisy since the hotel is located at main street but that we understood already when we booked the hotel. The traffic is not so heavy during the night.
