Location is great, has private parking, super nice staff, good restaurant, spacious rooms, ours on the 3rd floor had a lot of sun and great view, bar with activities (like karaoke), indoor pool and sauna.

You can only stay 1 hour in the pool and need to book it. Even though it may be upsetting, it's understandable to make sure every guest has the opportunity to use it without being crowded all the time. Our room was on the 3rd floor, and the noise from the AC or the pool machines (unsure what machines it was coming from), was terrible. Couldn't fall asleep, and then at some point at late hours it stopped but then started again at dawn. Blackouts also did not completely close so we couldn't block the light from coming through the windows, and the room was very luminous!

It’s the third time we stayed at this hotel. It’s in a great location for anyone who wants to ski. It’s about a 15 min ride with the car to go to the ski area. It’s easy to park the car in front of behind the hotel. Late check in was possible. Dinner was good.

The pool should be warmer in my opinion and the spa area could have more lounge chairs. There were only 4 chairs for 6 people that had access to the spa at the same time.

Amazing and well designed/managed property, on-site free parking, cozy common spaces, spacious room with all of the needed amenities and stunning bathroom, limited but tasty breakfast, sensational indoor pool, spa/massage options at reasonable price points, very pleasant staff members, great location in the middle of SdE

I stayed for one night and had a really pleasant experience. The room was spacious, the staff were very kind and welcoming, and breakfast was generous—even with just a few guests. I also appreciated the relaxing spa area with a lovely view.

The bathroom sink was slightly clogged, likely from a previous guest. A quick check before check-in would’ve made the experience flawless.

Very clean. We stayed in a cozy family room, which was big and had a good layout for privacy. Everything was neat. Breakfast has a good selection. The staff was extremely polite and helpful. A very enjoyable stay.

I was expecting a better spa, considering the emphasis it has. Either way, it was very enjoyable. The breakfast very good, but the pastries were not really fresh. No kettle in the room.

Friendly and attentive staff. The entire hotel is clean, in good condition and well maintained. Good location for exploring the rest of Serra de Estrela as it saves you at least an hour’s worth of travel every day compared to towns in the valley. Restaurant has a large enough menu to try something different every evening and all is delicious. On a rainy day I just relaxed in the spa (sauna and small swimming pool)

The room was really clean and the service very caring and professional. The restaurant serves good quality food. The breakfast was with lots of homemade products, you have to ask for ham, cheese and eggs.

If you love animals, note that Sabugeiro (the city) is a rural dog breeding town.... you will see puppy in cages to sell on the road. I personally would have chosen another location if i had known. But nothing bad against the hotel.

The room was extraordinarily large. Without the view of mountains but really nice. It is great that this hotel offers wellness as well but to be honest it is not worth it. Saunas were turned off and the surroundings around the pool weren't very clean. Breakfast were delicious

Breakfast could have more options. The region has so many delicious breads, meats and cheeses but I felt that these were not well represented at breakfast.

Excellent room, spa service, delicious restaurant both for breakfest and dinner, staff very polite, the spa massage was wonderful i extremely recommend with a bonus for enjoying a sauna and salt water pool.

About the hotel no negative points at all but the location (not the hotel fault of course) is not really situated inside serra da estrela better part, the nearest interesting place to eat and have a drink is around 30km away, which also barely have options,driving in a dangerous road not really the best condition to enjoy a drink at night, ive been in september and Serra da Estrela is kind a disappointment as lack of interesting activities and the village of the hotel have literally nothing around when i imagined the place had a ski station vibes.
