staff was what set it apart from other hotels. location was great if you like a quiet hotel where you can enjoy the pool all day and use hotel restaurant to snack on reasonably priced food . it is by its self, so if you want to shop , or go to the beach you do need to rent a car or call for a taxi. we like to relax and stay away from all the tourists and enjoy the pool and beautiful flowers on the property , john g

it was an hour away from airport, so it costs about 100 dollars per couple to get shuttered to hotel. other food choices were not within walking distance.

Easy and pleasant check in. Restaurant was open late. Restaurant service in the evening and the morning extremely friendly and helpful. The food was good, prices normal. Breakfast included in the room price, you choose off the menu (Gallo pinto, pancakes, bagel with guacamole and egg, yogurt with granola, fruit plate...something for everyone). Pool large, deep, and perfect temperature. Lots of lounge chairs to lay next to the pool, towels given at the restaurant. Room nice sized, great A/C and fan, bathroom with all the amenities (warm water, shampoo, conditioner, bath gel, blow dryer, towels), bed and pillows comfortable, tv with cable. Free ample parking with security and wi-fi. Very nice facilities, food, and service. Very cute and sweet cat, Suzi, that is pretty sure she owns the place. If you give her any attention, you've got a roommate.

The hotel is about 15 minutes driving from Tamarindo and not much around. It's on a long stretch of road, in between towns. You definitely need your own transportation to get there. I did take a walk into a residential neighborhood, which was nice. However, you have to walk on a busy street for about 5 minutes to get there. The only other thing I didn't like is the way the manager spoke to employees. We overheard him a couple of times speaking down to the employees who were working hard and providing excellent customer services. Not cool for them or for us to hear.

This hotel brings you a feeling of family, the attention and the staff, extra miles they made for us, the gifts and always being there for us.

I feel the hotel is a little bit distant for the beaches, but this is resolved by proper transportation, also they need to have a more wider variety of fruit juices options with from seasonal and local fruits rather than pulp concentrates.

This was a little gem. Beautiful grounds, clean comfortable room, and a stellar breakfast every morning. The restaurant is open for dinner, and we enjoyed a couple of “happy hours” with drinks and appetizers. The saltwater pool is lovely and super clean. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant..just all around a very nice and comfortable stay.

I’m unable to remember the lady who checked us in, but she was absolutely amazing and very accommodating showed us to the room and how to operate everything and was real quick to assist in any fashion. The restaurant was amazing as well. We were in room three

Room/bathroom were clean, comfortable beds. Lots of parking space, and fits any type of vehicle. Breakfast was good, though it could use more options.

There was some weird sound behind the washroom happening frequently. The WiFi wasn't great, sometimes it just completely disconnected (room #23).

Nice place but food in the restaurant was not great and only one other choice nearby, as the hotel is very far from other restaurant and any shops .

Quaint place with cute cottage like rooms, super large pool and restaurant on site. Very convenient to beach and Tamarindo. We enjoyed our stay. Wonderfully priced. So much better than the all inclusive resort we came from.

We loved the beautiful large pool. the rooms were clean and the beds were quite comfortable. There was a great selection for the included breakfast. They baked banana bread on site which was put out next to the morning coffee. The staff were extremely nice and helpful at the front desk and the restaurant. There was a good and varied menu and the food was great.

We stayed here because we wanted to attend Ocaso Festival and this place is located between Tamarindo and La Senda, so it's conveniently located between the two. The place was relaxed and quiet, something we definitely needed after the party and close enough to Tamarindo if we wanted to eat, drink, etc. (the place also has it's own restaurant with very good food).
