We could not have hoped for a better place to stay! We had a wonderful experience at the Loch Ness Lodge thanks to the genuine and kind reception by Gabriel and team. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel completely at home with their warmth, generosity, and attention to detail. The B&B itself is beautifully maintained spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, and full of charm. Our room was cozy and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. In the morning, we were treated to a delicious homemade breakfast, prepared with care and featuring local ingredients. Gabriel went above and beyond to make sure our visit was perfect, offering great recommendations for things to do in the area and always available if we needed anything. His hospitality felt so sincere, and it’s clear he truly cares about the guests’ experience. We left feeling rested, refreshed, and grateful. We would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a peaceful and welcoming place to stay.

Arrived and greeted at the door, help with luggage was offered from staff. Room was newly decorated and very clean. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was very good. The professionalism of staff was excellent. We were very well looked after and recommend Loch Ness Lodge to others.

The only issue I had, was when taking payment for drinks, we had to physically pass a payment card over to a staff member. The card details are then entered into a computer. I believe that this method of taking payment is both outdated and insecure and could be improved by having a card payment terminal to help process a secure encrypted transaction. This method of payment would have gave me a greater peace of mind as nobody wants to be passing over payment cards to another person.

This hotel is an example of perfection. The staff go beyond a five star service; the comfort, the luxury, but also the personalisation of the visit, like visiting friends. Gabriel was a great host and Benny’s breakfasts are the best we’ve ever had. The beds in the rooms are the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on. I can’t wait to return. Words cannot describe how amazing this place is and I’m not quite sure how they achieve it flawlessly - perfection is hard to achieve. The true wonder of Loch Ness is the Loch Ness Lodge. I will return so that I can switch off from the world and rest.

This place is perfect and I want to return. The only thing I would change are the taps in the bathroom. Although they’re traditionally stylish and of high quality, they’re still the traditionally separated taps (hot and cold are separate). The change would likely be a hard decision between the traditional experience and the comfort of combing the temperatures.

Everything exceeded our expectations. The Lodge is so charming and romantic, yet luxurious. Extremely clean and very tastefully designed. Views of the lake are unparalleled. The staff is also so kind and they treated us like family - we arrived very late and left quite early, as a result we missed breakfast and the hotel owner himself still brought us some coffee and personally prepared snacks for the way. They really went above and beyond. It will always remain such a nice memory for our trip. Please stop there if you are in the region.

This is a real gem of a luxury, boutique hotel alongside Loch Ness. Yes it's pricey, but you really do get luxury - really attentive and helpful staff, beautiful rooms and a beautiful view of the Loch in all its different weathers. The facilities were excellent, everything you could possibly need, and you just feel a little bit special and spoiled. The breakfast was out of this world, just what a hungry traveller needs before heading out for the day. All in all a top class hotel for a couple who really want to spoil themselves. Very highly recommended!

Nothing - it was perfect and exceeded my expectations in every way.

Everything. We stayed here last year and returned as we had such a wonderful experience. The attention to detail is second to none and Gabriel and Jaro ensured that we were treated like royalty. The room was perfect and the view sublime - the rainbow over Loch Ness was fantastic. We indulged with the fireside experience - perfectly cured salmon, local cheeses and cured meats with a fabulous bottle of wine was the perfect evening. Breakfast was so delicious and prepared with care. This hotel should be on everyone's list to visit. Staff, accommodation, food, location - you would struggle to find a better place to stay anywhere in the world. (PS - if you are a connoisseur of whisky then there is a very well stocked supply of wonderful malts to try.)

Nothing - everything was perfect.

This was an exceptional hotel, service can only be regarded as the best we have ever encountered, very attentive and personal. Hotel looks right on the Loch, so views are fabulous. Breakfast was fabulous, the best Smoked salmon and scrambled eggs I have tasted. Dinner was available in Sister hotel, a short 3 minute walk away, which was really lovely, great choice and good service. Highly recommended.

Nothing, this hotel and service was exceptional.

Beautifully situated with a management team who display their pride in their property on their sleeves. We only stayed the solitary night but as luck would have it the hotel and surrounding area was hit with an out of the blue, water problem. Water everywhere to see but none to drink, wash or flush away. For a problem that was totally out of their control the hotel staff did very well and we were offered a generous gesture of apology when checking out.

If I can make one observation and one that I hope they will take on board is that the dish on the breakfast menu is Eggs Benedict/Florentine and not Egg. No hotel I have been a guest at before has served me a single Egg Benedict and for the cost of an additional egg and the level of service you strive to make your guests feel welcome with, I would suggest adding an 's' to the menu.

Loch Ness Lodge is truly beautiful. The sitting rooms downstairs with fireplaces are so inviting. Our room is one of the nicest we've ever stayed in - and we travel for months on end. Gabriel, who greeted us and took us to our rooms, treated us with the utmost care and respect - as we noticed he also did with all the guests. He was personable and professional. We cannot compliment him enough. Breakfast was wonderful, presented by the elegant Sonya. This is a truly magical place to stay.

That we only had one night. We would have delighted in more time in our beautiful room.
