Our stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in Olbia was magnificent! We had the best sleep of our life’s and the best pancakes too ( pleaseee give us the mattress and pillow details as well as the recipe for the pancakes!) The pool was really pleasant, they even have a jacuzzi which the lovely lifeguard turned on for us! Carla and Giovanni at the reception were super kind and patient with us, they went above and beyond to make sure we understood everything always with a smile on their face. Special thanks to Giovanni for giving us the most amazing restaurant and routes recommendations, he is not only sweet but an very handsome too x! The only complaint we have would be that we were not aware that we could book a specific view so we were unable to get a room towards the swimming pool but we still enjoyed everything and hopefully will be back again one day! Everything was really great! But, the website said 10 mins walk to centre. It was more like 30 mins & not a pleasant walk. The pool was wonderful!

room was big and clean, and we had a parking place which is super important if you dont want to spend time looking for parking after a long day on the road. and the pool, really quite and great.

ironically the things we liked less was the Gastronomy part. breakfast was pretty basic, with some issues with the eggs, some boiled eggs are way too cooked and this scrambled egg powder, which was not amazing. also the cocktails were not super delicious.

Great mattress and pillows. Spacious bedroom and bathroom. Friendly staff and great location: close to the city center, as well as the airport. I really liked that it has a locker room with showers and everything you need to get ready after using the pool if you have already checked out.

They have a very strict (strange) policy about food coming from outside. If there are any leftovers found in your room, you might get up to 200 euros cleaning fee

Clean, very comfortable bedding and lovely food. Mario in the Tilibbas Restaurant was fantastic, what a great asset to the businesses, he couldn’t do enough for us and was always sweet making an effort to engage with the children and make them laugh. He also had great knowledge of the wine and made some lovely recommendations. Flamingo bar is great, lovely cocktails and mock tails for the children. Pool was clean and lovely but some of the lining was coming away which didn’t strike us as particularly safe.

Location is a bit out of the way, but we had a car so it was only 5 mins to the port area.

We stayed here at the last minute as our flight was cancelled. It was a bit further from the airport than we wanted but it was only around 20 minutes by taxi. The hotel didn't have much atmosphere and felt quite empty. The bar staff were very helpful though.

The choices at breakfast were OK but not as good as other Marriott hotels we've stayed at.

Hotel staffs were great with high standard services. I would like to specially thank all the catering staffs at the hotel kitchen for their great job and services. I have used their half board service and food was great which were sourced from local farms and wineries. I would highly recommend their catering services. Facility is newly built, modern and clean.

Unfortunately it wasn't the peak season when we traveled so the swimming pool was not in operation. And the swimming pool is outdoor not indoor. However for the peak season during summer time, this outdoor pool will do its job I think.

A spacious Hotel, very much Double Tree, not very Sardinia BUT serves a purpose, and does it well. The Restaurant for dinner is actually very good, a special mention for Benedetta who is excellent, but all staff are nice. Ironically the breakfast hot food was often cold, but plenty of choice. Michael the barman very helpful. Nice large swimming pool.

It is an impressive looking hotel when you find it tucked away behind some side streets, so the approach is not brilliant BUT we would stay there again. No luggage porter, but you can use the trolley.

Our room was excellent. Breakfast selection is vast and fried eggs provided on request. Juices weak. Benedetta really very good.

Reception staff all miserable, no one smiles. No umbrella's available when raining.

We were travelling with family (8 people), we arrived the hotel before check-in time and we were allowed to use swimming pool which was a plus. Breakfast choice was quite nice, considering how it looks mostly in Italy. Located 15 mins drive to the airport.

During our stay electricity was not working for 1-2 hours - we were very surprised the hotel has no extra powering, some people got trapped in the lifts, which looked scary. Lack of electricity=lack of coffee/hot dishes in the mid of breakfast, the staff didn't even inform the guests what was happening. Staff at the restaurant and pool "bar" were super slow, we were waiting for a glass of wine for ages. Air condition was working bad in some of our rooms, there was very fuggily.
