The house belonged to the owner, Alessandra’s grandfather, he was a painter hence the name “la casa del pittore” and his paintings are on display in all the rooms. The casa has just two rooms, each spacious and very clean. The two rooms share a full kitchen and a large amazing terrace which overlooks St Paulo’s Church. The location in Olbia is perfect, central in the old town and very easily accessible. We travelled via public transport and it’s a short walk from the nearest bus stop. Delicious breakfast provided, this included, ham, cheese, yogurt, jams/nutella, cereal, pastries/muffins, juice, coffee, teas etc. Each room has its own area for food within the kitchen. Alessandra is a perfect host, offering advice and guidance about where to go and restaurant suggestions and is sincere and kind.

The host Alessandra was just the best, she was very hard working and her local knowledge helped greatly. The apartment was very well situated in Olbia and right next to St Paulo's Church so easy to find, also the apartment was immaculate as well as the shared kitchen area. The rooftop terrace was a bonus on a nice warm evening for a drink or you could have your breakfast there.

There was nothing to dislike about the place, I don't know why people overlook Olbia as the town/ city has so much to offer, great shops, lovely restaurants and Pittulongi beach only a 1 euro ride away by bus.

Staying at La Casa del Pittore in Olbia was a dream! Alessandra made our stay a 10 out of 10. Prior to checking in she was always available to support with itinerary planning and then when we got there, she personally welcomed us to give us a tour of the property. She was always available to help us sort out transportation or book a dinner reservation. The location couldn't be more central and the room/shared spaces were so clean and well stocked. This is the perfect stay for a couple traveling Sardinia!

If you are traveling to Olbia during peak season (July-Aug) you can expect getting around the island without a car to be very expensive/challenging to secure taxis. Alessandra was very helpful to secure car transfers + taxis when she was able however, I would highly recommend renting a car if you can to avoid paying a lot of $$ for transportation.

The location is perfect. Just off the main eat street and life of Olbia. It has the most amazing terrace that is best utilised in the late afternoon/evening for some drinks and nibbles before you head out for a late dinner. Alessandra the host is amazing and made.out stay.the best it could be and even drove us to the airport for our flight. Above and beyond! We will be back for many reasons not the least of La Casa del pittore and the wonderful host and service.

Very spacious room, very clean, and the same goes for the bathroom. Breakfast can be served very early and includes ham, cheese, yogurt, jam, Nutella, bread, fruit, milk, juice, coffee, etc. The location is excellent, close to most restaurants, with everything in close proximity. If you have a car - a large, free parking spot is just a few minutes walk away. The host is amazing - very kind and helpful with everything you need.

I recently enjoyed a stay at La Casa del Pittore, deserving every one of its five stars. The room was not just beautiful but exquisitely comfortable, with a plush bed and a spotless, well-appointed bathroom. Alessandra was exceptionally kind and attentive, adding warmth to the experience. The hotel's central location was ideal for exploring the city, and the terrace offered stunning views. Breakfast was very good, with a variety of options. In summary, my stay was perfect, with a beautiful room, kind staff, great location, and very good breakfast. I look forward to returning in the future!

The location is very good, right next to the main street but on a quiet little alley. The house was very clean and the kitchen well equiped. The original paintings are amazing, it's like living inside an art gallery for a few days. Alessandra is a lovely host who gave me very good recommendations for restaurants and activities, even put me in contact with people who organize boat trips. She is also very responsive to special requests from her guests.

For a longer stay or trip it would be nice to have a access to a washing machine, but during summer it was not a major inconvenient since I carried light clothing that I could handwash.

This is a great location for exploring Olbia. Very easy to access via bus. The host goes above and beyond to make sure you have a good trip, including providing a great value breakfast and recommending local places to eat. The room is spacious and clean and the roof terrace has a brilliant view of the church. We would definitely stay here again if we were back in Olbia!

The host was really friendly and made us feel like home! Top location - everything is 1 to 5 minutes walking distance with great restaurants and cocktail bars around (the host recommend few of them). Shops and pharmacies too. Train station is 5 mins. Amazing roof top terrace with a view to the church and a small square. Super clean! The room was cleaned every day. Very nice breakfast. We wanted a mocha coffee - the host provided everything needed for that even though it wasn't included initially Comfortable check in/check out options

Everything was perfect, there wasn't anything I disliked

The rooms were lovely, typical italian decor and they had everything we needed. The roof terrace facing the church is absolutely stunning, and we loved having breakfast on it every morning. The host, Alessandra was exceptional. She was incredibly helpful, going out of her way to book us taxis when we needed them, and she laid out a delicious breakfast for us every day. She takes real care in what she does and that really shows. We would 100% recommend!
