The hotel room was tastefully decorated and comfortable except that one could not open the windows due to special air system in house. We had an separate large bathroom in hallway for our own personal use. The house is ideally located on edge of river with a pathway at end of garden for walking/biking. Breakfast was available to order in wonderful dining room with view over the river.
The possibility of opening the windows in room was not available as air conditioning was slightly too cool for our preferences. We were warned with a fine if we opened our window (was communicated virtually as a threat!) The breakfast was tasty but overpriced for what was served ($35.00/person), we should have ordered something smaller as the opportunity to take the last course as take-away was not available, it was a set menu.

I had the most enjoyable and peaceful experience in this place. The Kingsmere room was cozy, classy and the view was spectacular. I was there to find peace and quiet and to destress and that is exactly what I got. The three course Breakfast was yummy, healthy and very creative. The weather was bad and so the option to dine in was very convenient and with a very good price! The seating areas are all beautiful and well thought of. Last but not least, the hostess Barbara is a lovely and very pleasant lady and she would do her best to make everyone’s experience what they expect it to be. Having 2 lovely and quiet dogs was a great bonus. I would definitely go back and stay longer!

As the name says B&B, bed and breakfast; the bed and pillows were so comfortable my husband and I slept like babies; the breakfasts were incredible creations that were of the finest cuisine. The location was beautiful and relaxing and the hospitality, warm and friendly. This was our first time, but definitely not our last.
We loved everything!

We stayed in the Kingsmere room which has such a beautiful view and the bed is incredibly comfortable! You are just steps from a path around the river and a close drive to lots of different trails, restaurants and shops. Barbara is very welcoming and created tasty 3-course breakfasts. Overall a wonderful stay!
We have no complaints!

Wow! That view!! My husband and my parents stayed two nights at Auberge Tom and it was WONDERFUL! The rooms were both ideal. My parents had the Gatineau room with a lovely balcony, and we had the Kingsmere room with a spectacular view right from the bed. Both rooms were equipped with coffee and tea and snacks. There were also nice toiletries on hand. The beds were VERY comfortable (the linens were so soft!). The breakfasts were very large and gourmet, and Barbara catered around my dietary restrictions (without any compromise to quality). Barbara was a lovely host, giving us the run of the house and the various patios. We also appreciated that she took covid-19 seriously, making us feel safe. We could have lingered for days (if only we had the time!). The artwork, The music, the gardens - all special touches that didn’t go unnoticed. Right behind the BnB is a 20km trail along the river. Next time we will bring our bikes or kayaks. The place is also perfectly situated for trips to Gatineau park, covered bridges, a gold course, Chelsea and Wakefield.Barbara gave great tips for the area and she was a pleasure to get to know. She takes pride in the house and it shows. We stayed at the Marriott in Ottawa the night before for the same price, and auberge Tom was a hundred times nicer! From start to finish, this BnB was a great way to celebrate my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary. We would love to come back again one day!
There was nothing we didn’t like about the property, but a dock for swimming from the path would be cool!

We had an amazing experience overall! The breakfast was delicious and set up very nicely. The trail outside that’s right down the B&B was also a beautiful walk, and we loved the balcony overlooking the river. Would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to others :) thank you so much Barbara!

The property was amazing and the breakfast was simply delicious
It was a too-long introduction in the beginning and we have to negotiate 30 min extension for our stay when we simply asked to come back and to change after a walk before we are leaving

The Gatineau room offered exceptional comfort and amenities such as a personal deck to enjoy the view of the Gatineau River. Barbara was also an exceptional host and cook. The breakfasts were gourmet. If you’re looking to be spoiled on a get away, this is the place!
Can’t think of a thing.

This property is located in a very beautiful spot overlooking the water. The room and private space was clean and very comfortable, with an amazing view of the lake. We traveled late September and the fall colours were stunning. Our private patio was provided with a heater and blankets for the cooler weather. We were served tea and coffee outside while we waited for breakfast. Breakfast was very good and our host Barbara was lovely, informative and very good at providing a breakfast that met my dietary restrictions. It is about a 20 minute drive to Ottawa.
