Staying at Beit Toureef was truly one of the best travel experiences I’ve ever had. This hotel offers an authentic glimpse into Beirut’s charm. set in a beautifully preserved old building with original décor and vintage furniture that instantly transports you to another time. From the moment I booked, the staff made me feel like family. They reached out even before my arrival to share helpful information about the hotel, assist with meal planning, and even offered the convenience of online check-in and payment, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. The service throughout my stay was outstanding. The team paid attention to every detail, ensuring everything was taken care of. The rooms were spotless, the environment felt very safe, and the food was absolutely delicious, fresh, homemade, and full of flavor. The hotel’s location is another huge plus. It’s perfectly situated, close to everything you’d want to explore in Beirut, yet still offers a peaceful and cozy retreat. Without a doubt, Beit Toureef will be my go-to place whenever I visit Beirut again. It’s more than just a stay, it’s a warm, soulful experience you won’t forget.

Beautiful historic house, very comfortable if small rooms, staff was wonderful - very communicative and helpful and the highlight of the experience. Location is good for all East/central Beirut needs and walkable to plenty of things. Breakfast was fantastic and rooftop in the evenings was very pleasant.

Lost water overnight and in the morning the last night, but staff was able to fix quite efficiently. Fourth floor walk up was a bit of a hike in the heat and would have been nice to have coffee service available on the rooftop during the day, but these are all minor quibbles in the overall experience!

I got extremely lucky to have found Beit Toureef for my stay upon arriving in Lebanon after a long time away. It was perfect in every sense. The rooms are exquisitely designed and impeccably clean, the team and the service are exceptional, and the host Sas was beyond welcoming and was kind enough to receive me and check me in at 4am! Beit Toureef supports local communities and projects and you will find the most interesting local products for every taste. They have an all day breakfast and beautiful roof top for your sunsets and evenings. Beit Toureef is the perfect epitome of the essence of Lebanese hospitality and heritage in the heart of Gemmayze. I recommend it for every local and tourist passing by.

I loved the simplicity vintage atmosphere, it gives you the cozy old times vibe. The staff were so nice and helpful. The breakfast was on point, the traditional Lebanese breakfast, just what you need with the staying experience, and it was delicious. The location is also great, in the middle of everything.

If you have a leg disability or you just can’t use long stairs for any reason, consider asking to be in the first floor, as there isn’t elevator.

The location was super! It was very cosy and sweet and the breakfast was very yummy

Althu we were a couple they gave us the smallest room in the facility our other single friends got bigger rooms and when we asked to be moved they said no availability, it just wasn’t smart to put two people in such a tiny room we were literally pumping on each other also there were alot of noisy work in the hotel during the day making it hard to rest

From the moment I arrived, every single staff member I came into contact with during my stay made me feel extremely welcome and comfortable. The building itself was stunning, and my room was elegant and very clean - also, the wifi connection was strong and stable. The rooftop bar was a really cool space, and the barman even introduced me to Lebanese blue wine, which was delicious. The property owner happened to be on-site during my stay and told me a bit about the hotel's social enterprise and ethos - this alone makes me want to stay here again. I only wish I had more space in my luggage to bring home some of the local products on sale in reception. Thank you for a wonderful stay and I look forward to next time!

it is really important for me to deal with the right kind of staff. they were super friendly and professional and responsive to all my requests, i liked the stairs the old house energy, the bed, the beauty and bath products, the breakfast

I would have loved a faster internet but i was told by the owner that they are going to fix that but then again Beirut has issues with the internet and i wish them the best.

It was such a cute place to spend some incredible days in Beirut. Everything was so lovely furnished and the staff was also very friendly. I felt so comfortable and the location was also very great.

If would have been better to not offer the same breakfast set everyday since it got a bit boring after some time.
