I have absolutley no complaints about the accommodation, location or value for money, so the following is levelled at Booking.com. Having unexpectedly had breakfast included last time I booked different accommodation near Clevedon through Booking.com, I specifically searched 'B&B near Clevedon' this time around and came up with The Bridge. On arrival, I was told the deal was room-only for the price I'd paid. My complaint is therefore that I never quite know what I'm getting when booking using Booking.com...........that's frustrating and somewhat misleading.

Perhaps because breakfast hadn't been included so I became a regular paying guest for this in the morning, we waited 45 minutes for breakfast to be served. If that's the norm and had we known we'd wait that long, we'd have just ordered the continental breakfast and helped ourselves immediately.

Really easy to find by sat nav, minutes off the motorway. Easy check in and although they were fully booked for food at the attached Hungry Horse (notice on door) and we arrived late evening, they accommodated us no problem as we were staying there. Didn’t rush us at all. As we were catching a very early morning flight, we only used the room for 4 hours but it was clean and bed comfy, with tea and coffee making facilities. 20 minute drive to the airport. Lovely place to stay as we didn’t expect much due to the price and the star rating but we were very pleasantly surprised and will definitely return when we fly from Bristol again. Thank you.

Refurbed recently bathroom lovely , new carpet in corridor since we last came looks nice and fresh. Friendly welcome . Great for a night before airport. Even got the disabled space ! 20 minute easy drive to airport , definitely will book again at the price

Someone being noisy leaving the pub late going to their car (said see you tomorrow so? Staff? ) Lots of things unavailable in restaurant even though we were there early evening , bit chaotic . Kept choosing something else and they kept coming back saying we don't have that either 🤣 but pub menu is value for money also drinks . Room is a bit dark could do with one bright overhead light

Second time I've stayed here, and even ended up in the same room as last time. There aren't many places to stay in this neck of the woods, but if you're looking for somewhere solid, with reasonable pub grub attached, and a decent breakfast, this place ticks the boxes. Yes, the room is pretty dated, and a bit rough around the edges with a few stains on the walls, but it's cheap, the bathroom was spotless, and I'd stay here again.

The bed was less comfy than I remembered it being the previous time - I honestly woke up feeling pretty achey and realised just how hard the mattress actually was. Not sure if something has changed here.

Staff were extremely friendly, especially Nigel who met us at reception and also served in the bar and restaurant. Family room for 4 was very spacious and the beds were extremely comfortable with nice soft bedding. Overall very clean and tidy. Breakfast was excellent, great value. the whole experience was definitely value for money. We didn't utilise the kids soft play area but it looked ideal for young children to while away a few hours.

It is starting to look a bit tired, damaged doors, scratched paintwork, torn seat cushions, that sort of thing. Obviously had a redesign of the car park to accommodate plenty of EV cars but the road markings had not been removed fully or changed so you could mistake the one way circuit and go the wrong way.

The staff were friendly.. and nothing was too much. Nice food in the pub area.. We ate main course meals and they were lovely. Bed was comfy.. Good size rooms. Room was clean. Ideal location literally 3 min from rhe M5 and 12 min from the beach at Clevedon.

I slipped in the bath whilst using the overhead shower.. bath surface was Slippy. Before vacating the room.. we noticed a small sign in abyhroom.. but on opposite sore to shower... saying small print u can ask reception for bath matt. This sign needs to be nearer to the shower so people notice it and more obvious.. as we didn't notice it before we used the shower.. Pulled leg.. but this could of been prevented.

Clean and comfortable bed with a generous sized room with good storage Plenty of EV chargers and general parking Lovely Hungry Horse pub attached with pool table Very good TV Ample tea and coffee Very diligent cleaning routine across the rooms and shared areas Lovely staff

Lots of sound leak through the walls (so qulaity of sleep might depend on who you are next to) No sockets next to the bed for phone Low water pressure on the shower

stayed night prior to Bristol flight . breakfast was good but would probably suggest instead of £9 per person for full English does include unlimited coffee, continental option etc which is great value but I think full English onsite instead for £4.95 per person minus coffee etc , my opinion that’s all .

The breakfast was very good. Wide selection including waffles with various toppings, full English, continental, vegetarian. Good value for money. The room was clean and a good size. Spacious bathroom (Room 1) Lots of parking available. Staff were friendly, especially the manager running the breakfast shift on Thursday 4th July. He was here, there and everywhere and still had bags of energy and was talking to everyone and checking everything was ok.

The bath had hair in the plug hole on arrival. Needs modernising, bit of a musty smell.

Beautiful location, my partner lives in Wales I live in Scotland. Staff ALL very welcoming. We can only see each other every couple weeks due to both working, so we have found our go to place. Very peaceful as we are not fussed on busy pubs/clubs. Exceptionally clean, no shocks after stripping bedding when leaving. Food great and very affordable. Just stayed here 10th - 12th May and already booked to future stays. Despite reviews saying how dated it is it was exceptional for 2*.

No plug sockets beside beds as needed to use fan, however no big deal as on our next stay we will bring an extension cable.
