We spent 3 nights in this Bed and Breakfast place. It was best value lodging and around 20-25 min walk into old town historic center. There is no private parking, and we needed to make sure that we didn’t park in a resident with permit required. Although it is on a busy street, our room was quiet and comfortable. It is a self-checkin process where we were given an entry code to the apartment and a separate code to our room. The room was small though it has a little “hall” that had a table that has coffee maker with instant coffee and teas. The breakfast area has a nice, comfortable lounge. It has a refrigerator where we can put our food & drinks. The complimentary breakfast is continental style with pastries, fruits, yogurts, bread, & condiments. The best part of breakfast is the cappuccino maker. I am prediabetic and it would have been good to have either cold meats or hard boiled eggs for breakfast. The staff and the owner were friendly. The facilities were clean and the front yard was well kept. It is walking distance to restaurants and a pub. There is also a gas station nearby though we didn’t need to go. Overall, we enjoyed our first time staying in Cardiff and recommend this place.

Upon arrival, the check-in process was completely automated -very easy to follow instructions that were emailed to us before our arrival. Public spaces were super clean and welcoming. The reserved room was lovely, well-equipped, and spotless. There was even a fan for air movement - perfect! There was ample room for 3 adults to comfortably spread out. We were able to walk to and from city attractions in the downtown area. Some areas along the walk were a little less comfortable to traverse on foot at midnight, but we did not have any issues. There was a city bus running along the walking route, but we did not try that option. All-in-all, it was a very pleasant stay.

The parking situation (street parking on the block around the property) was a little concerning and difficult when we arrived during a workday. The next day, we left town for a day trip, and when we returned on a Saturday afternoon, there were plenty of spaces available. I thought I had reserved the breakfast option, but sadly, I had not. So I cannot speak to the quality of the coffee.

Good location, easy to walk into town. Gaining access to property easy, excellent info pack provided. Very clean and organised . Quick , helpful responses to questions on WhatsApp from Abbi the owner. Katie, the housekeeper, was lovely, very helpful . Well presented and attractive property. Use of fridge ,microwave , and glasses for residents. Heated towel rack in bathroom.

Beautiful place. Comfortable bed and good size room. Very clean. About a mile walk from the city center.

I liked the fact that all was automated. Easy to check in but they made a mistake in the room assignment and they made it seem like we were the ones that were wrong and not following the instructions sent. When that was not the case, house keeping was there and helped us out. For me it was to automated, no interactions with the owner. Breakfast limited compared to other B&B’s we have stayed at.

The apartment has an excellent location in a very quiet neighborhood, just a 10-minute walk from the city center. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom is new, and the room is spacious. The breakfast room is lovely, with romantic music, a terrace, and comfortable sofas. The apartment is fully equipped with everything you might need, including a hairdryer, iron, refrigerator, towels, and other essentials.

Easy to find, checking in/out was very smooth was impressed by the technology used to check in and out quick and simple. Extremely clean - great facilities perfect for short stay. Staff were great and gave fresh towels daily and made bed. All use of Netflix, Amazon and Disney already being pre logged in really helped as did have to faff with logging in - this was a nice touch.

Pillows were a little flat also road was quite loud in the evenings as we were facing the main road. Also coffee machine was turned off to be cleaned earlier than I expected but staff were helpful and turned it back on so I could have my morning coffee! Really helpful!

really really appreciate the added bonus of the extra morning breakfast. We loved it last time and loved it again. Since we're canadian the exchange rate really hurts us making everything much more expensive therefore every little bit saved helps. thank you for doing that for us. the room was clean. the extras in the rom and the breakfast provided was great. Depending on timing, the breakfast could be extended to maybe 10-11 am for the late risers. otherwise everything was wonderful and I highly reccomend

breakfast hours could be extended for late comers, late risers...after all, we are on vacation :) could the coffee maker also be available all day for the specialty coffee?

The location was quite nice, within a few kilometres of the city centre. The neighbourhood itself was reletively quiet, and had an authentic British pub around the corner, with decent food. The building itself was cosy and had a nice atmosphere to it. There's a common room, where breakfast was also served, and the coffee machine makes good coffee. For those travelling with an electric vehicle, there are car chargers just across the street.

The bed was not the best and was only 1.40m wide. When I'm abroad, I already have trouble sleeping properly and these circumstances didn't help. All in all, that was a minor gripe.

Room was clean and comfortable. Abi & Charlie very accessible via WApp for questions and clarifications. Guide for guests is very complete (check-in instructions, activities and places to visit, wi-fi instructions, etc). You can buy some food and use the refrigerator if necessary.

A little bit far (20-25 minutes walk) from the train station when you have baggage to carry. Breakfast options are the same every day.

Very clean, well appointed accommodation. The bed was comfortable and tea/coffee/biscuits were provided. noise insulation was very good despite it being on a main road. Host help messaging service was good and immediate.

Nearby street parking was a bit random and inconvenient but that's no fault of the B&B. I would have preferred to see a member of staff some time during my stay but for a fully automated stay, it seemed to work well. Despite building works being carried out, if it was my place, I would have cleared up some of the general rubbish left on site or made the builder clear up after work. The garden looked like a rubbish sack had been dropped in it from a great height. Most builders leave a site tidy, at the end of the day.
